This is a great coffee shop. The staff is extremely friendly. There were two guys working when we went. Super nice and helpful. They have plenty of options when it comes to coffee and pastries. There is plenty of room inside and even has outdoor seating. They also have other things for sale like gifts, wine, and more. I would definitely return.

I’m from Texas and landed here on Davis Island through corporate housing. After a long night shift of critical care I happened to drive by the coffee bar thinking I would get the usual fast food muffin or breakfast sandwich. Travel over 4 years, I try new things which brought me to the Cuban Sandwich. My taste buds exploded with the first bite. This hearty sandwich is decadent and lasts me two meals. The sandwich is enough to keep me coming back alone, but what better than to have the million dollar smiles of warmth and charisma from Justin and Ryan. Without fail, Justin and Ryan give superior customer service. Working over 60 hours a week, I can visit DI without disappointment. My time away from work is valuable for relaxation to refuel and I would not be spending any of it here with you if that sandwich hadn’t been so dang delicious. Oh and the place is spotless, it matters ya’ll, but that Cuban sandwich…mmmmmmyum.

This is the cutest and coolest coffee shop I’ve been to. They have products from candles, wine, ball caps, cards, cups and more. The inside has small seating area, a patio in the back and in the front. You have to order your food outside and then they’ll call your name. We got the pesto on Cuban no ham and lays plain chips. Our sandwiches were so good with left no crumbs for the birdies. And my caramel iced latte had the perfect balance of bitterness and sweetness(don’t like my coffee sugar down). We will definitely be back for a pastry to try…And they have live music on Fridays

Love going to Davis Islands Village and getting an hour or two of work in with a great cup of Cafe con Leche. Awesome atmosphere, service and treats.

Excellent coffee — some of the best in the area. Really great food menu, too (love the breakfast sandwich on Cuban bread and the crispy side of toast!) Really appreciate the turnaround time after ordering, this team works quickly. Ample seating inside & out for the many guests that frequent this place, with a nice mix of covered high & low tops outside. Wonderful staff, too — they are always so sweet to my baby girl!

The place is a great place with wonderful staff. The food was tasty! 😋 You have to check out wine tasting station. They had great wine selections from California to France/Italy/Germany.

After a sunrise near tampa's oldest airport I was looking for a coffee place to have a quick coffee as well as breakfast. I searched for a coffee bar near me and came across DI Coffee Bar. It is an amazing and wonderful cafe with different coffee options and breakfast to eat. After browsing through the menu I decided to order Americano and Cuban Toast. I didn't had to wait much for the order and I got my order in 5 minutes. The coffee was hot and brewed properly. Loved my morning coffee and toast.

Second timer & finally got to sit inside to enjoy the atmosphere. It was pretty good. Very chill, calm vibes. Good for studying & relax but there isn't much outlets. There's free wifi. Parking is free street parking. Food was soild 10/10. Got their 16oz iced Cafe Con Leche & Cuban pesto, pepper jack cheese (I believe). Service was amazing, staff was very friendly. Coming back soon for that coffee 👌

I’ve been a barista for almost 5 years now and this by far is one of my favorite local coffee shops in Tampa! The coffee is delicious, the pastries/food options are fresh, and the atmosphere is amazing! Definitely a must try if you haven’t already!

Great Coffee shop! After lunch I stopped in for a coffee. Their Cafe con Leche was so good. The coffee was smooth and not bitter. There were plenty of options for snacks and goodies, even wine bottles for sale, but I was too full to indulge. Dress is casual, staff is friendly, and prices are fair.

We ordered quick lattes for the road and they were delicious! Will stop by again for those tasty looking pressed sandwiches and maybe grab some Panther coffee beans too.

DI Coffee Bar is a hopping place for coffee, pastries, breakfast, lunch and more. There's an interesting mix of retail items, such as beer, wine, vinegar, nuts, candles and believe it or not, insect repellent. The concept of ordering outside at the front of the establishment, works well for those on the go or sitting at the outside tables. For the others inside or in the back patio, this might be a challenge. Hot food remained at the counter as patrons who sat inside or in the back patio, were unaware their order was ready. Perhaps the regular customers know the routine, but for newbies, beware. Overall, it's worth the visit to what might be considered the only true coffee shop on Davis Island.

