👍👍 My fiance and I happened to get an Airbnb just down the street from this absolutely wonderful coffee shop. We were visiting from Miami, so the Cuban vibes had us feeling like we were home. The food was spectacular, the service even more so. We can't wait to go back, next time we're in town. People often mention coffee, shop, great, good, friendly, sandwich, Coffee, breakfast, love, staff,

WHERE TO PARK: 22nd Street has a dedicated parking lot. There’s also neighborhood parking adjacent to the shop. THE STORY: This family owned coffee shop is an offshoot of Brisk Coffee Roaster, which originated on the corner of 8th and 15th in Ybor City, in 1968 with a 100-pound batch roaster, a small warehouse, one delivery truck and a passion for fine coffees. Today, BRISK is one of the largest independent roasters in the Southeastern United States, with offices in Tampa, Ft. Lauderdale, Miami and Atlanta. Denise Reddick is President and CEO. The coffee shop, which opened about two years ago, is the only one in the Palmetto Beach neighborhood of Tampa, an area filled with deep ties to Cuba and the cigar rollers that called it home for so long. Reddick's family came over from Cuba in the early 1900s. Tampa is home, but she never forgets her roots; coffee is the window to the past. SUGGESTED ORDER: Cafe Con Leche or “Coffee with milk.” The beverage is common throughout Spain and Latin America, consisting of strong coffee (usually espresso), mixed with scalded milk in equal amounts. PRO TIP: Get some Cuban toast and dip it in the Cafe Con Leche

Cute coffee shop right near downtown Tampa. It has great espresso and a great atmosphere. There is plenty of space for working or studying. It is also right around the corner from Ikea. We will definitely be back.

It's such a cute coffee shop located in Ybor/Port Tampa. Very reasonably priced, lots of eclectic artwork, old coffee makers, and just overall cool vibe. We will definitely visit again.

Local coffee shop in the Palmetto Beach neighborhood. Very cozy homey vibes with great coffees, teas, and foods. I recommend their breakfast sandwiches and to check out their specials they’ve always got something good. There are tables to work at or meet with friends, and local art for sale all over the cafe.

Place is awesome! The barista made a great recommendation for a strong, sweet, and somewhat healthy coffee. I received a tasty coffee with oat milk and dark chocolate syrup! I also love the cool, relaxed ambiance of the place! Will definitely return..highly recommend!!

Love the smell of the coffee by the port. Great shop, super cute inside! Great gifts and things to buy. Love the urban vibe. Love the cheese and or buttered cuban bread. Love the cafe con leche! Havent been inside before as my husband usually does the coffee run inside. Super clean and friendly staff.

I love to support local, and I think this coffee shop has been a great edition to this area. I think the servers need to be a little better trained. After I had ordered and paid, they then told me that most of what I ordered wasn’t available. My kale salad came from the freezer and you could tell when you bit into it.. it was soggy and still had that freezer ice crunch taste. The last time I ordered the kale, it was awesome—large generous portion, fresh, tons of quinoa, almonds. This one is mostly frozen kale. Again, love that this place was added, and love this place, but customer service, presentation, etc. could be improved.

I love this place. The employees always have a smile for you. The baristas are some of the best in Tampa. The coffee is obviously amazing being roasted right across the street, ground in house and brewed same day. The food is also amazing with my favorite being the Media Noche.

First time in this coffee shop, and I was so impressed. I love the vibe and all their merch. Def recommend the caramel Latte was bomb, but the wrap not so much. Just not a Tortilla fan but I wanted to try something different.

Nice vibes, but services was below average. First, I received a Frappuccino instead of a cappuccino, after I received my right drink, I double checked with her to ensure it was a caramel cappuccino. She said yes. There was no flavor, and as I got to the end of my coffee all the caramel was sitting in the bottom, she had not stirred or mixed the coffee. She had just squirted it into the coffee and handed it over to me. The sandwich I order was toasted on the outside but room Temperature on the inside. Staff needs to slow down and take an extra 30 seconds to ensure the order is complete. Also, $24.44 (including tip) for a coffee and a sandwich is a bit much.

Great Coffee! The Artist Corner was very interesting. The food was sub par. I got the breakfast wrap. The wrap itself was good, the eggs were warm but lacking flavor and the ham and cheese were cold. My husband got breakfast sandwich on a croissant (no bagels anymore) and said it was okay.

Stayed at an Airbnb nearby and decided to come in for breakfast. Coffee is flavorful and strong- food was delicious and the servers were super friendly. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area! Tried the lavender latte one day and the coño coffee the next- both times having the breakfast sandwich.

