This location doesn’t deserve a star rating.. customer service sucks, the hotel was filthy and nasty. My husband and I checked in at 8:25 pm and we checked out at 10:15pm on the same night. My husband and I were almost attacked by a pit bull when we opened our hotel door. The people across the hall from us opened their door and the dog charged after us!! I was scared out of my mind!! We called the front desk and told them what happened and, he didn’t show any compassion needless to say we checked out immediately.. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel and people were hanging out all over the place.. I actually felt unsafe there from the moment we checked in. Save yourself the trouble and don’t book at this location

The first day I asked the front desk for a new room, they said they are all the same. The next day I told the front desk that their were ROACHES🪳 in my room and can I get a new room, they said we'll make a note for the manager and pest control and suggested that I go to the dollar store and purchase some bug spray. Day three, no one contacted me, I went back to front desk and complained about roaches again and seen that the not for the manager was gone but no service was provided. Me and my daughter stayed 7 nights very uncomfortably because we were constantly watching for bugs and killing them. I should at least receive a partial refund. The stay was very disgusting and the staff didn't even try to accommodate me. I also, have pictures. please see attached. the tv was barely working properly as well. Contacted corporate and still no courtesy, no refund, no nothing!

It was a last minute trip and I couldn’t change the location. The hallway floors and elevators were dirty and smelly. Room was worst. Am glad I take with my what I need to clean a room just so that a have peace of mind. And this room needed it. I thought I took a video but I guess I didn’t. The towel was what I use to mop the floor.

Had a awesome time working with the sales manager to ensure our team had 13 rooms booked at a great rate. Addie, the general manager, along with her staff were spot on and assisted my team with whatever we needed. Broken elevator is definitely a problem! Plenty eateries nearby, which makes the stay convenient. Thanks for everything.

Worst 5 minute experience ever! Right when you walk in reeks of cigaweed and cigarettes.Dried food over cabinets, cigarette butts in sink, toilet overflowing and to cap it off and pit bull running up and down the hall way! Owners need a whole new team because obviously management isn’t paying attention!

Worst hotel experience in my life. Started by waiting 20 mins for someone to show up at the front desk to check in. The elevator was out of order, the hallways smelled like mildew/cigarette smoke. Stairwell smelled like vomit. The room had been “cleaned” before I arrived but it was far from clean. The floors were covered in something slippery and greasy. I used one of the towels to clean a walkway from the bathroom to the bed and it was absolutely disgusting to see what came off the floor. I called the front desk to try and switch rooms but got no answer. I was tired from working all day so chose to just deal with it. The bathroom wasn’t much better, dirty counters and used wash cloth left on the side of the tub. I found food crumbs all over the floor and counters along with some more greasy stuff. Went by the front desk the next morning and there was a sign saying no one was there and had a number to call for assistance. What a joke of a business, the CEO should be ashamed of the way their business is being run. I will never stay at this brand again.

Everything about this place, minus the staff, was ABSOLUTE TRASH. GHET-TO!!!!!! The elevator doesn't work. Stairs are at the far end & the stairwell is gross. Place smells like smoke & urine. Hallways had pieces of trash all over. "Wood" floors in room were sticky. Roaches. I repeat, roaches. Security bar on room door was broken. Just don't waste your money or time

Worst place ever. Had a better time in orient jail. Do not give these people your credit card. They will charge you for extra weeks. They are truly a bunch of crooks here. Buyers beware. Especially garry the GM. Don’t know where he learned his manners. Don’t say you was not warned. This hotel gets 10 thumbs down.

This is one of the dirtiest places I've ever stayed in. Places like this should not be allowed to remain in business. The doors were full of holes, the vents and sink all rusted, the beds were not done properly, cockroaches all over the place, the carpets were all stained and the hallways really smelled. Absolutely disgusting. Please, DO NOT STAY in this place. All booking websites should remove it from their listings.

