WONDERFUL! We came in rather late for a check in and it was the assistant manager running the counter. She was helping a party ahead of me, but opened another computer just to help us both at the same time! I was shocked, I never get that service from a hotel. She was super friendly and efficient. Our room was on the second floor and was very clean and comfortable. The door was a bit difficult to shut, but that was the only issue. The breakfast was great as well. Biscuits and gravy, fruit, cereal, bagels, etc... The hotel was in a great location too, very close to food and the highway. We only stayed two nights but we will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Filthy, poorly ran, they didn't clean our room for three nights, due to short staffed. The crime rate is 65% higher than the national average in the area. No smoking policy, but the 1st room smelled like covered up cigarette smoke. Asked for blankets, I was promised they would bring them down at 10 pm when peer showed up for work; we never got the blankets. I could go on and on. My best advice: DO NOT STAY HERE! The only reason we stayed three nights was because we were playing in a Flag Football game, and you had to stay in hotels they chose to play. The extra security lock was half broken on the wall, mold in the bathroom. My husband and I both came home sick. They also charged us $531 for three nights when the regular rate is $71 a night. I forgot the hidden hole under the shade in the roo.

I loved the front desk staff Archie is a pleasure and went above and beyond fillingme in on how to reedem the rewards. I did have a concern with how dirty the rugs were in the room. It was not sanitized at all, i had to wash my feet anytime I walked around. I know next time to bring some shoes or slipers. Both sides of the wash cloth just aweful.

I was a little disappointed in the small double beds. Beds were extremely firm, too hard for me, but the blankets/duvet were incredible and the 4 pillows on each bed were huge & fluffy, so once we cuddled down into all that fluff, it was easier to ignore the mattress for 1 night. Our bathroom sink was cracked down the middle. Otherwise the room was fine and I had absolutely no issues with cleanliness or critters. The outlet by the wall was outdated and wouldn't hold anything unless you pinched the 2 pieces of your plug together. I wish it had been a little warmer so we could have enjoyed the pool (was in the 60s, too cool for us Florida natives). There's an iHop in the same parking lot. Right off the highway and not far from Busch Gardens. Breakfast was fantastic and we stayed here because they were literally the only place in my budget that had hot breakfast. Eggs, sausage, waffle maker, yogurt & fruit, toast, bagels & pastries, oatmeal & cereal, coffee & juice. The evening shift change were polite and worked quickly, but it was Archie simultaneously working the morning checkout desk and attending the breakfast counter that really impressed me. He was kind and friendly and went above & beyond to serve everyone. Even refilling coffee cups at our tables!

I was one of 12 buses moving summer camp kids for a large church. We stay in a hotel so we can reset our driving time. This is about the third time I've stayed here and there has never been a problem. Plenty of room for the bus with an IHOP in the parking lot. Worth the money.

This is an older hotel, but they continue to refurbish it. The new room renovation looks great. Rooms are always clean, front desk folks always go above and beyond for us guests, breakfast was good hot, and a good selection of food. What else can I say it is on of the best hotels on the west coast of Florida. Perfect for the family, and you get more bang for you buck, all these little things they do for guests is the reason I've been staying there for years, and will continue too.

I recently stayed in Ramada while visiting Tampa for a concert at Raymond James stadium (Ed Sheeran<3). Ramada was inexpensive and just 30mins away from the stadium. Honestly, because it was a 2 star hotel, I didn't have the highest expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. I only stayed for one day, but I would actually stay at Ramada again. Though the room needed some updating and the bathroom was quite small, the beds were clean and the hotel was about 100ft from IHop. Also, the customer service was really good. Minutes after my family and I settled into the room, the front desk called to see if we had settled in ok. I've never had a front desk call to check on me before. I thought that was nice. And I read reviews about flying bugs, and yes, I did see one or two gnats, but I'll take that over bed bugs and roaches any day, so it wasn't really a red flag for me. Also, despite iHop being a few ft away, there was complimentary breakfast, which was nice and hot. Based on my one day stay, I'd give this hotel 3.5 stars but since that's not possible, I'll round up. My rating is largely based on the fact that I've been to hotels that charge more and have higher ratings but offer less, meaning no fridge, no comped breakfast, and yet they have fees for everything.