Coffee is always rich, unique and tasty. Baristas are always cheery, unique and helpful. Decor, vibe and store appointments are chill, unique and of an eclectic cool ambiance. I love getting my coffee here whenever I'm passing thru, but they are not open much into the afternoon and close a little too early. But when they are open, the coffee is always on point.

My husband and I always pass by this coffee shop and have been wanting to try it out. There's plenty of seating. The place has a real nice vibe. The staff is friendly and attentive. We ordered 2 coffees, a sandwich and a slice of pound cake. Everything was good. Our coffee is strong, rich and flavorful. We'll be back!

Tried the avocado toast [amazing, 10/10, would try again], and my partner got the toasted croissant [also amazing]. Great atmosphere, food is crazy well-seasoned, and the staff is great. Chill atmosphere, love the art 💃🏻

Always fast and friendly and I have 100% enjoyed every coffee I have had here the last couple of years. This past week I had one of, if not, the best cafe con leches I think I have ever had. I was in a hurry and grabbed it to go, but I wish I could have been there to tell the lady that made it how delicious it was. I am looking forward to my next trip that way for another delicious coffee!

This is the Cutest coffee shop with the best baristas. I always get a cheese toast with honey on top or the woke Cuban and a colada. Joaquin never misses with an amazing sandwich. Barista Stephanie always welcomes you with a smile and her positive energy makes your morning. Sheila makes the best café con leche and shes so sweet! Great team at an amazing location and that makes every visit worth it🤍 Love this place.

Hospitality and service went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. Special thanks to Stephanie for making our visit so special :) Coffee was delicious as well as the quiche and guava pastry!

Excellent Atmosphere to complement the excellent coffee and food! You can not go wrong here. EDIT: Almost 2 years later, I moved back down to Tampa, visited this Great Coffee shop again and it was still very good. Everything is great, excellent staff. Ally, Stephanie and Marina are always so kind and talkative. You all have grown to have great and plentiful customer's. Keep up the good work. Wish each and every one of you the best.

I have always love the decor of this shop and the coffee is good. Twice I have ordered baked goods (guava and cream cheese, then a muffin) both were stale and should have been trashed. Last visit the language used by the help was totally unacceptable. That was my last visit.

A friendly neighborhood coffee shop with very friendly staff and tons of seatings. I got a 16oz latte with oat milk. The latte had good espresso to milk ratio, however the espresso did not taste like it was freshly ground. They serve breakfast sandwiches and pastries. I got a breakfast sandwich with turkey which was good. The taste of the espresso wouldve had me give it a lower score, however I’m giving this place a 5 star because of the incredibly friendly staff who went above and beyond to extend good service. Of note, you can enter the parking lot ONLY through N 22nd st. We took Marconi St to get to this place, however, there is no car entrance to the coffeeshop from that street as it was fenced off and so we had to drive a few blocks further to come around to enter the lot. A good improvement to increase access would to open up an entry way to the parking lot on Marconi St to avoid having to drive around the neighborhood.

Coffee shop has a very cool vibe, the lady that made me coffee was very nice however the coffee was terrible. Like not the way she made it, the coffee itself. Sour and bitter, super acidic. Never have I ever before threw away a cup of coffee.... But there is a first for everything.

Fabulous service and great coffee! Kayla took excellent care of our group as we met for a meeting. Highly recommend! The Shaken Espresso (I think that's what it was called) was delicious.

Absolutely absolutely absolutely amazing food. Their café con leche and avocado toast is delicious. I also had in two occasions, their breakfast sandwich and then their Cuban sandwich. This is a definite must visit. Super chill ambience. Will definitely recommend and come back as often as possible

This is a cozy little place with a great nostalgic Ybor City theme. There's also a lot of coffee processing photos and antiques around. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Awesome little find in Tampa, the staff is super friendly. The decoration of the place is so comfortable and artistic. The Coffee is excellent. I grabbed a bag of whole bean to bring back to the casa Breakfast sandwich was enough to split basic but really good. I'll definitely pop through again.

I really wanted to like this place. The coffee was slightly above average but more expensive than you’d pay for better coffee at a place like Moreno Bakery. I also ordered a tostada, which was below average and a concha that was truly awful. It was so stale that it sounded like a rock when I tapped it and didn’t taste much different than a rock either. I took one bite and spit it out, that’s how bad it was. The service was ambivalent at best. The tostada took 15 minutes to be prepared even though there were only four other people in the shop at the time. In summary: underwhelmed and will not be back.

We got to town early and wanted to grab a great breakfast. We found this local dive and I’m so glad we did. The staff was super friendly, the food was yummy and the quantity was outrageous!!!! This is not a frilly fancy place but the hash was fresh and tasty,
