Cafe Coffee shop

😐 Staff are amazing people! However my friend use to work there and she said that the lady who works in the kitchen doesn’t wear gloves and uses moldy food which is why people return it all the time. So just get the coffee and stay away from the food! 🤮 People often mention coffee, drink, shop, asked, staff, menu, great, service, time, cold,

AVOID - spend money at businesses who care about you as their patron. The service was non-existent—literally. I think maybe twice in my life I’ve taken the time to write a poor review, yet I felt compelled to do so in this case. I wrote management a detailed message describing my experience and they cared so much about their customers and their business they didn’t even bother replying. It shows that the culture starts at the top. My experience: When I walked in to the empty shop, two male baristas were having a conversation and said nothing to me. Not even a nod in my direction. I hadn’t been here before so I was reading the menu when another customer entered—once again, no greeting. The person asked what the difference was between the cold brew and the nitro cold brew, and the barista said flatly and annoyed, “the taste.” When the person ordered, one started making their drink, and the other stood looking around except for in my direction. The customer took their drink and left, and the baristas proceeded to mock the question and make fun of the patron right in front of me. Clearly, I was invisible or someone who was of no importance. I ordered an ice coffee. Just said “one iced coffee.” They entered my order, charged me, made my drink and gave it to me all without saying a single damn word to me. Not one word. Here’s the best part: I asked for a straw and received my first and only acknowledgment with a surly, “we don’t do straws.” You don’t “do” straws, Blind Tiger? You serve your food and drinks in non-recyclable PLASTIC cups. But sure, straws are where you draw the line. Straws and service, clearly. There are so many wonderful coffee shops in Tampa to support when you buy a $5+ cup of brewed coffee, and THIS AIN’T IT.

I’ve come here a lot over the past six months, and I can say that it’s my favorite coffee shop in the area. Their Mocha Latte is my go-to drink. It’s always in point, and doesn’t burn my mouth to cinders on my first sip. It’s a relaxing place to do work, study, or just sit and enjoy a great cup of coffee. Their baristas are always friendly, and know the menu well enough to make suggestions. 10/10 will be coming here until I low as the area.

Mediocre menu and high prices - would not recommend! I paid $12 +tip for an acai bowl served in a cheap takeout container, that had frozen fruit which had no flavor & hurt my teeth. You'd hope that when someone chooses to dine in and pays a decent price, they get a clean dining surface, and substantial dining ware. That's too much to expect at the Westchase location where I had to clean off the table and set my bags on a dirty floor. All their bowls are served in disposable plastic containers with cheap plastic spoons. The service is average at best as well.

Great coffee spot in the very nice Westchase Village Park. Lots of delicious coffee, desserts and food options. The staff is very friendly as you would expect from all the other Blind Tiger locations. Always love all their artistic murals on the walls which adds a nice feel to the whole vibe. This is a great place to work from with a moderate amount of outlets for the seating area. I highly recommend checking out this spot if you want great coffee options!

Limited menu options, a little pricey, and the coffee was okay. I think they were unsure of how to make a Pour-over, so waited awhile to get it. All-in-all, an average community coffee shop, but the staff was pleasant, the clientele were those that lived in the community and could walk to it, and there was plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Would go again, for just the ambiance with friends.

Great cozy coffee shop! They have seasonal coffee and teas, also. I've always been a big chain coffee drinker (and occasionally still visit) but the best coffee is here. When I am in the mood for tea, their loose leaf teas are the best. My favorites are Moroccan Mint and Orange Blossom. They have a friendly staff and great food options as well!

It’s getting more pricey and terrible. I’m sorry, guys, but if I asked for Oat milk cappuccino I didn’t expect about 100 ml of starbucks level coffee for $4,5!!! without any latte art. You can see it on the picture. Yes, you got it right, that’s how the drink looks, like half of an already small cup. The drink was hot like hell! Did you hear anything about comfortable temperature for the coffee drinks? Muffin usually nice and crunchy on the top, now is soggy and feels like it was already twice frozen. Didn’t expect that from you…

Hottest Americano ever served: delicious! Great alternative to the commercial-chain "coffee house". We were welcomed, quick ordering process. I live my coffee HOT and this was by gar the hottest temp Americano I've ever been served. Breakfast sandwich was large enough for two to share.