The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at… let’s start with how dirty this place is .. first of all roaches in the room.. furniture dirty with stains in them.. after I asked to change rooms they send me to a room where the lights don’t work.. and go back and they send me to another room that was used and not clean .. when I walk in I see a guests clothes still on the floor.. third times the charm right? Finally got me in their king suite and was average. They’ll do anything but give you a refund .. DO NOT BOOK PICTURES ARE DECEIVING!

I drove down last minute for the bowl game New Year’s Day formally called the Outback Bowl and I was happy to find this hotel on the outskirts of Tampa after a long 10+ hour drive. Booking was easy but I had to pay a $100 deposit upon checking in. Only reason not giving a 5 is beds are pretty firm and the air conditioner was a little bit on the noisy when it did cut on and off.. Wish it had stayed on all night vs cutting itself on and off all night waking me up. I was hot for much of the night, but wasn’t there long other than to get a couple hours of rest before kick off. The breakfast wasn’t to good at all at the hotel… they had Crockpot cooked eggs and sausages. I went to another one of these same hotels in Lexington KY and the breakfast was the highlight of that hotel but not this one sadly. IHOP was next door to this hotel but I elected to wait and eat at the game. Overall it’s nice place to crash at a pretty decent price. Check in staff was prompt and got me checked in very quickly which is great as I was tired.

Whenever I went it sucked because the first room had no TV it was stolen and the room smelled like someone smoked 6 packs in there and the hotel is supposed to be 100% smoke free . Then they moved us to another room and it was pretty good but the bathroom you would not even go in there. And the only reason that I gave a 2star is because the second room and the pool the staff were really nice 👌 🙂

Zero stars!! Cancel your booking NOW! This motel is beyond just out dated. Skip the aesthetics. The carpet was so sticky and dirty we had to keep our shoes on and leave our bags on top of the beds. All flat surfaces had burn marks and the room smelled of cigarettes!! The bathroom was infested with gnats. Awful. Save your $150 and go elsewhere!!

I'm not sure if we had an old or a refurbished room but I did not enjoy our stay here. The positives are the water pressure, easy access to interstates and highways, the employees, the working heater, and the easy parking. The negatives are the little sleep we got due to being able to hear all the surrounding doors slam shut and people walking by talking. The beds were not comfortable and the carpet felt gross. The ceiling above the shower head was discolored and missing a couple of layers due to water damage. I'm not sure what needs more soundproofing (the doors? The windows? Both?) but the only people who will enjoy their stay here are ones who are very hard of hearing and can sleep anywhere.

The furniture is dated but it was a great hotel I would definitely stay here again when I’m in town! Fantastic hot breakfast pool is well kept and clean.

I'm giving the Ramada at Temple Terrace/Tampa North 5 stars... not because it's a 5-star hotel (it's listed as a 2-star property), but because for a low-priced hotel they're doing everything right. First, I really enjoyed my interactions with Cecelia, with the morning staff. She was friendly and made me feel welcome & at home. All the staff I interacted with were friendly and professional, but Cecelia was especially conversational and I like that. My bed was comfortable (not too soft), the room was immaculately cleaned, the water was almost too hot, the shower drained properly, and the room had good lighting (no horrible CFL's with yellowish light). Yes, it's an older property and the rooms are a little dated, but they're very well maintained. I've stayed in hotels a quarter of this building's age that were in much worse shape. They take care of their property and it shows. This Ramada should be listed as a 3-star property, with 5-star service! I enjoyed my 3-night stay.

Good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. The drains all worked (no standing in your shower water waiting for it to drain as sometimes happens in older hotels). Comfortable bed with nice updated linens. Sizeable mini fridge. Microwave & coffee maker. Plenty of storage. Great breakfast spread and functional fitness room. Not a new facility, but clean and well maintained.

I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Busch Gardens. Very close by with a very fair rate. Furniture is a little worn. All appliances were in working order and the room had all the necessities I required. Very quiet place. Staff was professional and quick.

