The front desk attendant was extreme nice. I don’t like to discredit good customer service because people can be people if you know what I mean but this stay was horrible. I thought I was in a scary movie. I am an titanium elite member with Marriott so I’ve stayed in a few hotels (for business and for personal). This experience was a joke. When I arrived to the room I already knew it was the best. The building is extremely old and outdated (that was okay with me. . I am on business and didn’t care about being somewhere glamorous) but when I walked in the room seemed dirty. The fridge was leaking and everything had water stains. It looked like they either didn’t clean or they didn’t clean properly. What made me complain was the brown stains on the sheets. I immediately requested new bed sheets. I finally got settled in and I’m dosing off but when I look up there’s a huge spiders next near the curtain with the spider and his hostages. The next was so big, I could immediately tell he had been there for months. It was so big I thought I was in a Spider-Man movie (not even being funny). I immediately requested to switch rooms. It’s now almost 11 pm and I switch to a second room. When I turn on the lights , roaches scatter. There was even some that stayed on the counter and hung out as I walked through the doors of the apartment to the counter they were hanging out on (clear sign of infestation ) at that point I was scared to sleep at this place. I could only imagine leaving my bags here for 5 days and taking an infestation home with me. My reservation was cancelled and I was left stranded in Tampa.

Very nice and clean rooms. Didn't like the bathroom had no exhaust fan and the AC could have gone colder but all in all nice

Great place to stay, clean, friendly, and location. Breakfast was a good spread of everything you would want for breakfast. Bathroom had everything you need to shower. The kitchen in the suite was perfect. All you really had to do was bring your clothes and food and you would be all set. They have everything else you would need.

Absolutely fantastic! All the way around! I booked in advance on the Bonvoy app, and called to ask a couple of specific questions. The GM, Jake, was extraordinarily helpful and courteous. He and the entire staff made us feel welcomed and appreciated. The pool needed a light replacement, but the maintenance engineer worked diligently to make the pool available to us within no time. The ladies in charge of breakfast kept the food fresh, warm, and the area clean. The house keepers greeted us with smiles every time we walked by. The rooms were clean, neat, and the linens were spotless. I can not say enough good things about Ms. Cynthia at the front desk. She went above and beyond for my group as well as every other guest I saw walk in. Its obvious that Jake’s hospitable attitude Is the standard at this location. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone staying in tampa. It’s close to 75, shopping, and restaurants. It was such a wonderful experience going out of town but being taken care of so well.

Excellent experience. I used the mobile app to check in and wanted to use the mobile key. We weren't ever able to get that to work for whatever reason, however they more then made up for that with the attentive and happy staff. I called the front desk from my door, they reset the mobile key, still didn't work. There was a staff member down the hall a bit that hard I was having issues and let us into our room while another member brought our physical keys up. This is customer service.

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was. We ended up staying here due to Hurricane Ian. Our home was without power for a week. The entire staff was awesome. The GM, from desk, Maintance crew and cleaning staff all were great! Pet friendly was wonderful too! I have never had such a wonderful time during a stressful time like the Hurricane! Thank you all… your kindness was very appreciated!!!

Super great location! Extremely clean! Rooms are beautiful and spotless. Dog friendly. There's a pool, breakfast served. Nice clean lobby and plenty of parking. I'd definitely stay here again; it's close to shopping and eateries.

No traffic. Quiet. Clean rooms. Great breakfast. Only negative is almost no water pressure in bathroom sink. Bed could have been a little more comfortable. I would definitely come back.

