Our party of 5 booked reservation for 7pm on a Friday night. We ordered the goat cheese dip, shrimp, and stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and all were very good. Ordered the cob salad before main course. The portion was so small and pathetic looking that I almost sent it back. It was good, but not worth $13. Ordered the truffle mac and artichoke hearts to go with our steaks and stuffed chicken. The food didn’t have any flavor especially the truffle mac. It was dry and didn’t have any cheese on it. Only one person complimented the meal; and my friend got food poisoning the next morning. Two star review because our server did an excellent job, but won’t be returning.

Absolute best steak house in Tampa! Hubby surprised me for our anniversary and they did not disappoint! Received special treatment due to celebrating our anniversary with rose petals on our table and a nice anniversary message on my dessert plate! Steak was amazing! Ahi Tuna was the best I have ever had; Service was superb and the atmosphere was delightful! It was pouring out when we left, so the valet parking was very convenient since they have a drive through car port! Would definitely recommend this fine establishment for your dining pleasure!

It was our first time here. We reserved a table for our anniversary. However, our server did not seem to know that we were celebrating our anniversary. The food was ok. Lobster was very salty and salad was soggy (not flavorful). Service was even worse. We spent one and half hours just waiting for service and waiting for food. I waited for about 20 minutes for my salad and it was very disappointing. Our server seemed to spend more time at certain tables. The food was may be a 4 star, but the service was 2 star. It was a very frustrating and disappointing experience for our anniversary.

Still one of the best steakhouses in Tampa. I wanna be mad at how expensive it is but, it is absolutely perfect from start to finish. The service is impeccable and the steaks are beautifully seasoned. They nailed medium rare. My partner also enjoyed their non-beef meat options. Also, bonus points for having bread pudding my favorite dessert! This is not an eat here everyday kinda place, unless you're loaded. For special occasions, it's perfect.

Food was delicious, service was great. I had a Ribeye that came out cooked to perfection! Both bartenders took great care of us the entire visit.

The food tasted good. I ordered my steak medium but it was medium well which is why I took a star off since I was going for the steak. The server was nice. The reason why I took another star off is because the table cloth had food particles on it when we were seated. The server said it was stains however you can clearly see it was food from someone prior. She did bring another linen napkin to place over it only because I asked. She did after asked if we wanted to move and we declined. They should've made sure it was clean prior to sitting us down. We were celebrating our 15 year wedding anniversary and mentioned it while talking to the server but she didn't pick up on the cues. Overall it was an okay experience but I'd probably go somewhere else next time if it's an important occasion. I may visit again for a regular night out if we're back in the area.

The two stars are for the wait staff who was genuine, kind and on top of things. A rundown: Filet was fantastic. And for $60 that’s the expectation. Crab cakes were boring at best. Semi bland and served with no sauce. Just three plain crab cakes you could get anywhere. Au Gratin potatoes were runny. So much cream and or butter. Left them sit to cool/settle and it didn’t help. And as you can see in the picture they aren’t even broiled except a tiny tiny bit in the corner. They aren’t even “au gratin” by definition. Creamed spinach was the same. Just a liquid concoction and cold somehow. No clue why anyone would return or rate this highly. $200 for what amounted to a good steak, with every single other item eligible for status at Outback at 1/3 the cost. Zero plans to return.

The food and service were amazing. I wasn't really interested in steak for dinner but it was my husband's birthday so I went with the flow but I must add, everything was amazing and I ate everything. It's expensive but the pre fixe classic meal hit both the food and wallet spot and I can't say enough about that bread pudding!!! It was 🔥.

The steaks are super tender and lobster macaroni and cheese tops!! Well over $100 per person. Wife's seat had worn -off vinyl and the place is "tired". How about spending a little of the fifty-dollar steak money on renovation? The portion was big enough to reheat and enjoy at home (see pics).

We ordered the Thanksgiving special meal for 6. Took it home the day before, and heated everything up in the oven. I used a pan for one of the sides simply to get the delicious smell flowing throughout the house. The sweet potato casserole was unbelievably tasty, as was everything else. We will definitely consider Thanksgiving dinner from Ruth's Chris in the future !