Room was musty/musky smelling, chair looked like it had some stories to tell. Half painted, saw two roaches go up wall while in bathroom. Didnt take shower cause it looked like it ceiling was about to fall. Complained to manager, no apology, just excuses. She then kicked us out of lobby, a told to never come back. Got a hunch this is not a corporate hotel, but corporate is going to hear about what these people are doing under thier name. Complained to manager. Update/response to response We were offered $20 ($10 each room compensation). We paid $120 for rooms that were advertised on your own site for $67, given excuse your under construction. And were advised of this. Yes, we were advised that LOBBY was under construction. (Explains all the dust. Apologize again??? Never once did you attempt to apologize, talked over or not. Manager needs serious customer service training, or perhaps should consider another line of work.

This hotel was in the area I had to be for those days so we took it. The bed and ac were the only highlights to this room. There was a weird wet smell in the room, mold and rust marks. Also the carpets are filthy I took my socks off just to go to the shower and not even 5 minutes my feet were black. Room service came every day just to give fresh towels but that's it

The place was a nightmare to get off the exit and the rooms had a mildewy bathroom smell. The laundry room needs some attention big time..Management reached out to me and apologize for the inconvenience and from me that goes a long way.

This place is disgusting and not worth the money even on a budget. The rooms are gross and smell of cigarettes and Marijuana (that's the no smoking room) I would give it less than a star if I could. The staff was kind, until I checked out 15 minutes after checking in. Stay away from this place, don't let the Wyndham name fool you. Stay away!

We stayed here for one night while we were in Tampa for Hallowscream at Busch Gardens. The place was clean. In a good neighborhood. The breakfast was spot on and stayed stocked the whole time. We will definitely be back here.

$100/night (plus 3k Wyndham points) for a tiny room (153) that smells like a gas station urinal. Gross. Most of the furniture is beat to hell and should've been thrown out years ago. No stopper in the tub, had to use a plastic bag. Also no hot water in the AM, just warm. There is barely enough room between the desk and the chair to squeeze your body in. It's basically Motel 6 with a nicer TV. My second time here, and it's going downhill fast. Adding one star for the sweet lady at the front desk. She's the only good thing about this dump.

From the minute my daughter and I walked in we knew we landed at the right place. She is a relocating nurse and did not know the area at all and after being very disappointed at the hotel she booked on line we were exhausted from trying to find another at the last minute. Shawna at the front desk was amazing! So helpful and put us at ease. She seen how upset my daughter was and reassured her that her extended stay by herself would be a safe one. It was quiet, the room was very clean the lobby and the breakfast was great. Archie was the morning desk person and he was every bit as nice. I left there feeling everything was going to be alright! Ty Ramada.

I always enjoy my stay at this Ramada! Big shout out to Kim at the front desk. She always goes the extra mile to take care of Ramada guest. Courteous and helpful to all. She has breakfast cooked and ready for the 6am start every morning. Its always great. Keeps lobby clean and in order. Check in and out is always quick. If you encounter a problem (which I have not) she will do what she can to make it right. Just don't see service like this to often! Much appreciated! Thanks for the clean and quiet rooms also. Look forward to my next stay.

Unless you absolutely must be beside the i 75 for travel/access or, like me, convenient pick up; then I have to say AVOID this motel (it’s not a hotel as the listing claims). The lad on late afternoon shift on the reception desk is less than helpful and less than articulate in English. Which is a shame because the two morning members of staff on both days were very polite and helpful. But they are usually gone but the check in time. If you have bags and are allocated an upper level room; there are no elevators and no assistance with bags was offered. The rooms are adequate at best. Many faults and damaged items like shower controls and broken safes. And the continental self service breakfast is less than rudimentary. There is an IHOP across the parking lot (which they did not mention) and as a foreign visitor is not immediately evident as a diner. If you have to eat… go there or prepare a pack lunch. I cannot recommend the Ramada and will not be using it again.

The staff is really sweet. The breakfast is good. (they have eggs and sausage, many hotels don't have any protein) Don't trust the cleanliness of the carpets. My feet were so black from walking around my room barefoot! Lots of little bugs in my room. Bedding, bathroom, and counters seemed clean.

