I was very surprised at the size of this venue. It was very clean, and didn't seem to have a bad seat in the house. My only complaint was that there were no indication that this was a clear bag / purse venue. They limit the size of your purse to a 4.5 by 6.5 size. Mine was less than an inch to big and we had to walk all the back to the car. All it had in it was my phone, glasses, and credit cards. I was not a happy camper! Other than that, we loved this venue!!! VIP Box 17 row 1

Decent spot for a show for a large amphitheater. Prices are outrageous on drinks and food which is to be expected. Parking on site is expensive and takes forever to get out. Also they park you in grass/mud so it can literally be a mess. If you don’t mind walking, parking at the hard rock casino nearby is free and easier out.

Excellent outdoor concert venue. Good lines of sight, seats pretty comfy and not cramped, lots of restrooms and plenty of food/drink vendors, although as you would expect they are rather expensive. Video screens allow close look at performance. Just saw Dave Matthews Band and of course, they rocked the house.

Outside music venue that provides free parking! Definitely a really awesome place to tailgate and see your favorite artist live! Buying a seat is a great way to ensure you are not going to get rained on in the summer Florida weather but the general admission lawn seats are definitely a good option as well! You can rent chairs there but know you need to get there early to get a good location. The music sounds amazing from any where and the beer prices are pretty high but that's a music venue for you! No bathrooms in the lawn area, so plan accordingly!

I came here last night for the Lil Baby and Chris Brown concert. Overall, I think the amphitheater is nice. At some points it kind of sounded like maybe some of the speakers were grounding out, but otherwise a great show. What I do want to mention, is that it would be great if all of the large fans above the crowd worked. Maybe there would have been more air flow with those running. I was in section 14, and the one above that area didn't work, neither did the one on the right. I'd probably visit Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre again, but maybe when it's not so hot out.

I loved the fair, had an amazing time. The fair ground was huge. You definitely need to get there in the early morning to see everything. My goodness is it high just to get in the gates. My 1st time there in like 16 years and only been here the 2 times. It was a blast then as well. 🥳💯💣🤪🥰

Attending the Disturbed concert at this venue was an electrifying experience! The venue's atmosphere perfectly complemented the intense energy of the band. With its spacious layout and top-notch sound system, every note resonated beautifully, making for an unforgettable night. The staff's organization and the seamless entry process added to the overall enjoyment. Whether you're a die-hard fan or just looking for a great concert spot, this venue is a must-visit. Get ready to rock out and create lasting memories amidst an incredible crowd!

Parking help sucks. After all these years, still confusing getting in and out. Put up some signs to help the lost people looking for their cars already!!! Prices nuts, seats so-so but overall a good venue for music.

The best experience!! From now is One of my favorite venues for concerts. The employees are amazing, very helpful and with a good mood, always checking the people to not block the view or move from one area to another. A lot of options for food, drinks and especially the bathrooms. Clean bathrooms and a lot of. No lines for food or drinks (I'm talking about in a SOLD OUT Concert) I really love it. I drove from Orlando to Tampa. My experience it was on the PIT Area, very good area to enjoy the concerts. The concert was on summer time, even on summer was so fresh, they have fans on the top and is covered. 100% Recommended!

First concert here. Large covered outdoor venue. It sounds amazing. There is a lawn area on hill area behind seating section, would not recommend. Limited view from lawn area, seating is the way to go here. Parking was free but could be setup better. Took an hr. to get out of fair grounds onto main road due to traffic. Would recommend coming here for a concert.

This venue is great. Easy to navigate, a lot of friendly staff to help. My favorite thing was the sizing on the seats. The seats did not have armrests (except for the front row) and there was a lot of leg room. It was a super comfortable night and I didn't have bruises on my hips. So, big bodies folks, do not worry! Go to that concert!

Great outdoor venue with good sound and production abilities. From most places - unless you park yourself behind a pillar - you have great views of the artists. Since this is a permanent venue at the fairgrounds they have permanent concession stands. Although I expect elevated pricing I will say this was one of the most expensive venues we’ve been to. Beers start at $14 and go up from there. Water was $5 each. They had plenty of staff and kept the lines moving quickly. Overall this is an amazing venue and would get 5 stars had the pricing not been so ridiculous.

