I have no idea how this could be considered a 3 star hotel. When we got to the hotel the 1 king bed non smoking room given to us smelled like an ashtray. There was a huge dead roach in the bathroom. Very filthy overall. Went to the front desk to be given another room and was told all king bed rooms were sold out. Settled for a 2 double bed as long as it was clean. When we got to that new room the TV service did not work. Also cleanliness left much to be Desired. Will not be coming back here again. There are cheaper options around that are way cleaner.

I have such mixed feelings on this hotel. Some of the staff were rude, while others were accommodating and helpful We had to move rooms because we had roaches in the first room. Initially, none of the ice machine were working. When getting out of the pool, which was beautiful, and their best feature, we saw a raccoon climb out the trash. They have a good breakfast buffet, not you can't take any food back to your room. You have to eat it there, which I didn't particularly care for, because I wanted to eat outside and enjoy the view and the weather

I liked this location I stay in hotels 10 months out of the year and my husband and I are Diamond members so we are very knowledgeable about our stays, everything was great except the fact that they have not started back making hot breakfast and that is one of the only reasons we booked it. I have been to other states, for example Coralville, Iowa and their choice hotels still do hot breakfast but they just take your order and prepare it for you. Had a good time thanks

The worst place to stay. they have cucarachas, the pictures they show for advertising are not real. The rooms are old and derty. The breakfast area was close, for breakfast, they had a small area very derty. They didn't have any plates and 1 pitcher of coffe. They were 3 people at the front desk that they didnt care about the custumers. Please do yourself a favor do not stay there. We stay there becouse we were going to Moffit Cancer Center but was our worse mistake.

The hotel is empty, front desk, during check in, said we could stay to noon just ask front desk, without being charged 100 as they have a strict policy for check out . My wife asked the next morning, which they said no. They also have a sign stating they keep your deposit if you leave after 11am. They say they have contential breakfast it's a lie all they had was cold breakfast. We read a review where a guest stated they had no hot breakfast and the owner stated that wasn't true so we actually thought there was hot Breakfast but wasn't true. We paid 158 for one bed when we paid about 80 for 2 beds in March of 2021 and there was hot breakfast... We were placed in front of ice machine and stairwell, which we were kept awake by people talking outside at 2 am and getting ice...yet the hotel was empty. They charge awkward fees to charge the average price, no discounts even with apps. Total disappoint, won't come here again.

It is presently closed. Tgi Fridays closed. Website gone. Phone disconnected. It had become a transient housing dump. Noisy Late night activities

Disgusting! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone! The room they put me in had vomit on the wall and window curtain! It was absolutely repulsive. Dirty, grimey, smelly, horrible. Had to get a refund and get out of there before my entire family needed to get a hepatitis shot! The wall in the hallway had vomit running down it! As if someone on the 3rd floor leaned over the balcony and threw up! Glad I didn't have to stay there. There's no way I would recommend staying in this dump, ever!

Check in was nice and easy with our reservations. We found a decent price online. The agents were polite and friendly. The Japanese restaurant they advertise had closed, that was a little disappointing. Our room however...bugs! Little black grasshoppers were coming in from outside. The door frame had a gap so you could see through to the outside. I liked the big King bed, but it was so hard and pillows were all soft and squishy. The pool would've been fun except there were leaves and tree debris floating and on the top and bottom. There was only one open entrance to the pool, which meant we had to walk back to the front (the entrance close to our room was locked). Kids toys were around the pool deck from some of the long term residents. Guests in the pool area with no armband, one drinking alcoholic beverages. We did see a few of the residents displaying behaviors in the parking lot that were unsettling. All in all I did not feel this was a place to stay again.

We only stayed here because all the other good hotels were booked. moving our daughter into USF. wanted to be close by but next time I'll drive 10 miles to find a decent hotel. this place was way past his prime even though it's been fixed up a bit. it's sort of like putting makeup on a pig.

When you make a reservation for any room make sure you get what you reserved. I reserved two queen size beds and they gave me two double size beds I went to the the front desk and asked the clerk he stated that is what I reserved. When your on vacation you don’t have time to read over the reservation. And because I checked out they told me they couldn’t do anything for me. Also the rooms smell like the carpets have not been shampoo for a long time. I will continue to write neg reviews till they treat there customers right.

YOU DO NOT WANT TO STAY THERE. When I checked in, I tried to convinced myself that it couldn't be so bad.... From the parking, the place looked suspicious. There was a door with key for you to access the stairs.... not clean and scary. Got to the room, and placed my bag on the bed. Coffee maker isnnot operational (seems like it has not been in quite some time). The safe was locked and I have to say the maintenance guy came in a timely manner to fix it, change battery and open it (not that I would ever recommend you put any valuables in there- was not planning to) Not even 5 minutes later, I am looking at a roach on the wall. I am so shocked I spent a couple minutes looking at it. I turn around and here is another one ON THE BED. I called the front desk amd told them I was not staying. Look closer... roaches on the bedside phone, the place is INFESTED!!! At over $100 per night, this is the worst place I have EVER stayed my entire life. The is no zero star, they would have gotten a 0.5 because the maintenance guy was timely and got the work done. Do not recommend

Very nice room, front desk staff was amazing and so was housekeeping. Me and my boys had a great time the whole weekend. My teenage son left his sneakers behind and they were kind enough to ship them back to me at my home address. Highly recommend and will stay there again

Rooms smelled really bad and very out dated. Before we showered or did anything I had to buy air fresheners and disinfectant spray. Showers has Nasty stains all over and the bed are rock hard. The only nice this about this place is their splash zone and swimming pool. Definitely will not be visiting again. I hated that I had my kids there. People are all over the place at all hours of the night and day.

Nice hotel a little musty smelling upon entry of the room however once the a/c was running there was not a trace of it. Clean and convenient the front desk gentleman at night was absolutely stellar, professional and kind! For a quick overnight stay it was awesome. A little sad I didn’t get to see the courtyard it looked amazing from what I could see.

Good hotel for location to Busch Gardens, Moffitt Cancer Center and the VA hospital and clinic. The hotel grounds are mature, lush and well maintained. Two pools, one for the kiddos and a large one for the adults. The room was clean, modern, up to date and thankfully, without odor. The staff was very friendly from the front desk to the maintenance and housekeeping. This hotel is not the Taj Mahal and doesn’t pretend to be. If you want the Hilton or Marriott, stay somewhere else. If you want a nice hotel for the money, this is the place.

Got this hotel on Priceline and it is no where near a 3 star hotel. Room was dirty and gross, maid services never came over my 2 night stay, and staff was very rude. There were also "mystery fees" called resort fees that were charged to my account after every night that were explained to me were "in the fine print," and I should have known about them.

If I could give it zero stars I would just do that. We checked in late this afternoon after a long day on the road. Upon arrival our room smelled musty and moldy, the carpet by the AC was wet, the fridge was unplugged, warm and water melted on the floor. My husband took a quick shower and the bath tub would not drain. We spent 20 minutes in the room packed our bags and went to the front desk for assistance in getting another room. The front desk lady told us that they couldn't give us a room until maintenance checked the room we were assigned. No management available. Us the customers were being inconvenienced by standing there waiting for maintenance to show up on a Friday night at 10 pm! All we wanted was another room. We ended up leaving. Horrible customer service. In the morning i will be calling the manager in the hopes that I won't get charged for a room i didn't use. Will not consider staying here ever again and will not recommend. Oh and some security is needed in the parking lot too. A lot of sketchy activity, people walking around asking for money, and who knows what.