I have tried to correct this without writing a negative review but I can't seem to get anywhere. We recently stayed at this hotel and had a horrible experience. Within 30 min of entering our room my daughter starting having terrible allergies. By morning she felt pretty bad. We were in town for a lacrosse tournament and he had several games to play. When we returned to the hotel the symptoms got worse. Another player from our team sent her a picture of the dirt they found in their bed skirt. That prompted my daughter to look at our beds. There was MOLD all over her bed that she was sleeping in. There was mold on the other bed as well. I went to the front desk to talk to somebody. Francisco offered to switch us rooms. We had to haul all of our luggage upstairs to another room, no elevators. That room had not been renovated yet. The beds were awful and should have just slept on the floor. I went to the front desk the next morning and that is where I met Blanche. Blanche was anything but helpful. She tried to tell me the mold was coffee stains first. I said ma'am it is fuzzy. The head of housekeeping was standing there as well. She looked briefly at the pictures but not very interested. I tried to show Blanche more, but she was not interested. They offered to clean the original room (moldy room) and send us back there! NO THANK YOU! They thought if the beds were clean it would be OK. So they offered a THIRD room. This one, downstairs again. So here we go hauling our luggage back down the stairs. I told Blanche I believed I should be compensated for what we slept in and now my daughter is pretty sick. She did not agree. She gave me points to my Wyndham account. I don't want points, I did not pay in points. I want my hard earned money back for the filth we slept in. And the aggravation of it all. We ended up cancelling our reservation for the last night due to the hassle of it all and the disappointment. Nobody has been helpful. They all tell me, sorry, points is all we can do. It is unacceptable. This hotel is gross, rude employees, and the company backs it all up.

A very nice place with very nice staff. The room could have used a little TLC in that the carpet needed to be replaced and the bathroom door was swollen so much it dragged on the floor and wouldn't shut. The amenities were nice and the decor was very pretty.

All staff were extremely friendly from house keeping to mamagement. The lobby is welcoming. My room was clean, smelled fresh, had many pillows and towels. Breakfast is provided, wifi worked well, swimming pool is well maintained as are the grounds. Its in a quiet safe area. Conveniently, IHOP is only a few steps away. I recommend it and would be happy to stay there again.

The only reason I don't give 5 ⭐ is because of parking. Everyone that's works at this hotel is so nice. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are clean. I'll be staying here when I return.

Never try this location! Yes, we got the group price, only 15x USD per night, but the experience is so much funny. We come to Tampa for tournament this weekend and the tournament office provided this one for our team and some teams of our club. I never saw a hotel since 1990s. Our teammate parents didn't agree my point: they said they didn't see a hotel as this since 1980s... All the surface need to be cleaned by wipers: looks not be cleaned for months, not days or weeks. All furniture in room are all needed to be replaced, and air is full of odd smell. Lucky, only two nights and not easy to switch to other hotels as our teammates at a peak weekend: their room is much worst than ours and totally unacceptable.

The room. Was ok. Not a typical Ramada. More like a motel. Check in was fast easy and friendly. Not far at all from Busch Gardens. Great location for that. The only issue was the beeping smoke detector, we were given a new room, cause of no maintenance on hand to fix the issue. Next room was ok.

Room was comfy but missing soap, shampoo and coffee. Doors on outside of building. Unfortunately our room was in front of car park where pick up truck had 4 men drinking on back of van directly on front of door. Very drunk. Hotel unable to prevent that but agreed to move us to another room as we felt very uncomfortable

Hit and miss on your feedbacks. Service was great when we went in. We got help from hurricane disaster. A Tree hit the house. So kinda got to go whoever available. There's lots of stuff near by. Winn Dixie I hop. By Busch gardens next few miles over. Room had microwave and fridge. Glad for that. Can't complain on our in. We keep it clean ourselves just ask for bed sheets and towels next day. It stays busy bc what's it near. So good luck getting a room.

