Love the roast of the coffee ☕️ they have!!! A morning drink sure to keep you running throughout the day. A great place to start your journey in Ybor city and to get an energy boost for the walking 🚶‍♂️ Loved the atmosphere and the friendly staff too 😍!!!

Great little coffee shop with a great logo in the heart of Ybor. The pour over was extremely delicious and their specialty drink was good as well. I have removed two stars because of the female working today-she seems to like to talk…a LOT…I stood behind someone waiting for over 12 min at the register while she “chatted” with him-seeing me stand there knowing I’m waiting to order-but her personal conversation was much more important. Then-waiting for my drinks-she stands around talking to other coworkers who were trying to work-until one stopped her mid sentence to tell another guest and myself that our “orders are coming right up”. Her talking made others wait over 10 min for their drinks. She then walks from behind the counter to go and sit with the man who had been in front of me at the order section, to sit and chat some more with him-while the trash can directly behind her chair was overflowing and the place was quite dirty. Absolutely the worst type of employee to have at a coffee shop.

The cost of a grande coffee latte is $5 but I was charged $6.45, the coffee is over toasted which gives it an extra flavor interesting but not what I prefer. Overall taste good, the ambiance is inviting and cozy. Recommend it.

Very helpful staff, low-key / chill vibes at opening hour on a Sunday. Ordered the breakfast bagel and Avocado toast iced coffee and a cortado. Great spot for breakfast.

4.5 stars? On what? I gave it one star for the coffee. Breakfast sandwiches were not that good. $9 for a piece of bread, eggs a tomatoe and some leaves, not even bacon! Just a bland sandwich. Overpriced and not really that good. I wish they would have at least a dunkin donuts in Ybor city, it was hard to find an actual restaurant that served real food or in my case, real breakfast.

The Blind Tiger in Ybor city is a great place to grab some food and a hot beverage! I would describe the staff as goofy and friendly. Definitely a lively and eclectic bunch. The food is fabulous and they give very generous portions. The breakfast sandwich is enough for two people, or one really hungry person. Come on down and see em at the Blind Tiger; you won’t believe your eyes.

For the Friday morning i was looking for a coffee and breakfast place and came across The Blind Tiger Cafe. The cafe's atmosphere was amazing and loved the decor. Cool cafe with different coffee options as well options to eat. After browsing through the menu I ordered Hot Cafe Con Leche, Pumpkin Bread, Thai Tea, Avocado Toast and Butter Croissant. From the order first I got the coffee and Thai tea and then I got different food options that I ordered. The coffee was freshly roasted as well as hot. I loved the coffee. The pumpkin bread was delicious and I loved the bread. One of the amazing pumpkin bread I ever had. We loved the butter croissant and avocado toast as well. Both were delicious and tasty. Amazing food. One little disappointment was the Thai tea. It can be made better. Rest everything was up-to the mark and amazing.

THE STORY: The first Blind Tiger Cafe started at this location in Ybor City. (There are six locations in Tampa.) Owner Roberto Torres and his founding partners had a desire to bring great roasted coffee flavors back to a city that was known for its historic richness. Inspired by the tailored and crafted feel of a speakeasy, the founders wanted to start a Blind Tiger (a slang term for speakeasy) of their own. They wanted to sell quality, original roasts that were “so great tasting, it would seem illegal.” The Blind Tiger is “a speakeasy-inspired lifestyle brand for those who desire quality and richness in the small pleasures of life.” SUGGESTED ORDER: I love the cold brew. PRO TIP: There’s a hidden menu item you might consider: The Bee Sting — Almond milk. Honey. Turmeric ginger tea. Delicious. IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Columbia Restaurant, the oldest restaurant in Florida is two blocks east. (Great curbside takeout, btw.) across 7th Avenue, Zydeco Brewing makes great craft beers and has a fun menu. Chill Bros. Ice Cream a few doors over has awesome sweet treats. And one of the oddest places in Tampa, Dysfunctional Grace, is next door to Blind Tiger. Tagline: “The only shop in Ybor where death and dysfunction dance in a graceful ballet.” Visit at your own risk.

What is better on a hot day in Ybor City? Iced coffee from the Blind Tiger. What a unique atmosphere with options for everyone. The iced coffee was made to order and prepared in no time. The staff was so very polite and willing to answer questions. Thank you Blind Tiger for making our visit one to remember.

We eat here quite often when we're on that side of town. Blind Tiger (particularly the Y'bor City location) is the quintessential cafe. The food is good and the service is always friendly.

Cool cafe that also sells whole beans and merch. Didn't have food, just a Cappuccino and it was tasty. Great location!

Super cute coffee shop in the heart of ybor city with great coffee and tea options and a fun vibe inside. I got the lavender nitro cold brew and savored every sip.

Coffee and tea is served scolding hot. There are no pour over options. There are no coffee options when you order a cappuccino for example. I wouldn’t recommend unless you want to burn your tongue.

Thoroughly impressed with the coffee flavors. Simple food selection, incredibly tasty... Cozy ambience, good music, welcoming professional yet friendly staff. It is very easy access from the highway. Will definitely repeat visit.

Dirty Thaiger and and Cafe Bombon we’re delightful!!!!! Croissant sandwich with egg and cheese and fresh greens and garlic aioli was out of this world! Caprese sandwich was tasty and light. Can’t wait to come back. Love the atmosphere!

The food was soooo good! I got the Avocado toast and my husband got the breakfast sandwich and both were delicious!

Love the atmosphere service and the coffee but the food is never that great. I’ve given like 3 chances. The tomatoes are always pink/white and squishy. The bread is hard and the cheese is hardened to the bread it’s bad. The macarons are great I 100% recommend. I’ll be back for coffee And vibes! And they allow dogs I love that 🫶

You have to try the Dirty Thaiger! It's a delicious twist on a Dirty Chai, and its not overly sweet! The breakfast sandwich was delicious and filling And the place had a chill vibe!

Amazing service, atmosphere, and food!!! I had their delicious turkey BLT and came back the next day for another! Freshly made and their teas were loose leaf deliciously brewed. Dairy and egg intolerant friendly. Plenty of outlets for electronics.

Great spot to get a coffee or tea and they also serve some sandwiches. The new location has so much space to sit down and talk with friends or get some work done!

I visited Ybor City about 5 years ago to buys some hand rolled cigars. We stopped at The Blind Tiger Cafe for a coffee and I took some photos of the decor. My daughter loved the pics and I took her there last week for lunch when we had to go to Tampa. Had some great sandwiches and my daughter loved the mint tea. The story of how the place got it's name is amusing as well.