Amazing food and service. I'm not one for steak, but I ordered the steak and shrimp special, it was probably one of the best steaks I've had. The desserts were my favorite! 🍮🍰🍸

We went for our 30th Anniversary this evening, and I have to say it was the best steak I’ve ever had. While the food makes it, the service was outstanding! Alexandra was such a sweetheart and I explained the needs to know to us, as it was our first time dining there. Impeccable food and service from beginning to end. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

First, I ordered a $30 9 Oz. Glass of wine that was corked. I asked for bread and never got it. My steak was not medium it was overcooked. The side creamed spinach was floating in milk? My wine took 20 minutes to receive and I already had my entree. The cheesecake was not cheesecake omg what the hell did I eat for $250!!! I've been to most exclusive restaurants in the world in Qatar, Tokyo, Anguilla, Croatia and I swear to God I left to have better wine and food at Oliver Garden next door that's how sad that was. Save your $ go to Eddie Vs or Flemings. What a joke.

This is how a restaurant is run when the training is consistent and impeccable. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is quiet and does not reflect the level of activity going on around you. The tables are nicely spaced so that you feel like you have your own private dining experience. The staff is always professional and attentive. Alexandra and Preston were our servers that night and no detail was left unnoticed down to the cherries that were omitted from The Gambler’s Old Fashioned, which was delicious. Our steaks were delicious and well-cooked. I take advantage of the hot plate to give the middle a few more minutes of heat to get it to “my” perfect pink. The loaded baked potato may be my new favorite side. We celebrated my birthday but since none of the appetizers sparked an interest, Alexandra gave us a full-sized dessert key lime pie and it was exactly what we needed to finish off the meal and make turning 68 a little less painful.

We had a wonderful lunch on their last lunch of the year. We enjoyed the same elegant nighttime experience on a Sunday afternoon. All the food was great—Calamari, steaks, salads, asparagus, sweet potatoes, crème brûlée, and delicious wine. I hope they open for lunch again seasonally! A wonderful time celebrating my birthday with my family, with plenty of Sunday remaining to enjoy!

I want to start off by saying the staff, from Host to servers passing by, were extremely attentive and courteous as we walked in and out of the restaurant. This was our first time here and it was our Anniversary Dinner date. We were sat at a quaint little table with rose petals. The server, Diego, did a fine job in his recommendations and service. The food, ( taste, texture, temperature) was amazing. We ordered: The Garlic crusted Chilean Sea Bass, petite filet with shrimp, lobster tail, lobster Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts, sizzling crab cakes. Not to mention two glasses of 9 oz wine, and the blueberry mojito. ***My only disappointment was in the plating and presentation. The food that came out on the dish looked extremely sloppy. I looked at other photo reviews and saw this was common. Hence, the photos of the food we had, never were shared except here for a review. High end Steak Houses should take more pride in plating and presentation. It just adds to the experience, especially when you are paying a premium. All that being said, I would return. This was just something that speaks to me.

I remember when RC was real fancy. It was a big deal to go there and the food and service matched that. I don't feel like it's the same place. Quality and service seems to have gone down in the last few years. Nothing was bad but nothing was great. Certainly not worth the price tag. There's much better options at the price point.

What an incredible experience. First you are surprised by the excellent professionalism of the staff. Second the food is beyond anything you have experienced at most steak houses. We did the Ruth Classic which is a complete three course meal and the perfect intro for the first time visitor to the amazing quality of food available to you in future visits. The filet melted in your mouth along with the lobster. Our waiter, Julian, was professional, helpful, and a joy to talk with. His attentive nature was spot on without being in your face too much. We will definitely be back in the future

Let me begin by saying... I used to think very highly of Ruth. Chris, until I went in there to eat. Treating some clients to a special dinner you know. Obviously I wanted to pick up some new clients. Some very wealthy new clients and it was also one of their birthdays. Not that we were turned to celebrate there but it just taking our friend out for a good dinner and hopefully doing some good business. Well the cards were not in our favor that night as none of the food came out on time. Service was okay but again we were at Ruth Chris not Texas Roadhouse. We're at Ruth's. Chris, which, by the way, speaking of Texas Roadhouse... I'll take that place any day considering their price is fraction of what it is at Ruth's. Chris and their steaks are just as good. If not better! They hand cut their steaks and are probably ordering their beef from the exact same place . The atmosphere very dark. It's very very dark in there. So yeah if you're hungover or not very pretty then you'll be all right in there. Whether or not I'll go back. I don't know like I spent money in there that I wish I hadn't spent. Like I had regrets about spitting the money in there. Like if I hadn't been out with clients I would have asked for my money back and left service took forever. The server made us feel like we were bothering them by asking about anything, food or refills and I tried not to pay attention to it. Just focus on the clients but then the clients even noticed. It was embarrassing. Oh well. I guess next time I'll take him to Texas Roadhouse and I'll wine them and dine them there. Thanks for trying Ruth's Chris. I just wish it had lived up to its vision in my mind. I was really wanting to use that place for a date night out here

We were so excited for this place to celebrate my brothers birthday. This place is highly over rated. The sides were the best part of the visit. Everyone had steak. The steaks had no flavor and the cuts of meat were not the best. I expected tender, juicy, melt in your mouth steak however, or steak experience was the opposite. Now for the sides, The sweet potatos, Mac and cheese, and brussel sprouts were all good. I'm sad to say I will not be visiting here again. The service was slow. Way too expensive for the food, service and there's no special experience that was received to justify the price.

