Awesome place for kayaking, canoeing and rope games! Beautiful and well maintained. There are alligators in lake so be careful about them!

Being a USF student, I feel blessed. This place is really so beautiful and soothing. It's only for USF people. The charge is $5 per person and you get 2 hours to have fun and come back on time.

A nice little canoe spot but you do have to have a U-number to rent a canoe. Only $10 per canoe and that's for 2 hours. We only encountered one other group while out and it was very quiet once away from the road. We saw many birds but no alligators for us unfortunately!

My daughter goes to USF and discovered this park with us for the rope course during family and friends weekend. This is a jewel. The students should definitely use this place more often.

Always a good time! The kayaking is fun and a great price (note: one person must have a USF ID). Saw several gators last time, as well as many turtles, not to mention gator-turtle "friends". What an experience! Will be back for sure!

It’s a nice place but it needs cleaning. Those big rope climbing towers need to be torn down and make something else for for people to exercise but it is still a lovely park

Went there for a team building exercise with a lot of my coworkers that graduated from a leadership program. Absolutely had an amazing time and all of the instructors were fantastic. We all had such a great time, definitely a fantastic place for team building.

Large open area for plenty of activities! Staff is also accommodating last time I went to go kayaking. Check out USF’s recreation page for monthly activities and events! I learned about moonlight kayaking through there

Really a beautiful place to spend time kayaking and walking around. Park closes at 5 but they stop sending out boats by 3:30 if you want to go kayaking make sure you be there before that. You can easily spend 2 hours on water enjoying the nature

Very pretty place to go kayaking or play in the grass. People are always there playing disk golf

Excellent disc golf course for beginner and intermediate level... first 6-7 out in the open, with a water hazard... the remainder of the course zigzags through a palmetto and pine scrub canopy... plenty of trees give shade, but contribute to a dense rough. Sheltered picnic tables, restroom facilities and a canoe launch also onsite...USF ID required for canoes.

Great place to have a walk, there are zip lines, a frisbee golf course, volleyball, and kayaking. There may be more activities but I'm not even sure if the activities are open to the public.

This park is beautiful. The disc golf course here is incredibly fun. The front nine are out in the open with a few trees to get past. Not incredibly long or difficult. This is definitely a beginner-intermediate course. The back nine are far more difficult as there is a lot more places to lose your disc. Be careful wasting through the longer great as there are quite a few black snakes. Also, there is an alligator that visits hole 1 and 4 often. The back nine are optional and I would recommend that beginner players play the front nine only to avoid losing your discs. Play it twice for 18 if you want. Keep your eyes open and your discs on the fairway!

The bathroom needs to be maintained well. I like this place because it is the nearest from USF for kayak and also organize picnic, family gathering. There is a parking lot structure and it is free. You can do zip lock here - normally they offer group discount and for USF students.

The people that work there are not what I would call customer service friendly. While we were on our kayak we were laughing at the fact that they were so rude. But otherwise everything was great!

It's a tiny park for use by the university community, & the hours are short, but it's absolutely lovely & the staff are always friendly & helpful. Great for picnics, short boating trips, & bringing outdoor games to play.

I’ve tried to go to this park three times in the last week to kayak and I’ve been met each time with stipulation. You have to be a USF student or Alumni to enter(I am but my significant other isn’t). Kayaks are only available for rental Friday Saturday and Sunday. They open at 12 and they stop doing kayak rentals at 3:30, as I was told by the person working. I love kayaking and was excited about this opportunity, but now I have no use for the kayaking part of this park due to its limitations.

    Beautiful place

I go here for the disc golf course. It's a nicely maintained course that has many holes that move basket positions. The course has a fairly easy to moderate difficulty. The front nine is a bit easier and open while the difficulty goes up a bit in the back nine due to it being in the forest with lots of trees. You can lose discs in the back fairly easily if you don't pay attention to where they land or don't have a spotter. The park is part of the college and therefore you can have people walking around or events going on.
