Mike Diaz in the meat department is an absolute delight he’s friendly, professional, and goes above and beyond for the customer this man has the making of a store manager!

On Monday, 08-08-22, I called Publix to place an order for approximately 45 cupcakes to be ready for pickup later that week (on Thursday, 08-11-22) and spoke with a very nice lady who worked with a Bakery decorator to answer all of my questions before taking down the detailed order. I was given a price to be paid at the time of pick up and it was easy as that! On the day of pick up, I was greeted with a smile, paid my bill, and was handed the order which far exceeded my expectations when it came to presentation. (I say that because there was some concern on my end with how the cream cheese frosting I specifically requested would take on the colors, Garnet & Gold, I wanted the frosting to be.) I'm beyond impressed with Publix and this particular Publix when it comes to professionalism, order handling, friendliness of associates, attention to detail, value of products, customer service, everything really. It was an amazing experience and I just want to give my thanks to everyone that assisted with my order. Every step of the process was so simple I didn't need to think twice about any of it. The birthday surprise was a huge success and dozens of compliments were received by my Chase coworkers over the deliciousness and presentation of the cupcakes. Thank you so much for all of your efforts. It's the little things like this that keep me coming back!!

Go there often but buying flowers for holidays that like to stuff then with cutting to make the look really good. The Mother’s Day mini rose that was purchased was stuffed with cutting my wife wasn’t happy about it.

This Publix has the best customer service and I love doing my cake orders here! I come in look through their book of cakes (they now have a tablet) and 2 minutes later I have someone asking me if I need help. They make doing my cake orders so easy! I have done all my sons school cakes here and today is his Thanksgiving party and I got a pull apart Turkey cake and I LOVE IT! THANK YOU SO MUCH! At 50 years old, I've finally experienced a visit to the supermarket where employees have an issue comprehending how a coupon works. Even manager Paul was to incompetent to read and comprehend the coupon. Welocome to 2023 at publix. Back to Walmart unfortunately. No words

The Deli is Superb!! Every time I pick my order This cute guy Kevin helps me out. He always is friendly and goes out of his way to help me because I'm in a motorized Cart. Thanks Kevin from the old lady with the Cart!

I normally am a big fan of publix and I rave about the service you receive there But this publix on sheldon and hillsborough it's not the best. There is very little involvement of the management, The cashiers don't even greet you. They just continue to have conversations with the bagger I was just in here in the young lady with the red stripes in the front of her hair didn't Even say one word to me even though I was a customer in her line all she did is complaining about wanting to leave early and not getting any hours From a certain manager. They need to do something with this publix because the prices are getting out of control Versus the customer service you're receiving might as well just go to wal-mart

My go to grocery stop. Has all the essentials and seems hygienic. Amazing bakery and the brownies are a must have. The subs are good too.

Even though the store was busy it was running smoothly and efficiently. You can tell they maintain the store well and that the products are treated with care. Just like most Publixes, I overall had a good experience at the store.

The Publix is great because no matter where you are at they have the BOGO and everything that you need. I personally feel comfortable going to them no matter where I am at. I am a loyal customer.

One of Floridas mainstays, you can never go wrong shopping at Publix. Know for their subs, but the fried chicken and tenders are also exceptional, Wednesdays are $5 dollar sushi days is also a plus.

Like most Publix locations clean and well stocked. Parking lot is a bit tight but it is such a convenient location to hit on my way home

I broke down in their parking lot today..jaguar transmission failed..it was hot waiting for tow truck..went inside to soda fountain and got a drink..spent several dollars..got outside and drink was 100% water..I guess no soda syrup in machine ..didn't bother going back in due to long lines. Hate getting ripped off

Great location It’s minutes away from my job and the location makes it so easy to go here instead of fast food spots ! It’s always fast and speedy whenever I come here. The people are always nice and helpful. Also, every time I’ve been here it’s always super organized.

Very clean and well laid out…there are always enough lanes open for a super quick check out…no waiting in long lines here! Great experience!

This is a nice Publix. It would be 5 stars except for the parking lot. Going in and out of the parking lot can be challenging due to traffic.