Saw Fall Out Boy on July 25, 2023. Thought it would be sweltering hot. To my surprise I was very comfortable under the huge awning. Love the fact that they have a dedicated zone for smoking and vaping, and even phone charging port areas! Food and drink prices were a little high.($16 for a personal pizza and $5 for a water in a can) And the fact you had to pour your water into a giant clear solo cup, for what reason I will never understand, it was a great place.

Always a nice experience at this venue. The place is clean and well-maintained. The most important part to make or break a concert is the sound. I can say that the majority of the time, the sound quality here is impressive for an outdoor type of venue, making the concert enjoyable. The VIP amenities were nice and added to the overall experience. The only downside was the slightly pricey drinks at the concert, but that was expected and so it wasn’t too bad. Also in the summer this place is HOT! At the going rate of the tickets and concesions you think they could put some fans or something in there. I have been to many concerts at this venue over the years, and I've never hesitated to go back. I live somewhat in the middle between Tampa and West Palm, and if I have the choice, I will always pick the Tampa MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre over the West Palm Beach iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre to see a concert. (These amphitheater names are stupid, can’t they just give it a normal name and then say Sponsored by!) I do wish the area had some nicer restaurants and hotels around.

The venue is beautiful and has so much to do. There's tons of food/beverage vendors. It's very clean & the staff members are wonderful & helpful, from the parking attendants to ticketing to security. There's plenty of parking (up close for an additional fee), rideshare, ride/pickup/drop-off services, & disabled parking. We purchased lawn seats for the Boy George & Culture Club concert & they upgraded everyone's lawn seats to the concert seats due to low ticket sales...bonus score for us! The only complaint I have is that they don't allow lawn chairs, but it worked out for us when they closed the lawn. We have more concerts in the future & are excited to go. Great place for the Tampa Bay area!!

Loved this ampitheater!! Lawn seats were excellent, and we sat at the far back center right. They allow you to bring a blanket and/ or rent chairs. I recommend prepay for chair rentals ahead of time for cheaper price! Would definitely return for future events:)

The productions are great and are separate from the venue. The venue while with decent sound leaves non existent signs or guidance to navigate around the Amphitheatre. No parking signs. One thing I learned - do not take the 686 route or you will spend quality time in the street waiting to pull in. Use the 301 exit. Looking forward to another visit- now that I am a little better acclimated it should go smoothly.

Had a great time. I bought the VIP meet n greets, and it went pretty smoothly. It was very hot outside and while we were waiting they gave us water and little cups of ice cream. The sound was great, and the drinks were good, too. They had a cup that if you pay $8, you get free refill the rest of the night, and they also had really good chicken tenders. Great experience overall.

Been here for a handful of concerts, always a great time! Plenty of parking, plenty of vendors for food and drinks, you can also bring in your own water bottles as long as they are sealed and unopened. If you sit in the “Lawn” section they have seats you can rent, or you can bring your own blanket to sit on. Big screens to see the stage if you are sitting further back, they also have great speakers for a quality show!

I have been to a few shows here. The venue itself is really great . Nice clean seating area and a huge lawn for inexpensive seating. Great view of the stage from every seat. The beer is super expensive. $17 for one beer! The volume at the last show was surprisingly loud. 113-115 db at the halfway point in the seating area! I’m glad I brought ear plugs. The sound was clear and professional… just loud. Great venue!

Absolutely the greatest outdoor amphitheater! Spacious seats, easy to find. Decent air flow and breeze. Lots of stalls in the bathroom. Plenty of food and drink to choose from, even ice cream. Parking lot leaving is gonna take awhile so buckle up and chill. Here to see Matchbox Twenty which was an amazing show, frikn unbelievable. Will be back to see Slightly Stooped, The Movement, Three doors down and Candlebox. Can't wait to come back.