I stayed at this hotel recently and it was honestly the WORST hotel I have ever stayed in and I travel a lot especially for work. This hotel was my first encounter in Tampa. I have never been to Tampa before and this hotel really left a sour taste. I called initially because I was going to arrive later than I expected and wanted to make sure the reservation wasn't going to get canceled. Whoever answered the phone I presume from a call center, was rude and abrupt. He didn't ask for any information before hanging up. Whenever I got to the hotel, no one was at the front desk. I waited about 40 minutes before I finally got someone. There were 2 other parties waiting. The person who was tending to the front desk was in the parking lot smoking weed 🍃 that's why it took a while to find anyone. I used the phone at the front to contact someone, the gentleman called the front desk, to which I had to explain that we could hear the phone ringing because he called 3 different times. I thought he was maybe going to reach out to someone personally with a different contact number. When we finally got checked in, the elevator and hallway smelled absolutely horrible. I wish I could put it to words but one description was fish 🐟 It was just one of the many smells. When I got to my room it was nothing like the pictures online. I've stayed at the establishment before so it was nothing like what I expected. The beds, cabinets, everything! There were also roaches 🪳🪳 and blood on the walls and floor. Whoever is mopping the floors is using dirty mop water because the floors were also sticky. It looks like no one had actually cleaned the rooms. The 10 point inspection was a joke! When I pulled back the beds to check, there was hair and yellow stains on the sheets. I immediately walked back down stairs and requested a new room. The guy who checked us in kind of made a comment similar to — "well, what did you expect" when I told him that the rooms looked nothing like the pictures. The next room was pretty much more of the same. There were broken furniture. If I had read the reviews from Google, I would not have chosen this hotel. It was too late to try to look for another hotel. The only positive thing I can say is that the shower water was hot, the location is close by shops, and the manager (I presume) was really kind.

Hotel is very basic. Hallway & elevator smells. Stains in carpet from God knows what. Hotel serves snacks or grab& go items if you can get there by 9:30am. No coffee after breakfast hours. Room & bed felt like a dorm. Not impressed at all. The only good thing is the location was close to attractions.

We booked online, when we arrived the front desk told us they had trouble with their online booking and our reservation was canceled. That we needed to call and book over the phone. So we did and they told us they had one room left, more money then we paid online. We had no choice so we booked. We got to our room which smelled strongly of urine. The stove was missing a knob, blood splatter on the walls, the couch was tore up badly, and the room was dirty. That was the tolerable part. Then we discovered there was a terrible outbreak of black mold all over the bathroom. Needless to say we left. They did refund my money once I called customer service however they didn’t seem to care at all the condition of their rooms.

This is literally the absolute worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve been in lots of hotels all around the United States. specially for an extended stay in America and I’m very very disappointed. It smells so bad in the hallway in the rooms are not much better. Everything is filthy. Very very disappointed. You guys need to do better. On top of that I went to get some water around 1 o’clock in the morning because they don’t have anything downstairs besides halfway working vending machine and there was nothing that was open. All the gas stations were closed even though they were 24 hours.

When checking into an Extended Stay America Suites one must first realize that this isn’t your normal vacation type hotel. This hotel is intended for those who need it long term and services are catered to that type of stay. Not to say that a one or two night stay will not get you great service. This location is still in the process of becoming an ESA and meeting those standards after being taken over from Woodsprings. Every staff member I have encountered from the front desk, maintenance, and housekeeper have been extremely professional and attentive to any concerns I have brought to them. Housekeeping isn’t done daily and you’re told that along with other rules when checking in, no matter what time of day I have checked in or the fact that they have seen my face, unless I’m extending the property amenities and expectations are cited. The property is kept relatively clean to the best of staffs ability and daily deep cleans take place. The carpets in the hallways need to be replaced, but that’s somewhat normal given the use and type of hotel. The property sits in a prime location in the Tampa-Brandon area. The rooms are clean and come with a microwave, full size refrigerator with freezer. The beds are comfortable, the pillows can be upgraded or just bring your own, the 4th floor seems to have the best water pressure. The parking lot is safe and is brightly lite at night, the property has cameras that actually work the allows guest to feel safe a secure. The grab and go breakfast isn’t bad, it’s available from 6-9:30pm. Check out time is at 11 and you will get a nice professional courtesy call if you happen to sleep in.

