Come here if you want to get arrested! They have police standing by right on the property. Had visitors over a day before a wedding. and we decided to go here. Huge mistake. One of my guests from Ireland was arrested outside for absolutely nothing, staff member Stephanie quiroz lied to police that led to this horrible experience!Learn how to treat your customers right. Especially from Ireland. Police are to protect and serve. Not to be your personal security with false claims. There was no need for our guest to be arrested. The case was immediately dropped! Thanks for making the lawyer’s richer and losing many patrons as I own many businesses around that area and I’ll be sure to tell everyone to stay away!!!

I use to come here a lot but after this experience I’d have to say I’m beyond disappointed. I came in and got a couple of drinks and left my tab open at the bar. Decided to meet my husband outside the establishment and was coming back in. The bouncer was absolutely rude & unprofessional and asked for my husbands cash app. We were both extremely confused as to why he was asking maybe for a cover fee? Although I didn’t pay a cover prior to coming in. The bouncer wanted his cash app trying to make us buy my legal ID back since he did not believe I was of age or the person in my ID. I asked one of the bouncers if they could grab my credit card and close my tab at the bar and they refused. Came back the next day and brought other identification with me and once again they refused to give my credit card and driver’s license back. I think this situation could have been handled more professionally. Do better.

Hilarious and talented live musician. Food was great too and just a super friendly crowd! Will definitely be back soon! We ordered food close to 11pm and I was so happy that they're food was so good! Super pretzel bites w beer cheese and perfect French fries w gravy and beer cheese on the side.

To start off, I go to MacDinton’s pretty frequently. I saw they had a promotion of half off drinks so I went there on a Monday. When we go to pay the tab, each drink is $6.50 so it is technically buy one get one half off. Incredible false advertisement, their drinks during normal menu hours are not $13. Very disappointed.

This is the worst place I’ve ever been too. Last night, an off duty employee(Nikki Douglas) threw two drinks at us for no reason. We never spoke to her or had any interaction prior to the two drinks being thrown. Management immediately kicked us out. They eventually kicked her out after we complained. To make matters worse, the off duty employee kicked me in leg after we confronted her. Don’t come here unless u want to be assaulted by their employees. Edit: Response to owners comment: The incidence occurred at the Soho location late Sunday night(12/19). It occurred at the main outside bar near the main entrance. None of the on duty managers was involved but the outside bartender was a witness to it and did nothing about it. The person who threw two drinks at us her first name was Nikki as we overheard the General manager say her name as he tried to restrain her twice from attacking us. The General manager was in regular clothes and was very polite and tried to defuse the situation. He kicked us out but we were outrage that she did not get thrown out also. Eventually she got thrown out. I approached her (and filmed) to ask why she did it, she kicked me in the back Of the leg. One of our neighbors who is very familiar with McDintons recognized her picture and said her name is Nikki Douglas. I have a picture of Nikki and the General manager who was involved. I prefer not to post face pictures on here but I will if I have to. I sent a email with the pictures of the individual involved. Honestly, all we wanted was a simple apology. That’s it. But the fact she kept trying to attack us and had to be restrain twice is what really bothers us.

Definitely a college bar, but I assume most people know that before going there. Daytime is super chill and it’s always a great place to watch sports. Shoutout to Mike “Royce” for being the best bartender there. Give that man a raise!

Call it what it is, it's a College Bar. Been there done that too many moons ago. Daughter just graduated University of Tampa so going there with her (and the entire 2022 Class) was a highlight for us. Nice people work there, friendly and accommodating. You will enjoy yourself.

We ventured over here on a night out and the bouncer got very handsy with and wouldn’t allow a member of our party in for what appeared to be no reason. No explanation given. He actually let him halfway in and then randomly pulled him away? No one was overly intoxicated (we are in our 30s and 40s and drink responsibly) and we had a large group and a corporate credit card that we were ready to use. Just very bizarre and seemingly random behavior. Your loss $$$.

Surprisingly good food for an Irish bar. Perfect giant pretzel, the wings aren’t too greasy. Prices for drinks and food were refreshing compared to the rest of Tampa.

