Five stars simply is not enough stars to accurately rate my experience! Came in last night for the first time and I was absolutely impressed. It wasn't a long wait to get seated, we were told 30 min but it was only 10. I'd recommend reservations if you want to make sure you're seated at a specific time frame and if you have a table preference. Our waiter Daniel was fantastic!! I made a point to ask his name just so I could add it to my review that's how much I enjoyed his service. He was the perfect amount of attentive but not overly done. Always made sure we had everything we needed in a very decent amount of time, quick and to the point which is what I love. The food here was equally as amazing. The pastas were both delicious and the deserts were nothing short of DIVINE! I will be back here again.... and again....and again!!! You know a company cares about the quality of their food when they put in extra effort like they did with their take out containers.

Went in the afternoon and sat outside. Very nice ambiance and not as crowded as inside. Customer service was top tier and main reason I’m giving 5 stars. Drinks were very good. I myself think I ordered the wrong things because out of my table, I was the only one who didn’t really like their food. My daughter and wife’s food was amazing and mine just wasn’t up to par for what I expected. Stuffed mushrooms didn’t have the taste I was looking for and the salmon dish wasn’t seasoned that much. Just kind of eh. I would definitely return and just order something else. Ordered the Stuffed mushrooms; Salmon with Crispy Calabrian shrimp; Frozen peach Bellini, Citrus mule

Normally Love this place however they must of had a off night. My eggplant parm was raw and the pasta was dry and cold. Our server seemed rushed and overall was not the same experience I am normally used to. I been to this location many times over the years with many different people for many different reasons and occasions and we will be back again, just disappointed this time around.

Maggiano’s is an Italian chain restaurant located in Tampa, FL. This restaurant is located in Westshore Plaza, a shopping mall close to many businesses and the airport. The vibe is very welcoming, and slightly upscale. The place is pleasantly loud, and can get busy, especially in the evening. So, make sure to get a reservation here! The service was very good; they took care of all our needs, and was quick with the food. They were very nice! The prices here are comparable to other chain Italian restaurants, but they are very good for what you’re getting. The restaurant even allows you to take pasta home for a discount! I got the Rigatoni D, the Lasagna, and Chicken Parmesan. The rigatoni was very good; there’s a harmonious blend of sauce, rigatoni, and everything else. Mushrooms and Chicken inside also made this dish very good. The lasagna was very good, and was soft, while the sauce made it even better. The Chicken Parmesan was crispy, and very good. For dessert, the chocolate cake was very good and rich; everything blended well together. Overall, Maggiano’s is one of the best chain restaurants out there. Would come here for any occasion; a casual trip, a birthday, a wedding, anything! Just make sure to get a reservation before going!

Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant. The food was delectable, especially the Salmon with Calabrian Shrimp. The peppered relish gives you the perfect kick, not too spicy just a perfect balance of flavors and Salmon was prepared just right. Service was unmatched, drinks stayed full yet not so attentive it was bothersome. Overall, this was the perfect family dinner date. As the kiddo loved the Flatbread pizza 😋

Great service with a smile. Drinks refilled and fresh hot food. The noise is a little loud but all Italian places are like that seats are comfy and prices are fair for the portions size and quality.

I've always loved Maggiano's but this time... not so much. I had the baked salmon with sautéed spinach in a lemon and wine sauce. More than half way through the meal, I pull out a long hair from my mouth. Now I realize this can happen anywhere but what matters is the manager, Lindsey, came over to our table and was super apologetic and offered our meal for free. They also made me another order which was delicious. Even so, the Italian experience is definitely worth returning and the music as well is very classic old school Italian Italian.

Great atmosphere, great food, and good service. The food is not cheap, but it’s good! The $5 add on for a classic pasta is an absolute steal of a deal - you should absolutely do it. I recommend the baked ziti or fettuccine Alfredo! I had the chicken Parmesan and it was a good portion size and one of the cheaper items on the menu. Really enjoyed it too!

This place is a must stop if you want an authentic Italian experience. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly, prompt, and gave great recommendations. I got the Chicken Frances and mozzarella marinara, and my cousin got the “our famous Rigatoni D”. You will not regret checking out this restaurant.

I had a very disappointing experience this afternoon. I choose this place to spend a goodtime with my daughter and everything was great until a found a wire twist tie in my food. I can’t explain the anxiety I felt at that moment wondering what’s going on in this kitchen and what else I could have from the food already eat from my plate. Two persons came to my table, I don’t kwon if they were the managers or assistant manager, they didn’t say. Then just the younger talked he give me a very standard apologize, basically he spoked like a machine playing a prerecording message very fast, not what I expect to smooth the situation. They offer me more food, obviously I didn’t want more food from that kitchen, so they left. Waitress came with my check; they don’t charge me for my dish just everything else. I gave the cost of my dish on tip to my waitress, she did a good job and that was my way to tell them this wasn’t about the cost of my dish, I choose your place to enjoy food and have a good time and you guys ruined, you guys don’t really care. You only have one thing to do.

