The state fair is always an adventure, and at a great price. We came during the week and the crowd wasn’t too bad. No drinks allowed, not even water, but the prices inside were not ridiculous. The Heritage Village is particularly interesting to us, since we’re not big on rides. Always nice to see the talent in the displays, maybe someday I’ll have something there.

Florida has to have the best State Fair of any in the country. Plenty of food, fun, and a hue variety of things to see. From Cracker Country to the Wildlife and Forestry Division, the merchant buildings, arts & crafts, and one of the best livestock areas I have ever seen. Entertainment is plentiful and high quality. There are so many food vendors, that lines are usually not a problem. There's always at least a dozen "new" food items on the agenda each year, and this year on e of them was the Banana Cream Pie Funnel Cake. WOW, was that a nice treat to end the day on! The grounds are kept clean, restrooms are too. The staff does a nice job all around. HSCO keeps a good presence and we've never seen any issues during our early day visits. We don't do the night time thing anymore. Always a good time and always fun to have the fair in February each year! Thank you!

Our family had a great time at the fair. My only criticism is not enough tables and shaded areas to sit and enjoy your food. And the food was quite pricey. However, we enjoyed Cracker Village. If you're going plan ahead. Water cost $4.00 so invest in the Refill cups.

The is the BEST Fair I have ever attended. Lots of rides, games food and beverages. Many exhibits, animals and bathrooms are well located and kept clean. The entertainment is excellent! Well worth the admission price. Parking is free and the Fair runs until 2/21. Don't miss the great activity for all ages!

Lots of food, rides, animals, i guess as any state fairs. Parking was easy but we almost got stuck by others blocking the way- poor parking management there. Gate entrance was easy and maps helped. Wish we could see more shows in the afternoon but they ended mostly early. Ride ticket prices was not very straightforward and had huge lines to buy tickets on the spot. Nice kids cowboy area to play and learn. Cute bunnies and chicken / cow presentations to learn about their life cycle.

Bought advance tickets so that wasn't too bad but once you get in, expect to pay exuberant prices for everything. Lemonade, 9 dollars and 4 for refill, pork sandwich with two sides 16 dollars. Everything is way too expensive. We have been going for years but I think this is the last time we go.

It was really nice this year, I definitely had more fun this year than last year! If you are a foodie🍦🍪🍩🍕🌮 this is the place for you,🍹🍻🍸 next year I am sure there will be even more crazy food concoctions🍢!! The rides🎠🎡🎢 were the same, if you go during the week and get a bracelet it is well worth the money💲💲! It seemed to me that there were more games this year. I wish they had more animal🐴🐣 barns, but the animal attractions are not bad. The hall that had all the marketing was great, they had everything under the 🌞. My family recommends the state fair to your family, maybe we will see you there next year!!!♡♡♡

Had a great time at the Florida State Fair. Large Fairgrounds with all the amenities, so many food vendors! Cracker country was interesting too! So many ferris wheels, vendors, and great performers. Couldn't fit everything in one day! I recommend for a fun day or weekend.

Good day to see some impressive builds. Unfortunately, i fill the ticket price not worth that much of the experience. Quite lack of organization. I filled like I am no flee market. Prices for some kit so much over prices. Any way good day for my boy.... 4* for that.

The state fair was great. Sadly, way more than we could see in the half day we had allocated. Good food and great information available on lots of ag topics. Tram across event was neat. Great family fun.

2nd time visiting the State Fair. Clean, police presence - very heavy. The Food AMAZING🎉 as always. Recommendations: Glazed donuts with milk, Bacon & chicken potato chips, steak on a stick, fried mushrooms 🍄 & strawberry lemonade. 5⭐️. The ferris wheel - fun & people mover... beautiful views. Big Carnival area for the teenagers. Cool exhibits & just a great time to visit💕

It was clean, spacious and well ventilated for Shark Con this weekend. The food choices are a bit limited. I got a breakfast burrito for $8 which was very tasty. Staff was nice and helpful.

Section 8 was a great place to sit - easy access to beverage/food/bathrooms. The exiting was funneled out of 1 exit for the concert so that wasn't fun. Overall though, would definitely go again. And the Have Annual Lawn passes for a decent cost ( yes, there are exclusions ) but if you live close by I can definitely see the benefit!

My first Florida State Fair experience! We had soooo much fun! There were more food options than you can count. So many shows to see throughout the day. Parking was free and admission price isn't too bad. My husband got in free for heroes day.

It was actually a pretty decent experience. It was much better than I thought it would be. The layout was very handicap friendly, and the foundation was solid. We went to the veteran's recognition event. (I wish that they would have honored my family as well.) The events rides and vendors were very traditional for a fair. None stood out as being unsafe. Prices throughout were variable. Overall, I would participate again in the future. The circus was very good and entertaining. The sentry staff were very helpful for this particular event. Military and handicap friendly. Parking was free and special parking for the disabled.

Had such a blast today at the Florida Fair! First time attending and will not be the last! So much fun to be had. Rides, animals, shows, music, agricultural education, expos and great food. Parking was free, which was a nice surprise and the lines move quickly. Recommend going on a weekday right when it opens. However the rides won't open till 1pm. Enjoy a circus show while you wait for the rides. Super fun afternoon! Don't forget sunscreen!

State fair is loads of fun- just be sure to bring a lot of $$. Entry isn’t bad and the all day ride bands is better than paying as you go, but don’t forget the cash for doughnut burgers, lemonade, and deep fried Oreos.