Great venue! Traffic going in was well organized, staffed, and made parking painless. Everything was clean, and the seats had a great view of the stage. The sound was incredible. It's definitely worth checking it out. Lots of great artists and bands coming up later this year. We were there for the Avenged Seven Fold/Falling in Reverse/Kim Dracula convert...AMAZING!!!

My wife and I haven't really been out since the pandemic. In a sea of people. And it was my first show at this venue. Family, of course, has been before. We came for Megadeth and The Original Misfits. And they came to rock. One of the best shows ever. Bar service and navigation was on point. Great date night. Will be back...

Florida State Fair. So much for everyone. I loved the number of rides they had for the little ones as well as the older children. The bracelet rode option was best for my 3 year old grandson and Daddy. We definitely got our monies worth. Food, food, and more food, something for everyone no matter where you turned. Plan on spending the whole day if you're like our family that wants to ride, eat, see the exhibits, shop, and listen to music.

Great venue with excellent staff who are very helpful. This was my first concert at this venue, and the entire experience was very easy. They had employees at the entrance who guided traffic both before and after the concert. The restrooms were clean, and there was plenty of food and drink offerings and places to sit and eat. We had seats in row C, and the area was covered, and there was a nice breeze that kept us from boiling in the 100-degree heat.

It's one of my favorite music venues. I love that you can sit either under the shelter or on the lawn. This time, I did the Tito's reserved lawn sitting and had the perfect view of the stage. At this venue, it doesn't matter where you sit, you are going to hear the music clearly. Enough food and drink options available. They do a decent job of keeping the restrooms clean and stocked. Drink booths are also located throughout, so you don't chance misses our on your show while making a beer run.

I went to the Outlaw Music Festival for an excellent show. The staff at the venue were extremely helpful as I had my 87 year old dad with me who has trouble walking around. They moved us to the handicap seating and even gave us a ride to our car without having to be asked! Definitely be attending more events at this venue.

Great venue. Parking was seemless. Live Nation Crew was friendly, knowledgeable, & never hesitant to help. Food & drink are pricey as most venues comparably. Expect to pay $5/water $8/soda $15/sandwich and $15-22 beer/cocktail. Leave all unnecessary items at home or in car for Security checkpoint. Enjoy yourself & have a blast!

It was wonderful! The concert was great!!! Food good, drinks great!!! The only negative, if I had to come up with one would be you have to rent chairs instead of being able to bring your own. Chair rental on the lawn is $20 each.

1st time here... I came for the Brett Michael's Party Gras tour and had a blast! I'm handicapped and the event staff was so very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely come back for another concert.

Walked from the hotel across the street. Sheriff's officers were directing traffic and safely get you across. People were tailgating and having a blast. Getting inside was fast and easy with digital tickets. Drinks are expensive, including water (they sell liquid death mountain water). We purchased the lawn chair ($40 each) and it was a good decision. Everyone was cool and easy going. The concert was fantastic and we hung out after in our chairs until the mad rush was over. Walked back to the hotel for the evening. Overall, excellent experience.

We’ve been to a bunch of concerts here but this was a pretty special one. A friend of mine was playing with Matchbox Twenty and we got to see him play after a bunch of years and then hang out after the show. So, it was a pretty special night. A lot of great artists perform here so that definitely bumps up the ranking. I couldn’t give it five stars though because the acoustics of the place are always a bit questionable. The sound is usually so boomy and muddy. It’s mostly outside but I’ve been to plenty of outdoor arenas that sound significantly better.

Truthfully, we went to the State Fair. We paid extra to get Gold armband and the t was well worth it! On every ride right away! It was really a good time this year.

I don’t know where to begin, Tim McGraw headlined with Russel Davidson opening. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. Helpful with directions. Live Nation did a good job having never been here before I was excited to see a big venue like this. I was a little surprised at the shallow angle of the seating as I got stuck behind a tall fella who blocked any view of the stage. So I just stood up most of the time. No one’s fault just wasn’t able to see very well from row CC. Tim delivered a Fantastic Show as always. Everyone was well behaved I’m sure because of the expectations of the staff. I’m excited to return for another concert in the future. I’ll try and get the front of a row next time. Lol. The drive from Gainesville wasn’t bad.