I haven't been here in years because they was focusing heavily on pasta before. Just happen to walk by the menu because I didn't like PF's menu. I enjoyed the family style menu. It was perfect for my small family. 2 salads, 2 apps, 4 main, and dessert sampler. I'm not Italian but everything tasted good. Our bellies were full and would return. Our waiter was fantastic!!!

Maggiano’s is a top notch restaurant to visit if your in the mood for authentic Italian food! This place is perfect for family, romantic dates and also business conference meetings. They have valet parking and it is recommended to call for reservations ahead of time. The food is incredibly delicious and of course they have so many options to choose from the menu. I highly recommend trying this place out as #1 on the list.

Everything about this place was fantastic! From the second I walked in the doors I was greeted with such a wonderful energy. Our waiter was informative and was very attentive, I tried to make a point to remember his name but it was unique and well He was Spanish speaker because my parents did not speak English and that was awesome. I will be back again in the future!

This place has to be one of my favorite Italian restaurants ever. The food tastes better than most every other Italian restaurant. The flavors here with the food are amazing and fresh tasting. Lots of food so the price reflects the amount you get here. They do offer family portions for the whole table. The service was amazing here very helpful servers. The atmosphere is very friendly and nice so it makes it a great family restaurant but also a really great date spot restaurant. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Great Italian food and staff extremely friendly. We shared the Zucchini Fritte and for our main course my girlfriend had the Fettuccine Alfredo and I had the Five Cheese Ravioli. We ended the night with Gigi's butter cake for dessert.

This place was the best restaurant i’ve been to in i don’t even know how long! We did the marcos meal for two, which was an appetizer or two salads, 2 entrees, and a dessert for $43.99! We got the Margherita Flatbread which was really big and had the yummiest cheese, then we got the four cheese ravioli and baked ziti. The portions were amazing we had so many leftovers and it was the best pasta i’ve ever had! Then we got tiramisu and it had so much chocolate and love in it! It was a great portion. Our server was amazing she was super attentive and we pay attention being servers ourself. She impressed the both of us with how fast she got our order in and to our tables and she took every plate as soon as we were done so it wasn’t lingering on the table. Amazing!! I can’t wait to go back.

We had a private dinner with an open bar. Fair proces, the food was good. Staff was very friendly, asked if everything was perfect for our meal. This is definitely the place to have a high class meal.

A beautiful Restaurant with excellent food and staff. It has been awhile since we went to this location but going again soon. They have a huge selection and if you drink, you will love the bar. A little crowed on the weekends but understandably so. Fair price for their delicious food and very clean.

Any time I’m in the Tampa area I stop in at Maggianos. Their pomegranate Martini is top tier, the chicken Parmesan is amazing and definitely comparable to Carmines in DC. This is by far my favorite Italian restaurant to visit!

  • 3/5 Maria 1 year ago on Google
The food is decent, not really as "authentic" as you'd think. Although I forgot to snap a picture of the bruschetta, it was probably the worst thing we ordered for the table and I will not order it from here again. The bread tadtee store bought and didn't make me feel good, so I couldn't even eat it. It was overall tastless. The pasta's are decent, but I've had better in Tampa. The creme brulee was a good size and a nice dessert. They offer $5 take-home pastas of one of the classic pastas they offer if you order one during your dine-in visit. They do not have oregano, which was kind of surprising for an Italian restaurant. The place smelled a bit greasy/cheesy, but not in a good way, if that makes sense!

Great dinner with my husband. Plus, they have take home dinners for only 5.00 for "classic pastas"! Great deals, because these dinners cost are about 15 and up. The fried zucchini is awesome. I asked for ranch with the zucchini. My husband said the stuffed mushrooms were just okay. I had eggplant and husband had chicken and spinach manicotti. We both enjoyed everything. They served fresh bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. That wasn't my favorite, but was okay. I had an Arnold Palmer with unsweetened tea. My husband had a Sprite. We took home 5.00 baked ziti and cheese ravioli.

This place is one of our targets while on business in the Tampa Bay area. I’ve tried different dishes each time and it’s always delicious. The Baked Ziti, Mama’s Lasagna, and spaghetti all great. Try the Fried Zucchini, great start. Have the pomegranate martini as a drink, appetizer and desert. You’ll enjoy it.

The food was simply AMAZING. I’m a huge steak lover and the filet mignon was simply to die for. My husband had mom’s lasagna and my kids had the cheese ravioli and the grilled chicken and they thoroughly enjoyed their food as well. The location was great and had lots of parking and the restaurant had a lot of available seating that were adequately spaced. I’m happy that we chose to dine here on a whim. We will definitely be back when we’re in town.

First time and certainly not the last one.... very family friendly, excellent food, great music, they have a perfect menu for a family of 4 and it was soooo much food and you get to try ALL dessert! $39 per adult and $6 per kids (5 to 12 years old).

The food here is super delicious. The waitress and waiter are always super friendly and fast. We have been here so many times and I always work to try something different just to explore the menu. I have never been disappointed! I can’t wait for our next visit.