Every time I come into Blind Tiger it is such a delight! The music and atmosphere is lovely!! The drinks are amazing, my favorite is the iced cafe bombon for the warmer days. However as the season is changing I've grown kin to the hot cafe con leche. My go to lunch option is the croissant sandwich. The staff are also amazing. They seem to have new staff and they too are incredible! There is one employee that throws me off a little, she seems always sad and is always sitting in the corner. Kinda strange! Wish her the best and everyone there.

the shop is very clean + the atmosphere is nice. however, it seems that the music is too loud. i asked the barista for a 16 oz iced matcha latte with almond milk, and my friend asked for a breakfast croissant with egg + cheese. the barista gave us a plain croissant with nothing on it + a chai iced latte with regular milk. i'm lactose intolerant, that drink wouldve cost me a whole day on the toilet. when i said "is this a matcha latte with almond milk?" she said "no you ordered a chai latte" i do not like being told what i ACTUALLY ordered--i was a barista for three years. when someone says their drink is wrong, you apologize + remake the correct drink. i do not need the attitude. nonetheless, my drink was made (it took over five minutes, even though the store was empty) + it tasted fine. my father also loved the tacos that he ordered, so three stars. maybe turn down the music + the attitude, blind tiger cafe.

Picked up some food for clients. One of the bowls was done incorrectly. I noticed and they fixed it right away with no problems. Everyone inside was super nice and we had a wonderful chat while I waited for my correction. Wonderful staff!

I purchased a double shot latte and it was so weak all I could taste was milk. When I asked for an extra shot, we were charged additional cost and it still tasted like warm milk. We were charged $18 for 2 coffees with the additional shots. The staff were unprofessional and unkind in their interactions. Don’t recommend. Stick to Starbucks.

I was very interested in some of the specialty drinks they had, when I asked the employees about them they had no clue how they tasted. I ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches that costed way too much than they should be. Barley came with any toppings, costed $9 each, and left still hungry.

I had to cancel the first delivery because my uber driver earlier was ignoring it, I placed the order again for the same thing and called the restaurant to make sure they would either remake or reheat the sandwich i ordered, the young man who answered confirmed with me that he would. This was rock hard and ice cold instead, meaning I got the food from the first order. Sad, customer service lacking. Great cold brew so not one star

We enjoyed our Friendsgiving here and received a warm welcome and professional service. Our meetup group had to find an indoor location due to rain and cold that canceled our beach party. The owner and barista generously allowed us to enjoy the coffee shop and saved the day. The drinks and menu were quickly and perfectly prepared. The menu variety was just right. We look forward to returning to enjoy more items and the outdoor seating.

I called the Westchase location 4 times to try and place a to go order. I got hung up on 3 times and on the 4th time they answered and didn’t say anything - I had to be the one to speak before they hung up again - and then the person on the line told me that they don’t take orders over the phone and asked me to order online. They sounded flustered (probably wasn’t expecting to get called back after they hung up on me). They also didn’t introduce themselves or say the store name at all. Good food and coffee (highly recommend the breakfast tacos) but not great customer service.

Not a huge coffee person but decided to give it a try with my Mom, was pretty expensive and has taken a lot of time for food to come out. Food came out half-warm, half-cold and not good for the price. All in all, it was okay.

We really like the Seminole Heights Blind Tiger but the Westchase location feels like an imposter. This was our first time there and it felt so lame in comparison, like a generic coffee shop lacking personality. A bunch of unpleasant customers and melancholy staff. Not a good vibe. Will drive a little further to the Seminole Heights location from now on.

While not likely the target demographic of a coffee shop, having alternative options for folks that are not into the brew is good business practice. On a cold day, a hot chocolate went well and it was good to see the drink stayed true to the word of the menu having actual chocolate syrup than the powdered mix offered elsewhere. As for the image included, the perennial Millennial food: Avocado Toast w/ Egg. The spread was sufficient, chili oil providing a nice light kick along with the tang of the lime wedge. A good light meal to start the day. Overall atmosphere relaxing and peaceful where my experience was brief after walking in to pickup the online order.