The Publix store is conveniently situated downtown and provides plenty of parking options. You can find the parking lot on the second level, and the elevators are located nearby. They are spacious enough to accommodate your cart. Publix is our preferred grocery store, and we have shopped at different locations without any issues. The staff is always friendly and ready to assist customers with questions or needs. The stores are consistently clean and well-organized with clear aisle markings indicating the location of each grocery item. What sets Publix apart is its bakery section. Hand-made breads and fresh produce are always delicious; their cakes are our favorite. Overall, we highly recommend Publix for your grocery needs. I have always had a hassle-free checkout experience at Publix, aided by their diverse payment options. Additionally, their loyalty program offers users discounts upon signup. Moreover, I have consistently found Publix products to be fresh.

Publix has stated many times that if an item is marked wrong the item will be given for free. I was in there today and there was a bottle of shampoo that was marked for $5.75. Need to say I’ve never done this before in my life, I bought the bottle and a picture to the desk. And explained that the bottle was miss. Marked. The girl from the customer service desk went back to the endcap where the bottle was and grab the other bottle. And blamed it on the customer that a customer must’ve moved it and stuck it there need to say it was all the way on the bottom shelf. She would not budge on meeting their promise of a mismarked item to be given to the customer for free. Need to say I’ve been in the area for just about 10 years now and I have faithful to this Publix. Thank God that we have three others in the area and I will be going to another Publix and this Publix has lost my business. I spent way over $100 every time I walk in that store but I’ll be more than happy to help another manager meet their goals so they can give more hours to their employees . This has been my local publix for the last two years. I go at all hours of the day for various things. But without a doubt the deli is the worst managed department in that location. I would go to say it is the worst publix deli in Florida. I cannot count the number of times Id be standing in line 5-8 people deep and there is no one helping a solo person making orders. A lady named monica today(and many times before) literally chose to make online oders for 20 minutes rather than serve the customers that were right in front of her. My big question is WHERE IS MANAGEMENT?? Department manager beto is never around any time during rush hours(12-1,5-7). So sad because everyone else in this store is a delight. I am really glad we are moving away from this area so I do not have to rely on this location.

Best damn sub around. Staff friendly. Bito the deli manager, has to be my favorite man in the whole place. I'd go to battle for him.

I usually like this Publix but the deli workers are terrible. I’m standing here with no one in line and a guy named Daniel and a woman named Laura are just gossiping and giggling. They could easily take my order but instead he kept saying “one minute” mind you they were doing nothing. Won’t be back at this deli

I like this Publix I come here regularly. But, an employee named Caylea at the customer service counter, where you get all the lotteries from, at that area. She was very rude, unprofessional, she made a mistake refunding a double charge to my account. She looked at the receipt and said I can only give you the refund back as in cash or as a gift card because it’s a debit card so she went ahead and gave me cash and then I told her it is not a debit card and then she looked at the receipt again and said oh, I looked at it wrong. I didn’t needed a cash. I needed a refund to my card and then when I told her to correct it, she refused to help. She’s not friendly I thought Publix is known for their friendly warm employees, but she was totally opposite. Please fire her immediately. I hate to go there now knowing she’s there.

This store pretty nice. Just visiting while on vacation. Coming from Ohio, I really wish we had Publix I Ohio. Like all stores, it's getting kinda pricey but they have good quality food and good weekly deals. Publix is alright with me.

The smallest Publix in Tampa but honestly my favorite to visit. Staff is courteous 98% of the time. Store is stocked! Pharmacy staff is awesome!! They have a liquor store adjacent. Oh and it's the only Publix with self check out registers. Love it!!!

Ordered my daughter's sweet 16 icecream birthday cake here. Went to pick it up and it had been sitting out with the regular cakes so it was like water inside when I went to cut it.

Me and my wife Grace just flew in from Detroit and the place we stay at has a kitchen so we start off at this market to load up As usual nothing but beautiful smiles and positive energy One of the main Highlights was Dean in seafood The gentleman was cleaned up for tonight, everything was put away and as I walked by he asked DO YOU NEED ANYTHING? This man was completely cleaned up and appeared to be headed home but he stopped and said whatever you need I got you❤️ We wanted catfish and Dean hooked us up🙏❤️🙏 I live in Michigan and it's rare to find workers at the end of their day to reopen to serve someone knowing they would have to clean up again Thank you Dean in seafood me and my wife thank you so much The catfish, Shrimp and salad was AMAZING ❤️🙏❤️ The best grocery store in the world 💯

This is my neighborhood Publix and there’s nothing bad I can say about it. This location is very clean,organized and almost always full of supplies.

