This is a really nice park if you want to go there and do some fishing. Or if you just want to go there and watch the sunset. They also have a small dog park and it's a little dog beach. It's really nice. They have access to water for dogs. And the pavilions are available for reservations. It seems like a nice quiet park. I could imagine it's really busy during the afternoons when people are probably having picnics and parties and barbecues with their families. Outside of that it's a lot of space to walk around but no designated walking paths.

I like the pier to fishing ....in area there is boat ramp restrooms and fresh water, a clean white beach with shady palms,tha parking is for free

Love that the dog portion is fenced off! Takes a lot of the stress off of having a dog that is new to me, off her leash. Beautiful sunset views, convenient access,, decent beach, and a great place to spend time with your dog(s)!

Nice little park at the end of Interbay near MacDill Air Force Base. They have frisbee golf the dog park a boat ramp picnic tables with cover garbage facilities as well as well kept restaurants.

Such a tranquil, lovely little beach. Perfect for peaceful, relaxed afternoons.

This is a fun place to hang out at, especially for families. It's mostly well taken care of, though like most public parks, the restrooms can get nasty towards the end of the day. The views of the bay are great and you can see St. Petersburg from the western beach section.

My absolute favorite beach spot, it's the perfect size, has a boat ramp, disc golf, small playground, clean bathrooms, covered picnic tables and the best sunset view in Tampa!!

IWe LOVE this park! The kids can explore and find all kinds of cool and interesting things! The water is incredible and there were guys fishing in one of the hidden spots. If you are looking for a romantic day on the beach or want to let the kids run wild and know they'll be safe, this is the place for you!!

We live in the area and come here constantly. The sunsets are out of this world in this spot. We love to go as a family and play volleyball, picnic and just spend time together. It’s ideal to go on a crispy beautiful day. There’s also a dog park, frisbee field and a bunch of picnic tables.

Such a lovely hidden park in Tampa. It has such a romantic and intimate vibe. Also, it has such beautiful sunset. However, the park does not have easy access to public restrooms. So, if you are having a family gathering or attending a party at the park, make sure to reserve the location near a restroom. Also, it was 5 pm on a Sunday and they were already closed.

We moved to Tampa almost two years ago, and we love this place! It’s big, there’s so much to do, and it’s beautiful 😍 A hidden gem in the south Tampa area for sure!

Quiet park with covered pavilions with grills, several playgrounds, restrooms, boat ramp, and a nice view of St Petersburg. We rented a pavilion for a Saturday for $60 for the day.

Very nice and relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sunset. Has a volleyball net and ramps for boats. Great for the kids and the whole family.

Clean and well maintained. nice views of the water. Very laid back early Sunday morning, but around 1 it becomes a family spot.

Reservation process for a shelter was quick and seamless via the Parks website. Park was clean. Thank goodness there is a lot of parking. As for the park itself, it's always beautiful, well kept, and very safe. That being said, I didn't check out the bathrooms because traditionally, I try to avoid every park bathroom anywhere in the country when possible. Bf says it was clean and amply stocked but added "it's still a park bathroom".

This is a chill place to watch the sunset. There is a dog beach, fishing pier and sandy beachfront all along the park where you can sit and relax. As the name implies, you can also picnic at many of the benches scattered throughout. There’s also a disc golf course for those that like disc golf!

The beautiful of nature will make you calm and concentrated. Anything you will for having wish with this scenario. The place is nice, open and best for family trip while making some picnic, trip or pleasure time.

Really cool spot to bring your dogs to run around on the beach. There’s running water so you and your dogs can cool off and have some water to drink. Very relaxing and chill at end of day.

This park is great for fishing or a picnic. It doesn't have a great swimming beach but there are plenty of other beaches in the area for that. What I love about this place is that you can wade out into the water and wade fish. There are many different fish species in the area. It is also to see dolphins swimming the channel. The picnic area is large and can handle groups. It has a small playground area.

Beautiful spot. Did the last Picnic Island Run here a few years back but they've since stopped it... would love for them to bring it back! Absolutely beautiful little peninsula.

I've not been here in many years and went only bcs we were stir crazy and couldn't make it all the way to Pinellas. The beach was quiet and clean. There were many parties and the picnic areas looked clean.