As a recovering Stage 3 colon cancer patient, Marcus who checked me in was so friendly, kind and understanding. This hotel is close to Moffitt and has patient rates. I’ve stayed before. He really tried to make sure I was comfortable. The room smelled like wet, moldy urine and was so humid, even the AC wouldn’t make it go away. I’ve stayed here before and hoped the smell would go away. I didn’t even shower it was so humid in the room, I didn’t think i would dry enough to go to bed. When I returned the next day to question the $100 charge, Blanche was about as friendly as a razor blade, more like barbed wire, raising her voice and confrontational. I did not raise my voice nor shout. She SAID VERY LOUDLY READ THE FINE PRINT WE CHARGE $100 FOR INCIDENTALS. I said no, the email I received said my total charge would be $98.98. I said I would be giving a bad review, dispute the charge and contacting management. Only when I started walking out did she shout in a snarky tone that I would be refunded in 5-7 days. I said why didn’t you say that in the first place? She said because I was yelling. Mind you, I did not raise my voice nor curse. I was curt and firm in my question and asked it twice. I also asked her why my room smelled like piss and told her it was because of the other white trash that lived there (in full transparency of the conversation) Again, I did not raise my voice at all. Blanch needs to be demoted because she is not a good fit for the friendly front desk person. At the very least, she needs to be taught manners. She wasn’t even smiling when I walked in nor did she greet me in a friendly manner, for that matter, she didn’t greet me at all. Perhaps she should go to congeniality training to be less acerbic. The night before, Marcus greeted me as soon as he could when he saw me walk in. The breakfast was fantastic. There are other places for me to stay the next time. The breakfast wasn’t good enough to make me change my mind.

The carpet was soaking wet outside of the bathroom, when we told the girl at the front desk about it, she acted like it was no big deal. I feel for $154.00 we should have had a dry carpet, and at least someone who acted like they cared. I recommend that they put a fan in there to try to dry it.

The Assistant General Manager, Blanche Wade, was working the front desk when I checked in. She was very rude and condescending from the start. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The refrigerator in our room wasn't plugged in and we didn't realize it until it was too late. Food ruined and drinks hot. Ants in the bathroom. Not clean at all.

Buckle up, this is a long one. Booked this place for a mini vacation. Eric the maintenance guy was great. Set up the pack and play for my 2 year old and even brought up special blankets to make her more comfortable. The next morning we had to change rooms due to an unexpected issue and the front desk staff (Archie and Fransisco) were amazing, even tho the hotel was sold out (spring break week) they managed to get us into a new room. They truly went above and beyond. The morning maintenance guys Robert and Josh brought the pack and play from our old room for us and we're very kind. Breakfast is the same every day but it's decent and has 2 waffle makers. Water pressure in the showers is awesome. Toiletries in the room were named brand and smelled good. Room was spacious and had plenty of storage for our things. The pool area looked nice and well maintained but it was too cold during our visit to use it. The hotel itself is a little run down and could use updating, but I will stay here again because of the INCREDIBLE staff.

Recently renovated with a larger indoor breakfast seating area. Service is pleasant, but inconsistent. We had maid service come maybe every 2 or 3 days. The second maid service she sprayed what I assume was insecticide in the room which we had to air out for hours to bring the chemical smell down. Breakfast options are the same every day. Make-your-own waffles are a highlight. Free coffee available 24/7 is drinkable. Location is excellent and rates are on the less expensive side. No refunds or discounts under any circumstances, so be sure before you book.

Just a one night stay while we visited Busch Gardens. It’s a very nice place. The room was clean, the bed firm (which we like), the shower was hot and plenty of water pressure, the breakfast buffet about standard and it started at 6am which fits our schedule nicely. Not luxurious, but very nice. Will stay here again.

We travel with an older couple on a fixed income so book at reasonably priced hotels. Ramada used to be a great place to stay. First of all, the carpet was filthy. My white socks were black on the bottom and it felt gross. The air conditioner was making a loud grinding noise and not working. We had to wait all day for someone to put a new one in. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful but all in all it was not a comfortable experience and we won’t be staying there again.

I don't like to write bad reviews the girl at the front desk (02/26/2023 10:00pm) was perfectly polite and delivered an outstanding welcoming to the hotel. The room was beautifully organized and looked clean, so no complaints for housekeeping. The problem here is a poor management unable to keep pest control, there were tinny roaches in the bathroom, and under the sink. Room 103. Please perform a deep cleaning procedure and pest control protocols.