I came here a few Saturdays ago and really liked the vibe at this bar. I was at the outside bar and the bartender Micheal waited on us. He is an awesome bartender! He was very busy but let me know he would be with me as soon as he could. I continued to keep going to him the rest of the night as he was quick and efficient! Cool dude. I would come back just to have him as my bartender! Service on point!

After a very long day of work I like to wind down with a nice little trip to MacDintons. I find my favorite bar tender there, Royce with a smile on his face every time. Royce makes the best dirty shirley out there. I love MacDintons.

Experience was lovely EXCEPT the bathroom attendant was the actual rudest and most horrible person I’ve ever met. And then she has the audacity to ask for a tip 😂. Get less aggressive and hostile bathroom attendants. Absolutely unnecessary and off putting .

Absolute horrendous experience at Gasparilla. Some security guard got so angry that I took a VIP Truly that was out in the open after giving it back and apologized profusely once scolded. I didn’t mean to steal anything and I apologized once I was called out, but before I knew it a security guard had grabbed me by the shoulders, tried to wrestle me, and forcefully pushed me to the ground, causing a massive bruise on my hip and cuts on my upper extremities. He then thought it was funny and attempted to film me after he kicked my friends out, in which I had had enough and confronted him back. I should have called the police. All over a Truly Seltzer. This experience was disgusting and I recommend that young girls such as me never go back due to how unsafe this made the environment. If I had physical evidence I’d be filing a lawsuit at this point. Disgusting employee and disgusting place, is this is how they train their workers. Absolutely vial. Never come back here unless you want to get physically assaulted.

Macdintons is a soho classic. If you’ve never been to this bar, i recommend going on Thursdays for $1 beers or on Sunday for the bottomless mimosa deal. Always have a good time here.

Me and a few of my girlfriends came here on a busy Saturday night a few weeks ago and we had an amazing time. Our bartender was Michael and he was super attentive, fun, and had an amazing personality! I highly suggest this establishment and if you can find the handsome bartender Michael (with tattoos) I promise you, he will make your experience a great one!!! 5 star service!

Shout out to the staff that helped my fiancé and I yesterday afternoon! My fiancé and I were in the area for business I needed a place to eat lunch. We had our car parked at the office building so we walked to MacDinton‘s in the heat. We walked into the main bar area asked if they were open for lunch. The bartender said that only the outside was open at this time but offered to let us each lunch inside and obtained a server for us ( Kim) who was so sweet and efficient! We had the whole inside our area to ourselves and appreciated being inside after our walk in the Florida sun ! I wish I had gotten the name of the bartender but we really appreciated them are going above and beyond for great customer service! Thank you !

I was in town visiting some of my friends and we decided to try out MacDinton’s and we were not disappointed. It was such a fun crowd and atmosphere between the music and the drink specials. We had a blast, and our bartender Kaylee was amazing. She was so on top of things and managed to balance making drinks and making conversation with all of us and really made our night special. She’s an absolute rockstar! I’ll be returning to MacDinton’s every time I’m in the area.

Great college bar. Dance floor inside is small. It can get very hot and crowded. Good prices. Great college party spot. If you're over 25 and not into the crowded bar scene you'll probably not like it.

Outside and inside seating but no hostess. Sit yourself and hope someone will come serve you. Had to get up twice within 15 minutes to ask a bartender and one of there dozen security guards if anyone was going to come help. No fans outside so hope it’s breezy. Only valet parking with the sign pointing across the street at another restaurant but it’s not. Very big place with lots of seating but only 2 servers.

Come here every Saturday to watch Arsenal and English Premier league soccer. Great local crowd, great food, and great service. Haven’t been here much past the end of the matches, but heard the night life here is well.

Lexy is the best bartender I have ever had. When I wanted a drink she was there and it was made in a Milli second. She has been my bartender I have always gone too and I think the only one I will go to. She’s really great and will be the only reason why I am at happy hour right when it starts.

Every time I visit my friends in Tampa we always come here! It’s a great environment, super friendly bartenders, and good vibes over all. One of the bartenders, Kaylee, was so helpful when I had no idea what I wanted and was super quick getting me through the long line! Can’t wait to come back again!

