A place worth visiting and spending some time, Even if you are not a pure religious soul. The architecture of the temple reflects atypical Hindu sculpture, and the ambience of the whole place feels becalming and peaceful. Just make sure to wear full clothes (no shorts allowed), if you wish to be part of rituals/pooja inside. Plenty of parking spaces available too.

This post is for information purposes only. The architecture of the temple is great. There are 2 separate buildings to worship. The third building is canteen / restaurant. The main worship place, having around 40 steps to climb, also has elevator access. Women are not allowed to enter with sleeveless costumes. The main office timings, restaurant timings and menu are attached. You can book poojari at the main office for car pooja, havan, home pooja etc. The restaurant/canteen has great food for dine in and to-go. The restaurant staff is good except the old guy at the counter.

A beautiful temple located in Tampa, which is known for its architecture. The temple is maintained so clean and a peaceful place to go for always. They do have dress code policies which needs to be followed, pls be aware of that. And their canteen food is THE BEST. It is my go-to place if I’m looking for South Indian food. It is open from Friday - Sunday.

The Hindu Temple of Florida is a must-see for anyone interested in Indian culture or religion. The temple is beautifully decorated with intricate carvings and statues, and the atmosphere is serene and peaceful. There is also a cultural center on the premises that offers classes on Indian dance, music, and language. You can also sign up for a free temple tour in advance to learn more about the culture and temple. There is also a canteen on site which serves delicious Indian food at reasonable low cost. Note: Dress code for 12yrs and above: Dress modestly, cover shoulders and knees (no shorts).

Sai Baba Pooja/harathis refer the image. 7. Archana ticket 11$ Hope my images of all the corresponding are helpful ✌️ Definitely visit this temple, such a great experience and pleasant!

I've never been to a hindu temple before, but the size and amount of detail blew me away. This place is definitely worth a visit. Even better if you update your knowledge on Hinduism before goingπŸ˜‰ Remember to remove your shoes by the entrance, cover up legs and shoulders.

The Hindu Temple of Florida offers a serene sanctuary to explore the divine essence. The temple's architect and the intricately crafted statues of various Hindu Gods are truly remarkable. Additionally, their cafe/Canteen, serves delightful prasad from 6 pm onwards. Indulging in their delectable offerings like Dosa, Samosa, and Bada was an absolute delight. It's a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, providing a tranquil haven to cherish moments of peace within the temple's serene ambiance.

The free tour (sign up in advance) was wonderful. We learned some fundamentals of Hinduism and what each deity represented in the hall before walking the grounds and upstairs into the temple. The guide then introduced the deities and shared their history. The tour lasted about 2 hours. There's also a canteen which serves delicious vegetarian Indian dishes.

Serene environment in the hustle bustle of Tampa. The temple maintains the purity for devotees and offers variety of services. The vegetarian restaurant has some of the best food I have tested. Huge lines though. Go hungry! Definitely try the huge laddu.

This place is very big and good. The main diety is Satyanarayana Swamy(might easily mistake with Lord Balaji on first look), the only place in the US I have visited so far has this lord as main diety. Has lord Hanuman, Ayyappa Swamy, Baba and couple other dieties in the opposite building. Was full but had a pleasant experience visiting the place!

Very beautiful and worth visiting. Everyone is so kind ,helpful and inviting. We are not fully aware of the religion and rituals but everyone still welcomed us with smiles. Guided tours are available. Ask before taking a photo. This is not allowed inside.

Great experience. My friend and I took the tour offered at the Temple. Our tour guide, Nainan, taught us so much. It was very informative. The Temple and the grounds were stunning! Such a beautiful, peaceful place. We felt very welcomed.

Nice serene setting. Didn't go on a guided tour. Left a small donation. Noticed some reviews about "not feeling welcome" or "narrow minded views" because they have a dress code. People all have a right to their opinions, but keep in mind, it's a temple not an amusement park. The priests aren't there to entertain. I felt no hostility directed towards me. Visited with my wife and a friend of ours.

I have visited the Hindu Temple multiple times and it always have the beautiful and serene atmosphere. The temple is immaculately maintained, with intricate and colorful decorations during festivals that truly reflect the Hindu culture and spirituality. The priests and volunteers were very friendly and welcoming, and were more than happy to answer any questions. The canteen has good food too but is not open throughout the week.

We had an excellent tour with Nainan. He is so knowledgeable and made learning about the Hindu religion very interesting. The temple itself is so beautiful! They brought several artists over from India for many years to do all of the ornate concrete artwork.

Beautiful hidden gem in Florida. Very peaceful and everyone is so nice. Please remember to ask permission to take pictures first, and remove your shoes before going into the temple. They have a room downstairs for you to leave your shoes.

I did not go into the temple, but used the adjacent hall for a hindu wedding. Loved the gopurams, the hilly locale with ample parking

Very informative tour with a personable and welcoming guide. You will learn the basics of Hinduism and the symbolic meanings of some of the imagery on the tour. The tour takes a commitment of time which is appropriate to what you will learn. The temple is beautiful inside and out. You will feel warmly welcomed and you will learn a lot.

I visited this temple because I wanted to see the architecture & learn more about another culture. My visit was brief since you’re supposed to wear longer skirts and I didn’t have one on me. You also walk barefoot in some areas as part of the temple’s policies. Hopefully next time I could explore more & try the food too. If you’re Hindu or want to learn more about Hinduism, then I would definitely stop at this temple if you’re traveling.

An excellent religious place which has an amazing atmosphere. The architecture of the temple reflects typical hindu sculpture. Time by time, Hindu Temple of Florida also holds different events which includes Holi, Diwali Puja and Durga Puja. There is a hall in Hindu Temple of Florida where different functions like marriage can be performed and they have different priests also which can perform different rituals. Hindu Temple of Florida also have a cafe where you can prasad as well as lunch options including Puri Bhaji, Dosa, idli etc at good prices. If you want to attend the puja/ ritual ceremony at temple please make sure to wear full clothes as compared to shorts. There is spacious parking space available. Hindu Temple of Florida is definitely the worth place to visit.

The "rules" are not well marked, or perhaps they were just inconsistently applied. The "rules" are about where one must remove their shoes and having their knees and shoulders covered, as well as where photos could be taken. They should really post signs at the entrance to make it clear to everyone. Maybe they weren't expecting "visitors"? The temple is beautiful, but we really didn't feel welcomed. (There didn't appear to be any official event taking place, and we were trying to be respectful and follow the posted rules).

Easily the best Hindu temple in Florida! The temple's architecture, including the stately gopuram, transports you to South India. The fact that you have climb several stairs to reach the elevated temple hall just amplifies that divine feeling. The temple, along with the nearby canteen (where fresh South Indian food is served), is the perfect way to spend a few hours.
