Wow! This cafe was a very pleasant surprise! Try not to judge this book by its cover. The area isn't too hot, but... The food was delicious and our service was friendly. Palm River Cafe serves authentic Cuban food for breakfast and lunch. Plus, they cater, too. The potatoes were well-seasoned. The toast is Cuban bread. The eggs were made to order, and the protein was our choice. The grits were buttery and cheesy, just how we like them. The Cafe Con Leche coffee was so delicious! The prices are a resonable value for the money. Portion sizes are large. My hubby and I were able to share one breakfast, and we were stuffed! Overall, our experience here was very pleasant. If you are looking for authentic, delicious, Cuban food at low prices, this is your cafe! I ordered the chicken quarter, black beans and rice, and yucca. Everything was warm, tasty and delicious! The chicken was very moist. My order was take out and my take out box is now empty, except for the bones. I can't wait to go back!

Woman at the front desk was very nice, professional and made a great Cafe con Leche. I watched the other woman that made the sandwiches I ordered take great care in choosing the best pieces of meat for each and carefully making them. Coffee and food was great, will go back when I'm over that way again.

The friendly staff always has a smile for you when you arrive. I swap between the breakfast platter and a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. Both are great starts to your day. I know they have a good lunch menu but I have not had the opportunity to try it out yet. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

We used to get Cubans as take out from a restaurant that closed a couple years ago. We tried a bunch of different places with no luck. Then I ran across the Palm River Cafe and Catering. Their Classic Cuban Sandwich is delicious. We'll be going back whenever we're in the mood for Cubans. Great place!

My wife and I came here yesterday to get some lunch. Everything was just so delicious and flavorful. The service was fast and so friendly. I enjoyed my visit, when we are back in town we will certainly visit again.

I have never gone in person but my office always orders toast from them. I just ordered cafe con leche the other day and I was so happy to finally find a cafe con leche with real latino flavor. I also loved the size, cafe con leche is strong so you really don’t need 16 oz. They’re my favorite for latin flavor toast and coffee. I will need to try their other food next.

First time trying their Cuban sandwich and I will say that it was really good. I.may go back to try their hot food.

Very nice and friendly little Latin food joint, the Cuban sandwiches were gigantic and delicious first time I got them with tomatoes dough 😆 excellent café con leche and mango juice naturally. Thanks will come back again.
