    I'd like to start by saying that I am usually very satisfied when staying at a Marriott owned property which is why I chose Marriott to celebrate my child's birthday, but this last experience was very disappointing and disgusting. When it was time for my child to take a shower she found a nasty surprise. While pulling a supposedly clean towel from the towel rack, a used blood filled sanitary pad fell from the towel. When we complained to the front desk their only solution was an apology and new towels. Upon checking out I asked to speak with a manager which I was told no manager was available. I even asked if she could call a manager because I feel like this is a serious situation that needs to be addressed quickly but the front desk clerk was very nonchalant and said nothing can be done until Monday. I feel as if my concerns were not a concern for the staff and all she was worried about was me settling my bill. I did not feel like a valued customer at all. My child and myself are very disgusted by the lack of properly cleaning and preparing our room as well as the lack of empathy and concern for being exposed to someone else's body fluids during our stay. I definitely will not ever book a stay at this location ever again. I wish I could give 0 stars!!!

    I was looking for this place just to see what pillows they used because they were some of the most comfortable ones I have ever used. I stayed here a couple of years ago when no other hotels had vacancy. The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. I definitely will be staying here again when I head into the area.

    Spacious room. Clean and daily cleaning service provided. Comfortable bed and pillows. Hot water takes a few minutes to arrive, but it’s worth the wait. Rates comprable to area.

    The rooms are big and spacious. The staff is friendly, honest and helpful. The breakfast is pretty yummy and abundant. Room service is quick and the whole scenery is pretty chill. There arent any balconies but you can open the window.

    They treat VETERANS like TRASH ... on Veterans Day too! DO NOT STAY HERE! This location canceled my reservation 3 times and I was left stranded with a minor at 5am in the morning, knowing that I was headed to the hotel!! I made a reservation for Nov 9, for 2 nights. I called the hotel to let them know that my flight was delayed, and I was told by the extremely non-friendly guest services in the hotel reservation that my reservation was canceled because my card declined. I knew she was lying because the card given was my bank card and they were zero attempts to charge the hotel nights. She claimed that she did her night audit and couldn't re-do my reservation. I then called the 1-800 for Marriott, they made another reservation for the same location. I did the pre-check in. After driving 2 hours from Orlando, I arrived at the hotel to again be informed by the rude guest services that she canceled my reservation because after her audit she can't check anyone in. I told her that for years without an issue, I have been checked in early hours. I requested an email or phone number for a superviso. she mentioned that they are privately owned and would not give me the information I requested. I called again the 1-800 for Marriott and they called the hotel and the guest services for the location LIED, she said that she was almost done with her night audit, when she informed me 4 hours prior that she was finishing her audit!

    The hotel was great to work with for our wedding group. Clean, great location, breakfast included and was a good variety, friendly staff, no issues. I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing to stay in the area or for groups.

    I've stayed in Marriotts almost exclusively for 3+ decades. I'm a Gold Bonvoy member. I'm about done. This is the 3rd consecutive unfavorable review I've written in a few months. As in other recent Marriott brands, in Brandon there are too few outlets and USB ports (1). There was no TV remote in the room. I would have called the desk but the room phone did not work - pretty sure that's some kind of code violation. The soda machines were empty of the choices I wanted. I checked on 3 floors. Bought one at the desk. The $1.50 bottle in the empty machine was $3.00 at the desk. One machine took 2 of my dollars but only returned one. We had a room with a fold out bed, but no pillows or cases for that bed. One of the sheets for that bed was ripped. All this is unacceptable for a $290 room. Guessing with 1.4 million rooms and 8000 properties, they are just too big. Too bad. Bye bye Marriott.