The ambiance is AMAZING. There's a patio in the back, where they have fire pits and space heaters and a bunch of casual seating. And occasionally live music! The inside area has a decent amount of seating, nicely structured for people who want to get some work done at a table. The front also has some tables for quick outdoor seating, and you can order from an outside facing window. Now, the disappointment for me was the matcha and grilled cheese I got. The matcha latte was not matcha enough, and slightly sweet. I got a 16oz, and it felt like a quarter of the cup was just foam. I had them strengthen the matcha, and even then, just barely got a taste of the matcha. Not sure if that matcha they use isn't high quality/potent or they just don't put enough. The grilled cheese was also disappointing. Ok rosemary sourdough, but the literal only taste I got from the sandwich was cheese, and not a strong, "stinky" one - just normal plain cheese. I found it hard to eat and was expecting a little bit of a punch somewhere, but that might've just been me and I should've ordered something else. The sourdough was still good, but the cheese overpowered it.

Nice ambiance to read/work or socialize. I frequented this place for their delicious sandwiches and notice their cuban sandwich has really changed from what it used to be. My bread was so hard and burnt like a pizza crust. I also recommend offering fruit options in lieu of chips. The ready made salads would have been a good choice!

Fantastic local spot for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner. Coffee is superb and the food is delicious, especially the Lox and Bagel! I first visited in 2016 and have always made a point to stop in whenever I’m in Tampa.

Loved the walk up coffee bar, inside is well curated with Nick nacks from the area and decor is great. Staff was wonderful and happily answered my questions. Espresso was delicious!

This is my favorite coffee in Tampa! I love the atmosphere. Sometimes ordering at a coffee bar can be overwhelming - but the staff always guides me. They are always patient and kind, too!

First time visiting to meet up with a colleague and I was excited to try a new coffee spot. Customer service is subpar here. The girl working was unpleasant as I first walked up. Took awhile to be acknowledged while standing directly in front of the register to order chocolate croissants. A guy was standing there writing down an order and didn’t even say I’ll be right with you. It then took way too long to get them. When I did receive my croissants they were burnt. As someone who has worked as a barista as my first job, that experience was unpleasant. You can tell the workers are not happy to be there and barely mustering up the energy to serve customers. The layout is cramped and chaotic inside. I don’t know how anyone could feel comfortable working there but to each their own.

This was such a wonderful find..my wife and I went on a date to visit Davis Island and a few spots in South Tampa as we used to live down there for a short time. We loved it then and found we were disappointed with some of the old stops, but then we found this place. The atmosphere is perfect for a quiet, relaxed time with a spouse or friend. The charcuterie board was cheap and delicious. The 2nd best Cuban sandwich in Tampa was maybe the best. I just love that they say it's the 2nd best. We had an iced herbal tea which was also delicious. I think we spent about $35 for the two of us on a drink, the sandwich, and the charcuterie. Not cheap, but not overpriced. Money well spent and it made for a beautiful time with my wife. Afterward, we went down to walk and sit by the bay.

This place has good food, good coffee, friendly staff, and a pretty cool location. However, as others have said, this place takes forever to get anything. Don’t come here if you are in a rush or expect anything quick. I only come here for leisure coffee when time isn’t of importance or I’m planning to get work done here.

If you are expecting a specialty coffee shop, you will be disappointed. When I ordered a cappuccino I was offered 12 oz or 16 oz and had to request it be 8 oz. Espresso was not properly dialed in and milk was steamed incorrectly. It seemed that the barista had little training and little knowledge of craft coffee preparation. Bar area and machine were filthy. In addition, service is incredibly slow and a bit disorganized.

I just found this coffee shop yesterday and loved it so much I decided I had to come back again today! Although I have only gotten their coffee, the concept of this restaurant is so cool. The wine shop in the back, tables to do work, and mini shop makes it the perfect place to visit with friends or by yourself

I lived in Miami many years so I know Cuban coffee when I taste it. This coffee shop must have been trained by old school Cubans because the Cafe Con Leche is 100% on point. I haven't tried their Cuban sandwich yet because I guess they're so popular. But if you're looking for a good Cafe Con Leche in Tampa oh, this is definitely the place.

Visited on our recent trip to TB area. We used to go all the time when we lived close by, and loved it then. Nothing has changed. Still very good coffee and the service was good. Pricing is a little higher than most, but to be expected given location. Will return again and again. Anything for good coffee and nearly anything to avoid Starbucks.
