Absolutely loved Tacoson! The tacos were big (my husband and I got full off of 2-3 tacos) and the prices were decent! We tried the steak, chicharron, and lengua tacos and they were all tasty! You can choose to get all the toppings (onions, cilantro, picked onions, tomatoes, etc) or just some! We will definitely be frequenting Tacoson often!

TacoSon is a local Mexican restaurant located in Del Rio, FL. This restaurant is a local favorite, and attracts a diverse array of customers. The only drawback to this place is the decor. The murals all over the dining room are very worn out and the tiled floors are basic. However, the service was friendly and got our food out quickly. The food here is the best aspect of this restaurant. All the food tastes authentic, and the Taco Salad is a great classic here. The Burrito is very good, as well as the fish tacos. Overall, would recommend going here for pickup or drive thru.

Yum. Everything we had was delicious. The flautas were huge. I could only eat 1 and barely a half. Guacamole was perfect. Rice and beans had so much flavor!!!!. My husband loved the tacos and tamale. The tamale was twice the size as most places. Well worth the money! Friendly service as well. Look forward to coming back.

Happened upon by accident, TacoSon Authentic Mexican Grill was by far the first restaurant that claims to have "Authentic Mexican" that 150% MEANS it. I haven't had a taste of home in over 4 years and while living in Tampa and exploring over 45 different Latin inspired food this place has floored my taste buds and my heart. What's more important is behind the scenes, owner Monica has a dedicated team that not only pour love and passion into the food, but a tenacious dedication customer service make this gem that much more precious. Outstanding. Legit tacos and other great Mexican food. Even the refried beans had an amazing slightly smoky, flavor. Queso is perfection as is the guacamole. This is an absolutely must try place. I do wish they had chorizo as an option for their tacos.

I've been to Mexico multiple times and when TacoSon says authentic, they truly mean authentic. The food here is phenomenal! Heaven in your mouth. After my 3rd visit i decided to write this review. Their nachos are homemade, fresh and crispy. Their salsa is made with fresh veggies, their tacos are to die for. They have this homemade pineapple juice it's as if you put a straw in a pineapple and start drinking. So many fresh and authentic food there, you'll understand why it is slightly more expensive than other taco places. Just try something there, if you disagree with my review give me a 👎 but i promise you'll love it.

We were looking for a taco place near us and decided to have Mexican dinner at TacoSon. It is a small restaurant with an amazing service and one can also do drive through. We decided to have the dinner in the restaurant. We ordered Tacos, Nachos Supreme Vegetarian, Tostada and Mexican Style Home-fries. In ten minutes we got our order. We first started with nachos. The nachos were delicious and tasty. Then we had the tacos. The tacos were also amazing and delicious. Then we had the tostadas and fries. We overall loved the food along with the service. Amazing mexican restaurant.

Employees are always so sweet! If you want authentic Mexican food this is the place to go. This place is a classic staple for Mexican food in Tampa I’ve been coming here a long time and it’s always on point.

Overall, this is a great spot! If you are looking for quality tacos and Mexican food, this is a great option. The guacamole was tasty, had a perfect balance of flavor and lime. The rice is seasoned really well, the same with the beans. The tacos were also good. Their medium sauce wasn't hot at all, tried their hot sauce and it had a little kick to it but nothing crazy.

Fast, fresh, and delicious! You order at the counter and the food is brought to your table in a matter of minutes. Everything was well seasoned and delicious! The extra hot sauce has an excellent flavor. Two taco combo with chicken pictured.

The food is authentic and fresh. They have daily specials under $10 that are always an excellent choice. The fresh chips and guacamole are perfect. Plus the homemade hot sauces, fresh pickled onions and salsas...its wonderful. Great friendly service, nice atmosphere and plenty of parking. Make a trip...it's definitely worth it!

Whenever I come here, I always have high expectations, and they never disappointed me. The price is not crazy expensive. The food tastes great. They have a rotating daily special, which is great for indecisive people like me that aren't picky because I just order the daily special no matter what it is. There are of course some items that are better made than others, but I have never come across an item that just tasted bad. I tend to go lighter on salt, so while I love, love their hot sauces, some are too salty for my taste. They all have great flavor though. TacoSon is like the not so hidden secret on the east side of Tampa.

Came here for lunch with the family after our sons graduation ceremony at U.S.F. Nice little location. Decent size portions. Chicken taco salad is phenomenal 😋 My wife enjoyed her salad as well. My son enjoyed his Tacos and chimichanga(in photo). My daughter enjoyed her cheese quesadilla. Tres Leches is good for dessert. Would recommend if you're in the area and looking for some Mexican food.

I’ve been to different Mexican restaurants in Tampa and other states, but nothing compares to TacoSon! Delicious, friendly, fresh and so flavorful! I recommend burrito with steak or quesadilla with steak and cheese 😋 MUST TRY!

Its hit or miss here. One day I'll come and its amazing the next, it's not. I ordered shrimp nachos to go and should have checked my food before I left because my order was wrong. Then I took a sip of my Horchata and it was gritty. Like they just made it when I ordered it, from a mix. if that's the case at least it should be a smoother consistency. So disappointed I spent money there when there are so many other options available

I’ve tried this place three different times. The burrito plates- the chicken has a lot of fat in it. Beef is extra it’s not very appetizing. Way way over salted & taste like the pan drippings are poured over it. Besides the salt it would be bland. It’s way over priced- the wait is long. Would recommend their chips and guacamole.

There was a Price Tag from the peper in my food, you should check your produce before you cut it and put it in cooked food!!! Not happy!! And the rice is hard. It's normally good, I don't know what happend today. I could imagine what else is in my food! 😞

The place is ok, I liked it at first but it did not get better than 3 stars. The tacos don’t have a set price for total since the protein is an additional charge. The carne asada tacos (only tacos I order) is not seasoned as much as I would like and is usually very fatty and chewy. The horchata is ok. Service is ok just nothing over the top, compared to fast food in the area tho is miles ahead.

Amazing Mexican food. Their Tacos and quesadillas are a must try.the staff are friendly and the place is well maintained,sanitiZed to keep the customers safe. Definitely going back again to try all items on the menu.Good portions for the value of money.

TacoSun has the best torta I've ever eaten and it was one of the best sandwiches I've eaten over the last few years! The bread was so soft and the ingredients were incredibly flavorful. If I had been closer to home I would have saved half of it for the next day. The ceviche was very fresh and tasty. I was so full! I would not hesitate to return and try more menu items. If I lived closer I would probably visit at least once a week!