Mario was our waiter. He was informative and friendly. Good for a nice romantic dinner or special occasion. The food was delicious. Steak was top-notch for flavor and tenderness. My second time at this location. Ahi tuna is a must. Best I have ever had.

Visited Ruth’s Chris Steak House for a birthday and the experience was amazing. The sides were delicious as well as the steak 🥩. Was debating if I should get a Shirley Temple or Coke and our waiter combined it! Best Drink ever. Great Dinner.

Yummy food and great vibe! Came during my work trip and was a perfect place to just unwind, have a martini and be catered to by the amazing employees! Guillermo brought me out my food and he was so friendly! Patrick took care of me and was very helpful on making a decision on what to eat! Thank you both! Great place and highly recommend!

Ribeye came out very chewy..but they allowed us to order the sea bass which was delicious...neither of us liked the lobster bisque and again, they took it back, no questions asked. The bread pudding, mac n cheese and shrimp were phenomenal.

I had an amazing dinner at Ruth's Chris Steak House in Tampa. The restaurant is elegant, cozy and inviting, with a warm and friendly staff. The service was impeccable, attentive and professional, and they made me feel special and pampered. The food was outstanding, from the appetizers to the desserts. I started with the crab cakes, which were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a delicious remoulade sauce. For the main course, I had the filet mignon, which was cooked to perfection, juicy and tender, with a rich buttery flavor. It came with a side of mashed potatoes, which were creamy and smooth. I also tried the creamed spinach, which was flavorful and fresh. For dessert, I had the chocolate sin cake, which was decadent and moist, with a chocolate ganache topping. It was a heavenly way to end the meal. Ruth's Chris Steak House in Tampa is a perfect place for a special occasion, a business meeting, or a romantic date night. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a superb steak house experience in Tampa.

The food was delicious. The prices are very high. I enjoyed my family. Don't know if I would return. Not to discourage anyone from going. If you can afford it, the food is really good. I only gave it 4 stars because of the prices and parking.

We had the porter house dinner for two. The sizzling hot 🍽 plates with 🧈 butter were amazing. Our steak was medium rare and cooked to perfection. It almost melted in my mouth. The raspberry drink 🍸 😋 was delicious. We ended the evening with creme brulee.

The food was amazing! 5 stars on that sadly I ended up feeling sick shortly after leaving barely making it home a few miles away. Has been 24hrs and my stomach is finally settling. Made the rest of date night very unpleasant. For the food Had the special, filet mignon with lobster . Both were fantastic and could almost hear angels singing as I ate it. For the sides the au gratin potatoes (they were cubed instead of slice) they were good but not out of this world. The asparagus was nice and thick but lacking in taste besides the sauce. The salad and bread were fantastic. Had the rose lemon martini that was heavenly.

I am rating a full 5 star. I have never given a high rating but let me tell you tonight’s experience was absolutely amazing. Management please give Mario some form Of recognition because he was attentive, knowledgeable, suggestive of pairings and reassuring of choices. If I had my own business I would take Mario from you guys. Now on to the food. I had the bone in NY strip which was advice by the server if you didn’t like too chew too much on meat and let me tell you it was absolutely delish from taste to temperature to the parmessan crust. Me and my wife also ordered the calamari which were lightly breaded and equally as amazing. Finally, The drinks were spot on as there was no detail left out and right amount of alcohol content as well.

The room was way too cold. It made the food get cold fast. I wasn't a fan of the cocktails, way too bitter. Steak was delicious, sides were okay, could use more flavor. Creme brulee and bread pudding was delicious!

Great service and food. Super expensive but very nice for a special occasion. We went for a birthday dinner and they brought out a wonderful little cheesecake dessert for the birthday. I had the blue cheese and bacon salad and petite filet with shrimp. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly.

  • 5/5 Josh D. 2 years ago on Google
Really beautiful elegant atmosphere with food to match. I got the filet and it was plump juicy, incredibly tender and melted in your mouth; along with the lobster. Which was probably one of the best I've ever had, delicious. Our server was incredibly kind & helpful also, thanks guys!