It's not 5-star, you get what you pay for, and I was not trying to spend a lot of money for an extended stay. Pros: check-in was straightforward; sheets and room were clean; A/C, TV, Internet worked; there was working fridge, sink, microwave, stovetop. Cons: the shower! small and open bottom... The shower curtain didn't touch the floor so most of the BATHROOM floor got wet because water would just splash out of the shower under it. There were no basic kitchen utensils, so if you're gonna cook ANYTHING, bring your own pot/pan/fork/bowl/cup (not even a single cup in the room). Not the worst, I knew what I was paying for, it's not bad for $90 to $100 a night.

Dirty floors. Very different experience I would say. Would be very honest. I mean, rooms were okay to a certain standard. The cost cutting materials. I honestly stayed in there thinking it was a different hotel brand umbrella. But this place is honestly a true example of the saying. “You get, what you pay for”. Seriously.

If there was an option your zero stars I would rate it at that. It's more of a motel than hotel with people living there. They only offer maid service once every two weeks and there is a cost for that. Want daily linen exchange you're going to pay for it. This property should not be listed on any reputable companies website. The room was not properly cleaned, the hallway rugs looked as though they've never been cleaned. There front desk has hours, so you have to call a number in order to get someone to assist you. Also if you want to use an iron, you have to get it from the front desk. So you better hope that someone is there. The last straw was seeing a roach in the room. There were hairs from who knows who throughout different places in the room. I would never suggest this place to anyone. This place needs to be condemned.

The entire building smells very very bad. The elevator feels like it's going to fall. Stained sheets on the bed and stains all over the walls. Mold all over the bathroom. Someone or an animal urinated in the elevator on our last morning. I would have been better off sleeping at the jobsite. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.

I was supposed to stay here 3 days but I ended up switching hotels. It is not HORRIBLE, but the place smells pretty bad, is a mix of humidity and cigarettes. Checking in after 5 pm is a pain because there's not someone at the lobby at all times. I feel like most of the people staying here actually live here, the parking lot was pretty dirty and there's constant noise on the hallways from people getting out of the rooms. Again, not the worst hotel in the world but not near the greatest one either.. I would NOT stay here with my family..

I do not recommend this hotel. The screenshots of this location are very misleading. The elevator felt like it was going to come crashing down. The smell in the hallway was unbearable. The room's floor was sticky. It smelt like someone smoked in a room that was a non-smoking room. The bathroom door had holes as if someone punched them. The sheets had not been cleaned. The chair by the window was peeling. It did not give off vibes of a place that I wanted to stay at. I was utterly disappointed considering its location in a very nice area of Brandon-Tampa. I do not recommend this place.

Absolutely awful place to stay. Not once did we get housekeeping during the week me and my family were there and when we asked why, we were told they only do housekeeping once every 2 weeks and that it would cost $15 for them to come clean our room or even get clean sheets and towels. If you needed toilet paper, you have to catch a cleaning lady (which was rarely ever seen) or go down to the front desk before they close and ask for a roll. The beds were hard as a rock and only had 1 pillow per person. There were bugs crawling around in the bathroom and a huge roach by the window. There was also a hole in the bathroom door as if someone got mad and kicked it. The AC didn't get cold enough and gave off a musty smell. I would highly recommend no one staying here. Save your money and go to a better hotel.

The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was clean, modern and was nice all around (albeit the shower water pressure was weak). Other reviews mention that people live here full-time, which is probably true, but do realize this is an extended stay not a 5-Star resort. For the price and location (10-15 mins from the heart of Tampa) this hotel exceeds my expectations. The only reason for my rating is the mold is awful. You can smell it immediately walking into the hotel. If you are sensitive to mold, I wouldn’t advise staying here. I got increasingly sick each day I stayed. I ended up leaving early to another hotel because I just kept horrible mold sickness. Room 9/10 Staff/Guest Relations 10/10 exceeded my expectations Location 10/10 Environment 0/10.