    Worst management ever Room uncomfortable, the beds are double, not queen. The sleeper sofa was the worst I've ever. My 16 year old had 5 horrible nights. As did I. Asked front desk mgr. Day 1, ti switch rooms, or at least mattress in the couch. Not even a call back. Day 3 asked the general manager. Told me they don't promise queen beds or sofa beds. ( All other spring hill suites do) i asked at least another mattress to stack on top. Never did anything about it. Breakfast buffet?? Sad!! They need to at least learn to cook scrambled eggs. Thank God for jimmy dean sausage biscuits! I will be disputing charges and complaining to corporate. So much for bonvoy.

    I had a very pleasant stay. Marriott continental breakfasts have taken a downturn this year though. On all brands.

    First, the staff was amazing! They helped with a situation with patience and understanding! A +++ for ladies at check-in! The breakfast was awesome, and the two ladies worked hard to keep it following and did with smiles on their faces! A+++ for them! The room I was disappointed in for the price I paid for it. Felt the room, needed updating. The sink and shower were both lukewarm, the sliding door didn't work, etc. The ice machine didn't work. This could be due to the hotel being booked completely.

    The only reason I’m rating this property a 4 is because the front desk manager is amazing her name is Cherry .I travel a lot and I know that things can go wrong I had an issue with the water which was fix but this manager was amazing so professional so helpful she not only compensated me for my inconvenience but she enrolled me in the Marriot rewards with points very professional and honest trust me she is the best thing that happened to this hotel. When things go wrong it’s important to have a Cherry as a Manager

    We had a nice pleasant stay here. Everyone was in a good mood, our room was clean and spacious and I got a few hours of comfy sleep. I would like to call out three employees who went above and beyond. Ken was very gracious and helpful when I checked in. He’s from Key West like my wife and also enjoys coffee! Tamia was also helpful and gracious. Yoga was the topic! And finally, Yvonne in the breakfast room was very gracious and friendly and helpful. Thanks for being in a good mood and making our stay the best it can be! Life is good at Springhill Suites Brandon!

    Located close to expressway. Room very big, separate sofa, wet bar ,microwave, mini fridge. Safe area with a gas station right in the corner. Excellent breakfast good selection of hot food eggs, sausages, waffles , cereal, bread, muffins, coffee ,tea etc.

    The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean. Surprisingly, the breakfast had good cage free eggs and real shredded cheese as an option. Fantastic location for any essential needs, too. We will choose this place again.

    Room was great shared with 5 people. The receptionist helped me find a place I was supposed to be and dining area by printing out the directions since my phone died and had to buy another charger after leaving mine back home. Nice location, great breakfast, and outdoor pool because it was very hot as fast as the weather.

    Amazing hotel with wonderful amenities and great staff starting with general manager. We only had a problem with crystal the front desk clerk. Everyone said she would be better in the back of the house because of her mean and uncheerful attitude and demeanor. We prayed for her and hope she gets the help she needs. Fantastic place other than that.

    Great Location but an outdated hotel with dirty carpets and ripped up couch cushions. The complimentary breakfast is subpar to say the least and the do not refill “hot” items such as bacon or sausage but have an unlimited supply of nasty egg quiches. Wouldn’t stay here again. Worst Marriott hotel

    Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Stayed for a week and price changed every day. Over charge my credit card upon check out. Front desk staff was rude and non caring. Differently will be disputing all charges. Do not recommend staying HERE!!!!!! P. S. Refrigerator was broken and toilet stop up at 10pm and had to wait until 10am to HAVE IT unstopped. Worst experience EVER......

    I would not recommend this hotel. The front desk staff is not friendly or hospitable, the hotel elevator was out of service & the one available for service needed serious improvements. Room service staff was friendly & nice, the beds & pillows are comfortable and nice quality, and the hotel lounge area is nice. Overall it’s the poor customer service that I can’t deal with & broke/ elevator issues.

    We had a great stay. The beds are comfortable. We moved from the country inn next door.. a big difference.. The staff was wonderful. I left my phone when we checked out.. We came back in about an hour and it was turned in by the maid.. so thankful any time we are 8n Tampa we will be booking out room here..