Check in was a bit odd. The female associate "upgraded" me to a king bed from a queen bed. I said fine as long as there were no additional fees. We also had a two night stay under two different reservations due to point usage and I mentioned several times I did not want to change rooms. She assured me we wouldn't have to. The Marriott website seem to indicate the hotel was "almost sold out". I don't know if that's sales tactic, but I barely saw anyone in the hotel, lobby for breakfast or parking lot. The next day, I went to get a new key as is required with a reservation change. The new associate tells me I may have a rate change over the price on my reservation due to the upgrade. I told her I was basically forced into the upgrade so why do I have to pay or move? She got her supervisor's approval to waive the additional fees. Another strange thing was we were told in the middle of they day that there is no "concierge" service at this hotel when we requested additional blankets. I've never heard of this except late at night when there is limited staff. Breakfast was very good on Sunday morning. Lots of options. I usually hate hotel eggs as they taste fake to me. These were great. Tasted like homemade and I looked forward to them Monday morning. Unfortunately, Monday breakfast was super limited. I don't know if they were short staffed, didn't have enough food, or, that's typical for them to put out a breakfast sandwich and a few other options. I was disappointed.

One night stay for work. Room was comfortable, it was a one bedroom suite. Perfect for if you need to get work done or have an extended stay and want a separate save to watch TV, play games etc. Kitchenette has fridge and microwave. Breakfast was standard hot and cold items. There is an outside grill, fire pit and pool. Convenient location off I75/I4.

Extended stay. Taking away one star for strange menu fraud distribution seems to occur only when a particular staff is working front desk. And how are the menus put in tight door jambs without key access? She doesn’t like it when I turn menus in and report unauthorized access and fraud menus in hotel. She is annoyed with me for looking out for other guests. Most hotels will warn guests not to order from these menus. Not her. She becomes rude and spins her chair to put her back to me oand watch tv when I am still speaking to her. Seems to me like she may be in on it. All other staff are very friendly and accommodating. Updated to all 5 stars for outstanding service. Will recommend highly

I can not say anything about this hotel. I had surgery and was staying here to heal a couple of days before I would fly home. The staff Victoria, Cynthia were so kind and supportive. Bringing extra pillows to my room. Always asking my husband what more they can do for me. I am thankful I picked this place. Thank you all so much for everything!

I haven’t stayed here yet, but when I say that the front desk specialist, Ms.Dominique, was most helpful, I MEAN IT!!! Just off her customer service alone, I can already tell this is going to be a great stay🙌🏾‼️

This is a really nice hotel. What makes it really nice is the people that work here. I spend 1/2 of my life in hotels. This is a very clean hotel. Has a nice gym. Breakfast is really good. The rooms are huge. Full size refrigerator, coffee maker, nice size tv, big bathroom. But with all that what makes it really nice is the staff they have working here. They must put something in their drinking water. They are always in an uplifting mood. I work a sixteen hour day. Their smile is good to come “home” to. Dominique & Cynthia always welcome as you come through the door. Marriot is lucky to have you. If I ever open a hotel I’m stealing you both.

During my experience at the following hotel, the only highlight was the associate at check-in! The hotel cleaning staff came into my room a total of 3 times while occupied even with the do not disturb tag on the door! The cleaning staff entered my room after I expressed no services were needed. While on a work Zoom, the staff comes into the room on me at 8:30 am. The staff then attempt a total of 2 more times before 11 am. The staff knocked once and thereafter use the key to just walk into the room. Even if I was checking out, which I wasn’t that was completely rude! I then experienced termites in the room kitchen and living room area. I attempted to remove a paper towel from the roll, I experienced a termite crawling on the paper towel. I then realize the kitchen countertop was full of termite wings! I purchase pizza which I was unable to eat, due to termites being on the table. There was a light over the table and wings all over my box of pizza and table! I informed management and was offered an apology, where he expressed there were some areas of training needed! The manager was also deceptive and unauthentic. My entire experience was unacceptable! Marriott lost business as a customer, I can not support this hotel and its team!

Came in for wedding, 2 nights, had to come a day early because a hurricane was going to interfere with travel on the planned day. the rate was double. $313! I was not happy blah blah blah contract with wedding only 2 nights. this hotel is ok but not worth $313 a night especially when the elevator is not working, and the internet was also down all day yesterday and night. the room is a suite with vivalavirgen kitchenette, bedroom, with second big TV, closet and sink area, and bath/shower and toilet. set up nicely. Fridge and 2 burner stovetop microwave. , Lots of charging outlets, nice desk area , TV lighting excellent in living area,as is bath mirror lighting, Rooms have sprinkler system and smoke detectors. The bed , queen fairly comfortable, no back aches. The drapes have drops of blood on them, the sleeper couch is somewhat stained, couch pillows scary, otherwise the room was clean and i saw NO bugs. The overall impression is the room is a little tired. carpet in main areas is worn and needs to be replaced. AC/and heat both worked well. Its a nice hotel for $155 a night way overpriced at $313.