  • 4/5 Nolan C. 2 years ago on Google
Excellent food and big portions. I knocked off a star due to the prices. They are a bit high but there is a Marcos dinner for two for around $43 that gets you an appetizer(or two salads), 2 entrees and a desert which I felt made it definitely worth it. Atmosphere was nice with a big booth but it gets loud in there with it packed. Waitress was super nice.

Maggiano's was okay. The food was delicious, but the prices were not a great value for the money. My service was not great. It took forever to get a refill on my raspberry ice tea. They tried to deliver calamari to my table. I didn't order that. 😆 It had a string oder, and it was disgusting to me. It was very loud inside, too. Overall, I was missing my gorgeous Husband.

  • 4/5 Trisha S. 1 year ago on Google
The food here today was amazing! We did have to sit a while before or server came out but he was friendly. My son had a flatbread pizza, and the other had spaghetti and a big meatball. My chicken dish was on point and the portion size was huge!

  • 5/5 Gilbert T. 2 years ago on Google
Food was delicious a bit pricey but good has deals for two or more people at and affordable price went for a friends mother’s birthday and she enjoyed her food as well that lemon drop drink with that lemon cookie was phenomenal the waiter was sweet and polite and very patient with me lol i’m a little indecisive they serve you a bread with an oil and balsamic vinaigrette mix to dip your bread in I loved it. my chicken Alfredo was perfect. if I were to go on a date or meeting this would be an option dim light and beautiful patio although I prefer to be inside I hate the heat everyone was pleased with their meals and drinks

What a hidden gem in westshore mall! The food here was excellent and the service was wonderful. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely amazing! Got a lunch combo, so we thought the portions were going to be much smaller - we were wrong! Portions were huge and we had to take some home.

Did DJ at a wedding there, its a nice venue but want to call attention to the staff, especially a coordinator named George. The guy is on top of everything according to the planned time line, adjusting etc...there was a waiter there, thoughtful too. Older gentleman who made sure we had a refreshment. Happy and I'm sure the bride is too. Highly recommend

This was a recommendation from a new Yorker whom claims to know Italian food. Ambiance was cool and they offer outdoor seating. Outdoor and bar seating you don't need a reservation. We sat in the bar. The rigatoni was delish and I had left overs that fed me plus one, for dinner the next day too.

We went for my birthday this March. Wasn't sure how it would be because I heard mixed reviews. The food was excellent! The calamari was tender and cooked to perfection. We also had meatballs as an appetizer; they were so delicious. I never order meatballs at a restaurant because I like my own. My husband and I both had the frutti de mare. Omg, so good and fresh. Tons of quality food. We will definitely be back! Our server Julie was also very pleasant.

Service was ok. Food was good, but really expensive and barely any GF options. Also, they were out of or discontinued several items we wanted on the menu.

Made reservations for 2 great table. Wasn't busy it was 945 pm. Asked waiter for a drink a specific way my date even said she's knows what she wants....Sadly it wasn't what I asked for...maybe next time lol All in all a nice time food was awesome linguini with clam sauce

I Enjoyed the Italian food here. it was pretty busy on a Friday late night, but we still didn’t have any trouble getting a table. This place seem to have many people who go on dates, celebrating birthdays and etc. that like to come here. We were served complimentary bread with vinegar and oil. I started with their Italian salad and enjoyed every bit. Then for my main course I got rigatoni Arrabb. I wasn’t too crazy about the taste but it wasn’t bad. All of their cocktails are 12.50 so I decided to try their citrus mule. It gave a nice refreshing light taste.

This is a placw that holds a lot of nostalgia in for me as it's where me and my bf had our first date almost 8 years ago. Atmosphere is always very nice, gives off a very old school Italian feel. We had a reservation for 6:15 on a Saturday night, but really didn't have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for our table. I will say that it was pretty busy and so it does get a little loud in there and can sometimes be a little loud which makes having a conversation at the dinner table a little hard (but that's to be expected for most places on a Saturday night). We got the dinner for two special (~$45) that includes an appetizer, two pastas, and a dessert. We went with the calamari, chicken Alfredo, baked ziti, and for dessert we went with a creme brulee. Overall food is very rich and hearty, portions are quite large as well (we had to take home leftovers). Only thing that may be slightly negative is that the food can be pretty salty.

  • 4/5 Tango T. 1 year ago on Google
Had a group luncheon in one of their banquet rooms on a Saturday. Lunch for 40 people. The experience was overall good. The food here is very heavy traditional Italian American food with lots of tomato sauce. We got spaghetti and meatballs, lasagna, and chicken piccata. The chicken piccata was the best. The offerings for the gluten free guests were minimal. The salad was lovely and so is the Nona’s pound cake.

Great ambience. The service was great Our server David R was on top of our order and personal personable. We enjoyed talking to him. The food.was very good. The Bruschetta was outstanding. My wife had her favorite dessert, Terimissu, and said it was the best she ever had.