Went on $3 Thursday. Lots of vendors and things to do. Most food vendors had a $3 food item, but some only had drinks for their $3 item. It was advertised that select rides would be $3, but in reality, they would accept 3 tickets. Tickets were $10 for 7, making it difficult to get an easy amount of tickets to use on rides because of the odd ratio.

We had a spectacular time on Sunday! We have not attended since the PANDEMIC! We truly had a spectacular time! As content creators for our @leichaurellelux brand we promote on Instagram. The State Florida Fair was pristine and very well organized it was so amazing to see. Try the APPLE FRIES!

Went for the Car show this year and it was great. The cars were on the same level and well laid out. We enjoyed going and will be back next year.

We enjoyed a beautiful day at our States Fair! Food beyond belief! Not all food is ridiculously fried, vegetarian dishes are available, Asian fare, Greek as well as cream doughnut bun burgers! Beer and mix drinks are available as well. ALL staff were friendly and helpful. The water show was very entertaining. Expo Hall has a lot of booths and clean restrooms. It was fun to enjoy the fair.

Went to see the Florida Home and Garden Show. Very well organized. Had a ton of vendors and a great variety of items for display. They had plenty of food available for purchase and the parking and entry prices were fair. On some of the items you had a few different companies that offered the same product so you could shop for what fits your needs best and do it in person.

The Florida State Fair is fun. A very large area full of activities and events and lots of food. Actually more food than I expected. The parking is a little crazy. Especially once you're ready to leave. But other than the parking it is manageable. But I was surprised, lots of vendors and shows. I enjoyed it. I also enjoyed the donuts from Peachy Baking co.

I usually go to the Fairgrounds during Tampa Bay Boat Show to do fishing seminars and kids fishing clinics. We talk about fishing with the kids and we give them free rod and reel and take them to the lake in the back to try what they have learned during the class. Nothing more rewarding than seen there expresion when they catch a fish.. Priceless!!

A once a year treat. I tend to visit on a weekday when it's less crowded. There are lots of vendors with some cool stuff in the air-conditioned hall! Then go outside and visit Cracker Country! Cracker Country closes at 6 pm, so plan accordingly. There are a TON of food and drink options everywhere. And don't forget about the midway and the great rides. Buy a wristband and ride them all. Also, check out the animal area and see the great stuff the kids are doing with raising animals.

Just go! Be hungry. Find the Bacon booth. Bacon covered chocolate? Yes, do it! Tons of food, fun games, phenomenal performances, A/C expo floor has lots of great finds, animals, art, and more. Clean bathrooms and very friendly staff. Great fun for any age. Family time or date night.

The Florida State Fairgrounds is an annual event that takes places in Tampa, FL. This is a fair known for its food, rides, animals, advertising, and creative exhibitions. We went during the 2023 season, on February 12. The size of the fairgrounds is large, and has fairly decent events going on. The entertainment inside is good, plus educational exhibits about the state. The animal exhibits here were very good. We saw many animals: horses, pigs, and cows. I just wish I seen more. The food at the fair is alright; a lot of stands seem to compete for one item. For example, the fried Oreos are $8 at one stand, and $10 at another. I also had a Donut Burger. It wasn’t that good, but a delicacy you can get at a fair. Overall, would recommend checking out.

Loved the shows. Went to eight on our one day visit. No cost parking. $10 entrance fee . Free shows and concerts. Loved the amazing children's and teen art displays. Adult woodworking was stunningly beautiful.

We went to the Florida State Fair here for the first time this past spring. It was a lot bigger of an area than I thought it was. Fun to be had all around. Parking can be a bit tricky but once you've been there a time or two you know your way around.

Came here for a Jelly Roll concert and ended up at the car show. Parking is convenient and not a bad walk at all. Super clean and friendly staff.

Security was abrasive and just plain rude. The first machine wasn't working and security yelled at my boyfriend and me. The show we came for was fantastic, only reason I gave 3 stars. Bathrooms are dreadful and in disrepair. Avoid if you can or limit your time in there as it's a sauna.

Attending Odesza Last Goodbye Tour! This place is huge! The staff were on point! The restrooms were cleaned literally every hour and is super clean! I highly recommend coming for any event.

If you go on a weekend definitely get there at 9:30-9:45. Gates open at 10:00. The food is generally overpriced, or maybe that's just the ones on the website. I had the Brazilian pineapple bowl and it was mediocre. Fries were too salty. There's a huge assortment of enticing food vendors all along the way though. Circus Hollywood was amazing as usual. Got to see some cute animals.

Florida Florida state fairgrounds was a great place to park for the concert that we attended Saturday at the mid Florida credit union in Amphitheatre. It was a great experience thank you very much son’s first concert and he’s 13 he had a blast. Thank you for making it very safe for all of us family members.

Great venue! Been coming here for years now from Orlando since most artists seem to like Tampa more lol. Whether you have seats or sit on the lawn it's a great experience. Plenty of room in the seats so you aren't sitting on your neighbor. Lawn offers great views all around. Good food and drink options with plenty of stations so little to no wait. My only complaint is the restrooms. ZERO ventilation so it gets super hot in there. Clean for the most part, just need better air flow.

We went to Jurrasic Quest and it was fun! Lots to do but my toddler wasn't super interested in anything so I think maybe it would be better for an older toddler/kiddo. My toddler is 22 months. There was a lot of bouncer activities and he just wasn't into it. The best part was the little jeep cars. He loved it!

We went here for the Tampa Bay Boat Show, and it was very small and basic. It's $10 to park and 'free' to enter. Most of the boats are very similar, and they have kayaks there, too. The vendor selection is odd - Humana, mattresses, Solar panels.