Super clean and roomy place with a full kitchen w/ utensils. Even gave dish detergent and scrub. The breakfast was also well provided. I havnt seen a waffle machine in a long while. This is also the only hotel ive stayed at recently that offered paper plates instead of plastic ones that werent cleaned well. Good thin-crispy bacons.

The hotel is nice and clean. The rooms need a little updating. The front desk clerk was very nice. No complaints thus far.

Overall not a bad experience, the rooms could have been cleaner. 1st night walking in the room right off the bat found a dead bug followed by a live one then a few more dead ones. The next day house keeping made the beds but that's it did not replace the towels tp or wipe anything down. The room served its purpose. We are fans of Residence Inn.

My wife and I stayed at the Residence Inn for almost six weeks while I house was being repaired after a major water leak. We had a very pleasant experience. The bedroom was comfortable, and the living room/kitchen was nicely laid out. The refrigerator and small stove in the kitchen area gave us chance to prepare and eat simple evening meals on several occasions during our stay. Two things though stand out. The first is the friendliness of all the staff who never failed to smile and wish us good morning or afternoon. The second is the excellent breakfasts with a choice of scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon or cereal or fruit or pastries or freshly made waffles. Simply delicious.

My fiancé and I will always be staying here when we come to town! Every single employee went above and beyond for us. The first 2 days of our vacation were extremely frustrating and disappointing due to accommodations we had booked elsewhere over 6 months prior. Long story short we ended up finding this Residence Inn property and knew we finally had a nice place to lay our heads at night. We rolled in at 11pm having hardly slept at all in two days and Cynthia immediately made us feeling welcome. The rooms are amazing and the staff is even better. Every single employee is outstanding but two really stood out to us and made us feel like we’d known them our entire lives - Marc (the assistant GM) and Cynthia (who works at the front counter.) We had a very busy trip as we were here for a funeral and my fiancé also had an engagement planned I did not know about. The congratulated us, spent time talking to us and getting to know us so much that that we just might invite them to our wedding. They even checked on us once they knew we were here for a funeral. Bottomline this place is amazing. We would give them 11 starts out of 5 if we could. We will on stay here from now on when visiting family in the Tampa area. TLDR: great place, great location, great breakfast, best staff ever. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when visiting this area.

The room was clean, comfortable and met our needs. The staff was warm, friendly and helpful. I didn't give it 5 stars because our room (108) was noisy and got no sun. We were next the maintenance and staff lounge areas. At 2 AM every morning the maintenance room would start vibrating. Then a staff member would go in about 5 AM and address whatever the problem was. The staff would meet up in the lounge (8-9) and talk as they should before their shift. The doors are so heavy that you can hear every door close as if ithey were being slammed. Not sure how these issues could be resolved but I hope the owners think of some ideas for folk like me who came to rest and sleep in.

When I walked in to check in, I was greeted by two very friendly men. I told them what I was there for and that I wouldn’t be able to make it to breakfast. They offered me snacks to take for the next day. They also gave me extra coffee to make. The room I was in was extremely clean and nice. I had enough towels for the two days I was there. The bed was comfy and clean. When I was able to attend breakfast, it was being kept stocked by a super helpful women. She kept everything nice and neat. Checkout was easy and quick and I would recommend staying here to others. The only downside is that there are no restaurants close by. Maybe the closest was a ten minute drive. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 weeks, everything was great. The rooms and the service and the staff except for their Assistant General Manager Rebecca. Who was so rude and lacked professionalism and manners on how to talk to guests. She really needs more training on how to treat guests. Thanks.
