The black coffee & matcha was on point! Love the Southwest Breakfast Wrap ♡ the Bacon & Egg Everything Bagel was a little bland. Both of the workers were really pleasant. There was only 1 coffee person & 1 food person so went it became busy it was a wait 10-15mins. Its worth the wait!!

This has been my go to place for over 3 yrs now. They've always had a lovely atmosphere and staff. The past few months have been terrible. Poor service, rude staff, 30-45min wait times for coffee, and the prices over the past few weeks have skyrocketed with over a $3 increase per coffee. That's absurd. No thanks!! There are far too many other places to go around here now. I'll take my local business elsewhere.

The wait for food is 40+ minutes and drinks 30+ mins. There was also a homeless person aggressively disturbing customers and staff did nothing about it. Very disappointing, considering that coffee was not bad.

This place is small and cute — the coffee was very good coffee. We got a breakfast burrito and a bacon egg and cheese bagel — both amazing! They make their food to order, so it’s customizable if you don’t want diary on a sandwich, for example. It does take some time to prepare, but why not stop and smell the coffee every now and then? Highly recommend!

Great little coffee shop with breakfast options in a neighborhood that is short on breakfast spots. It’s small so not super conducive to hang out and work here, especially now during Covid otherwise I’d come here way more than I already do.

Location is good but that’s about it. Asked for a nitro cold brew, gave me a regular iced coffee and then looked at me like had 5 heads when I asked if “this is mine?” No parking to run in and out. Girls behind register rude and not really respectful, young kid making the coffees nice guy. Just say you don’t have nitro cold brew on tap if you don’t sell that. I’m done with the place.

Food was good. I know it's the standard these days but nothing gets my blood boiling more than getting prompted for a tip with the options being 20%+ when it's counter service and I'm doing the work. I know it's optional but it's unpleasant to be put on the spot like that. The burden to pay employees a fair wage shouldn't fall on me and asking for 20-30% is beyond absurd for counter service. It's distasteful.

Iced Mocha with Almond milk. Super delicious, staff really nice, and I didn’t find the coffee to be overpriced. Get in line sooner than later it is usually busy.

We had the butterbeer latte, dirty chai, southwest wrap, and loxie bagel. Everything was delicious! We were surprised by the food— really good for a cafe. Good vibes too.

Great place to recharge and get some work done. The Breakfast Croissant was excellent. Coffee was almost as good as the exceptional service from Hannah and Amaya.

I never write restaurant reviews but for Victory Coffee I had to. I just moved to Tampa yesterday and was looking for a new go-to coffee shop. This is the one, let me tell you. From the tranquil atmosphere, to the genuinely friendly baristas, this place has to be my new go-to. They served me right away, the coffee is so delicious, and reasonably priced. Thank you for helping me find the perfect go-to coffee place :)

By far the best neighborhood coffee shop in the channelside district. The employees are always professional and kind. The balt sandwich is my favorite. Alex makes it just right! I can't brag enough about the staff.

I think it's crazy to write a review about a place in regards to their tipping options.... I LOVE THIS PLACE and the employee deserve every dollar they can get. I love that there is a Lavender Latte and will continue to order it till I die. I always order ahead though because they can get busy!

Super chill, quiet, decent size tables with local art. Great iced coffee (nitro was the kind we tried). Loved the Lavender iced tea and banana one (forgot the names) my husband tried. We got the protein balls they make in house. After trying, my husband bought two more 😂 We will def be back.

Stopped here with some friends and had a great time. Got a flat white and an iced cafe con leche as well as the bagel with lox. Everything were delicious. The lox spread had a little spice to it which was really nice. Staff were friendly and patient and everything was clean. Appreciated all the board games too!

amazing cafe on channelside! possibly the best tasting espresso and food in the city. sandwiches are made with simple and fresh ingredients and are to dieee for. they also have unique pastries that are just as great. all the staff are incredibly nice as well. if you’re thinking about checking out a new coffee spot, this is definitely the go to. deserves a lot more recognition

Great place, good location, chill vibes. However, the price of items on the menu is high considering the quality. I feel that I am mostly paying for an atmosphere where nothing particularly exciting is happening. My question is why I would not go to the nearest Starbucks instead, and I can't answer that question in a way that favours Victory Coffee. It is slightly nicer here than your standard Starbucks (furnishings, decorations, slightly more modern design), but there is no substantive difference in vibes and a significant markup on price-to-value ratio. Effectively, this gives off the feeling of an upscale coffee place that doesn't have much quality to offer. Personal opinion - given this shop's location, it's not going to draw a crowd that I really want to be around or a part of when I'm thinking upscale coffee shop. Atmospheres need to draw a particular clientele as an essential part of the value proposition. Some groups have synergistic qualities they bring to a concept, while others are more counterproductive. This is one of those cases of the latter, when the clientele drawn clash with the provided atmosphere. Good effort, well-intentioned, safe concept, but a misfire on the execution.