Had a blast this past weekend at the Gaspy pregame at MacDinton’s! We got there a little after 9 and there was no cover! It also included a free Bud Light Seltzer and even a free breakfast buffet! Very busy place but has several bars inside and one outside. Plenty of bartenders so waiting to get a drink isn't a problem. Security staff is just a bit too uptight and rude but within the scope of the profession.

A happy hour/weekend/special event MUST visit location! The drinks are always well priced and taste great, and the bartenders never fail to provide something amazing when I ask them to surprise me. Definitely a favorite location for my friends and I, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon! Warning to those who don’t frequent the area: it is a very popular bar so use smart going out etiquette (anytime after 9pm): keep your phone in your front pocket, dont leave any purses/wallets lying around, and be respectful to the staff. If you adhere to these basics, you’ll love this place too!

The most fun, wildest place in Soho. I've been partying here for over 20 years. Now that I'm in my 40s I'm mostly ignored by the women -who all stay the same age (21-26) as I just get older.

Pretty lit place if you go at the right time. Only downside is the music is trash later in the night. They play songs from the 2000's and random salsa music and it really doesn't fit the vibe. More modern trap and hip hop would boost customer satisfaction 100%

The hot spot for all UT students and you'll sometimes see others in their late 20s to early 30s here, as well. The outside renovation was a good idea - I just wish they would have done the same for the bathrooms and dancefloor (fixing that slanted dancefloor that can get annoying). The music is usually good - you'll hear some popular up-to-date songs and even some throwbacks or house music if you're lucky. They have some specials throughout the week. Thursday's are typically $1 beers in the evening until close and Friday's are BOGO seltzers (High Noon or White Claw) - there are other specials that include gummy bear shots, whiskey and pitchers/buckets. Hit up bartenders Robert and/or Royce.

Nice little bar, college crowd, some pretty good food, pleasant staff, and prices are spot on. My only point deducted is for cleanliness. The floors inside by the bar smell of puke if they get wet, and they do every time I've visited.

Each bartender gives a different experience but overall it was average. Took a long time to get some drinks even when it wasn't ridiculously busy. I expected better.

This place is full of rich & snooty college students from New York & New Jersey. I am an Uber driver that picks up these people. They never tip and they think they are all it. My favorite is when they are jaywalking and I am nice enough to let them cross and they don't wave. Lol I don't know how this establishment is still open. I would like to know how many bartenders you go through in a year, considering these brats never tip us drivers.

I come into Macdintons probably twice a week and have a great time. As a service industry worker I appreciate that the bartenders are all great at their job & provide awesome service. Go in there sometime and seen Hannah W! She’s an awesome bartender and a blast to get drinks from.

Was with friends and really did not want to go to MacDintons because it was busy but my friends stopped anyway. It turned out to be so much fun and we received the best service ever from Hannah W, The drinks were spot on and Hannah knew exactly what we should try next. I came in this past weekend, drinks on soho tend to be expensive but Kiley took care of us and let us know all of the specials so we could have fun and still be affordable. I recommend the buff chick dip after a few drinks, it def hit the spot after bogo high noons

Not a bad spot, fun, decent music but very watered down drinks and the security are very very aggressive and provoke people. Spend a lot of money just to be thrown out and disrespected by staff for no reason. Always had a good time but lately the staff are just way too aggressive and feel empowered

Gender equality right?... the line for the women's restroom is a mile long and no one in the men's line...why can't anyone use the restroomis if they are vacant...???? We tried to use the men's restroom when no was in there and questioned my friend and moved them over....the free biscuits are great but they were still frozen solid...talk about getting sick and bathroom day -__-

I don’t typically enjoy the bar scene, but I loved it here when I visited Tampa for the first time with some of my friends. The main reason being that my bartender Kaylee was absolutely amazing! She was so attentive and fun that it really made me feel so welcome. She made my drinks perfectly and her energy was incredible! I could tell everyone around her was having a good time. Can’t wait to come visit Kaylee again soon!

Have been here before and had an awesome Time. However during my most recent experience the bouncer was very rude and would not let me in. I offered to show a second form of ID and he would still not let me, after having let it the rest of my party in ahead of me. Have never had a problem getting into a bar/ club before this experience and will not be returning.