This is my third time seeing Jack Johnson here. He puts on an amazing show. The only things that were slightly disappointing since I’ve attended a concert here last is there are now giant storage container’s for lawn chair rentals that block the view for anybody sitting near the front of the lawn in certain areas and there’s now a special seating section in the middle of the lawn. Otherwise this is a great venue! We were still able to bring in blankets and one sealed water bottle per person.

Very impressive place indeed! There is great organization of food vendors, merch tables and seating. The sound was unexpectedly on point. It wasn't too loud, too low or muffled. Plenty of security and EMS present as well if needed.

The VIP lounge and tickets were totally worth it! AC bathrooms and lounge areas with tons of shaded seating and places to cool down! Good was great and so was the bar staff

I've seen some of my favorite bands play here. Just saw Garbage, Metric and Noah Gallagher play a few weeks back and was reminded of how much I love this place. Such an amazing show and venue. The lawn is great for getting out of the hot crowd and catching a nice breeze. One downfall, terrible food options!

  • 4/5 Cody M. 9 months ago on Google
Great minus long walk to park, no shuttles, over priced drinks and no water fountains. The pit standing room area is great for the more lively events. The lawn area is just fine for bands you just want to hear but only when cool out and not packed to the max.

  • 5/5 novembergulfmike 9 months ago on Google
Very much enjoyed the experience (Matchbox20), strongly suggest you eat and have a few drinks before you walk through the gate, the prices were astronomical, $24 for a drink, $10 for water, $25 for a medium size burger and fries. That being said, I’ll definitely return again for future concerts, the venue was pretty amazing.

Amazing place for concerts. Great people here. Everyone was so kind. Truly love going here for any concert. You can move around in the field if you'd like or stay in one spot. Either way it's an amazing location and great place for concerts or special events.

The mid Florida amphitheater is one of the finest places to go see a show. Concerts of any sort always sound the best. I've seen several concerts there and have never ever been disappointed. The sound is amazing! Whether acoustic, aversions or heavy metal country etc

We were here for the Matchbox 20 concert that was awesome. The facility is nice, and had decent sound quality. There was a good selection of food available and beer and mixed drinks. Prices for food wnd drinks seem really expensive to me.

Just saw Foreigner there this past Sunday. 1st time there& I was impressed. It says it holds 20,000, but it seemed like more than that- jam packed. Acoustics are pretty good, although the bands could play louder, if it wasn't for their noise restrictions due to homes nearby. Great venue & concessions, etc & I'll be back there soon!!

I came to my first, big concert here (Dierks Bentley) and I was happy with my experience. We have great seats, the music was great and I would recommend coming here for your next concert. Jordan Davis and Caylee Hammack were the openers for this concert and they were excellent.

I saw DMB play at the amphitheatre the summer of 2004 and almost 20 years later, I’m still attending concerts here. Took my niece to see Matchbox Twenty last week and she loved it. We sat in section 12 and could see the stage perfectly, the sound was good and concessions were not far. I hope to be seeing shows for another 20 years at this venue.

  • 3/5 moxie d. 8 months ago on Google
The venue itself was nice. Security was friendly and food/drink selection was excellent. However, we left before the last few songs and STILL took 1.5 hours to get 50 feet from our parking spot. They desperately need to hire a few people to direct outgoing traffic for larger crowds. It was absolutely an experience killer and is just a way to funnel people to pay the extra ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100!) for VIP parking. We will not see acts here without it in the future.

Foreigner was fantastic! Great venue and experience. Great to hear classics performed authentically by successors who honor the music and can still sing unlike others like GNR. Great time! ❤️😁

This is a great venue! Easy in & out - both the parking and the venue. We had lawn seats and the sound was amazing! Tons of vendors for food and drinks and Like no lines. Such a great time at Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top and Uncle Cracker!!! Skynyrd killed it!!!