Popped in for a nice coffee, girls had a yummy cuban grilled cheese. Strawberry tea was great! My flat white was delicious. My girl loved her peaches and cream!! Thanks to the staff, nice chill atmosphere. Muffin was also yummy.

I had the best experience at victory coffee during my girls trip. Li, Devin, and Jania handled our large order like pros. We could taste every drop of love poured into our coffee and our sandwiches were a work of art.

I have tried a lot of coffee and this place is up there on my top 3. I love the lavender oat milk iced latte. They also have a punch card system which I can also appreciate. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 is that the food is just not good. I have also waited a very long time the last few times I’ve gone. They really need to add another staff member but I understand that can be hard.

This coffee is out of this world. Growing up on Starbucks and perfecting my drink had me hesitant to try something similar on Victory's menu. Not only is Victory my favorite coffee shop now, but I can't remember the last time I went to Starbucks. I've been back to Victory almost every day since my first cold brew order here. All said, the best part of the experience is the staff! Do yourself a favor and try Victory the next time you need your coffee fix.

Barista was very polite and answered all the questions I had. I ordered a Mocha and it tasted perfect. They also have bakery items for a quick bite.

While the coffee here is great. the sandwiches are over priced and have no flavor. I got heir bacon egg and cheese, and since it was 8 dollars I expected it to taste good. It’s just tasted plain the and dry.

Absolutely incredible experience two days in a row! Yesterday was my first experience at Victory Coffee, and to say I was impressed is an understatement. I was greeted the second I walked through the door, and the lovely barista was amazing. She explained the breakfast sandwiches to me in detail, even though I could have easily scanned a menu. I got the iced lavender, honey, oatmilk latte, and it is quite honestly one of the best lattes I have ever had. The egg-white breakfast wrap was to die for, and while the sandwiches do take a little bit longer, because they are all handmade to order, they are well worth the wait!! She even waited to steam the milk for my husbands latte until the food was almost ready so it would remain hot. 10/10 would recommend. 10/10 went back again this morning. 10/10 have found my new favorite coffee shop!! (I noticed a few people had ordered ahead of time, so if you're in a rush and want delicious food, definitely do that instead of going elsewhere)

Really chill coffee spot with some delightful menu offerings. Iced Pistachio Latte was smooth and sweet. Within walking distance of the aquarium and arena too!

Friendly vibe in this little coffee shop. Order the Loxie bagel and you will be treated to a real delight. Smokey, salty lox mixture with capers makes for an out of this world bagel. The coffee was also first rate. You can also purchase bottles of wine for takeout here which are surprisingly reasonably priced.

The oat milk lavender latte is the most amazing coffee I’ve ever had. I’ve yet to find any that compares to it.

Truly outstanding lattes. My gf and I walk past a Starbucks and other coffee shops so that we can get to Victory. The baristas are very consistent and the drinks are well made and not too sweet. Quality coffee.

Great food but slowest coffee shop in Tampa. It will take 30-60 minutes for a simple breakfast sandwich. They never answer the phone and their online ordering system is terrible.

First time coming here. Asked for a bagel with butter and a latte. Got a STALE bagel with no butter. The latte was horrible. Totally overrated. I'm not sure what the big deal is about this coffee shop.

Coffee was good and the blueberry muffin was fire. Friendly barista too. However wait time was horrendous on Sunday @ 945am. Staffing may be an issue. 20 min wait for coffee. 25+ minute wait for breakfast sandwiches.

  • 5/5 Chris N. 1 year ago on Google
Always friendly staff, extremely efficient and knowledgeable. Yes, wait time for food is 10-20 minutes during peak hours, but food is made from scratch, so well worth it. Specialty coffees take time to make amd make properly, they do a superb job of making sure you are properly served.

I love this place. I go almost every day for either coffee, breakfast or lunch. Their sandwiches are fresh and delicious, and they have some creative lattes. They also have beer and wine for those days...

Their food and coffee is fine, but this place is a homeless shelter now. I think the employees give out free coffee to this homeless woman everyday, who in turn spends all day outside of the restaurant, throwing garbage everywhere, and leaving her shopping cart full of other garbage blocking the street/sidewalk. There will be a family with small children who are waiting to board their cruise ship sitting outside, with a chain smoking schizophrenic homeless woman, screaming nonsense right next to them. Charity is one thing, but this ain't it.