This is by far the best place to stay in the area for the price the rooms were clean everything working and the staff super friendly and helpful especially diana in the mornings. The gm was great too. I had some work done on my house and me and my baby had to stay in hotels for about 3 weeks and having a stressful time staying here and the pleasantness of the staff and helpful attitude helped lesson the stress and hardship of having to be at the hotel

Be careful with this hotel chain. Booked a Sat night and they said when we arrived on Sat that our booking was the previous night. Desk clerk claims she couldn't do anything, and because we were a no-show, they were charging us full price for the night. Asked them to check their recorded phone call about the reservation, and they never got back to us. Shady operation who couldnt care less about customer service.

The inside was ok and clean. Would not bring children to this location. Very dirty outside. Trash cans always overflowing. Lots of people hanging around outside. We even encountered someone in an elevator that told us some weird stuff on the way to our floor. There is no breakfast and they dont change the towels or linens in the room unless you request it and there could potentially be an extra charge. The workers were not that friendly and this is a dog friendly hotel. All of the furniture in the room had bite and scratch marks. I would not stay here agian. There was 1 cockroach in the room. The bathroom shower curtain was too short and every time we used the shower the bathroom floded. I should have read reviews before i stayed here. For a small amount more you can stay at the Hilton a few mins up the road and they are always phenomenal.

Stained mattress cover and items left in room from previous occupants. Halls smelled like wet dog and carpets were very dirty. Front desk lady was nice and location is convenient several restaurants within walking distance. The "breakfast" they offer is coffee, oatmeal and packaged muffins

I was quoted over the phone that they allow cats and when I got to the front desk was told that they don't allow cats and was told to leave. I was also forced to pay for the night because it was after the 6p refund time limit 😑. Yeah, recommended an AB&B instead! don't waste your time here.

I wish the top floor was dedicated to smoking allowed rooms. Why not let people have a choice in how they live and make life choices. Tobacco was discovered in America and helped build this country and now pot is legal just put smokers on the top floor. You allow cats and litterbox stinking up the first floor. Newly acquired location by Extended Stay should consider it. Smokers loitering out in front of the main entrance with no where to sit down and relax doesn't look good and leads to the billion of cigarette butts all over the landscape. Charcoal air filters and smoke eliminator aerosoles (non-fragrance) sprays exist and work great these days of 2023. I also hope you gave raises to the 6 woman of color who been working there before the acquisition holding down the fort a familiar with the clientele and their habits. They deserve it and they are probably working harder now with all the improvements I saw started to get implemented like the breakfast area. Side note: question, with ESA expansion of brand across the country are there contact positions available such as Secret shopper stay review consultant. I think I would really be valuable asset and I am on the road in & out of hotels already and well educated. I would advise you create this such type of position and start negotiating salary terms to hire me immediately. I would like first assignment in or near Tennessee as I'm currently in Johnson City TN. up for much travel and road trip driving and seeing this beautiful country of ours and give thoroughly written review reports ideas storyboard and illustration coverage of my experience as consultant. Don't let yourself pass by a brilliant mind like me. FYI I can't do cubicles or office space lifestyle. Alrighty then. You can find me on the internet.

As soon as we got here we all progressively got sick with each passing day. I can’t breathe at all both my kids are sick with fevers along with me and my fiancé and haven’t gotten any better. Very hard to get ahold of anyone at front desk. Room was clean but I don’t think it was cleaned properly. As soon as we step outside the hotel we start to feel a little better. Still here for another few weeks and suffering every second. I really want a properly cleaned and disinfected room

I would never stay here again. Was not aware that this was an extended stay. Cannot get a phone signal, their free wifi sucks, constant noise and weirdos lurking outside. They charge for everything. Can't get clean towels or sheets unless you pay. Nice looking hotel from the outside but definitely not worth the money.

Great customer service. RaShonda accommodated me and my fur babies to get in early and even called to check on me after I arrived. Place has a few live in residents but it is an EXTENDED STAY hotel. Good area and only 5 minutes away from the mall and Walmart. 👍👍🙌🙌