1st of all this story is completely in disarray The shelves are horribly stocked and you have employees and managers walking around doing nothing without a clue where things are in the store. Not to mention I forgot my wallet in my car I asked the gentleman to hold my cart for 1 second while walked out and grabbed my wallet only to come in one minute later and they already went and put all my stuff back on the shelves. And the gentleman I asked to hold it said oh I'm sorry they didn't want things to spoil It was literally not even one minute For me to run and Grab my wallet from my car. I thought we paid more for our groceries to have a better shopping experience I'm done shopping at All my last experiences have been really horrible.

One star is being generous. I use to love Publix until they opened this store and closed the one down across the street from me. I was all excited for when this store opened because I thought it would be easier in and out to stop on my way home, boy was I wrong. It’s way too busy and too crowded in here for the size of store. They should close the liquor store and expand the rest of the store. Stuff is always out of stock and don’t even think of going to the deli for fried or rotisserie chicken, there won’t be any. Staff aren’t helpful and it’s just a horrible location all around. Publix would do well to close this location and open one somewhere else. Or tear this location down and rebuild.

Publix is an amazing corporation. This particular store not the best parking lot, but the employees are friendly. Place is clean. If you're in the area and need something from Publix, it's good

This is a very busy Publix. The hot deli is good, just like other locations. It is also very clean and well stocked. I've never had a bad experience here. However, the prices are sky high! Just like every Publix I've been to. If the prices were more reasonable I'd make this my grocery store of choice, until then I'll continue to make my main grocery purchases at Aldi, SuperTarget, and Walmart.

My Instacart order & pickup was PHENOMENAL! My shopper was thorough & helpful via chat. My husband then picked up our groceries order. It's just so easy! We even earned $12 back for a future Publix Instacart order (a perk because I am an Instacart Plus member). My husband is now a fan of shopping Publix online through Instacart and picking up our grocery order.

My daughter in hospital now rehab. Tamika in Tsmpa Publix made a boquet of 3 dozen roses plus 1 dozen tulips and babies breath In pink yellow white and darker pimk. I bought my own large mouth vase. ,All under ,$40.00 Everyone went crazy. ALWAYS ,,the best fresh flowers Happy .Mothers Day.

I ordered a birthday cake for my dad today and it is an excellent cake. I would like to know who made it but I don’t know how to verify. My dad loves it and our fam finished. Publix never disappoints me.

Always so clean... Employees are always helpful; they don't just point or tell you where something is; they will take you to be sure you find what you're looking for. Great place to shop.

This location, since it opened, has always been great. It's a bit tight though, I feel there is a lot in there But still very organized as tight as it may feel sometimes with a lot of people, but one if my favorite locations.

It was very nice inside, fish department was clean and smelled fresh. Great sign of great employees. If you ever smell fish, u should skip that place. The employees and Managers were extremely helpful. I had been looking for a particular type of Hard Apple Cider from a Cidery in Vermont called Woodchuck. The Cidery 's www locator showed that Public X carries it but apparently they "carried it several years ago but don't now!!!!". Woodchuck needs to confirm their information. It was disappointing. But it's Woodchuck 's fault and NOT Publix. I'm happy with the store itself.

Too expensive but sooo many bakery treats. I mostly just buy quality meats, can get other items cheaper in Walmart or Aldi

All of the staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The store is very clean and well organized. You can literally get everything here, great selection! One of my favorite publix I've ever been in.

This is not one of my normal Publix locations. I know it was late and it was approaching closing. I was not familiar with the layout of the store and could not find dish soap. I asked a clerk who was walking in the store and he pointed to the aisle and said the registers are closing.. I work retail and I know how important it is to close on time and get out. Trust me I can relate. But I would never tell a customer that and I would not expect that from a Publix employee. My checkout was amazing, I was on register 1 and I can't remember the cashier's name but the bagger and the cashier were both great.. The bagger was Michael and he was so friendly and engaging. Asking me if I found everything and how was my night. This is the experience I expect when I go to Publixs.. The manager was holding the door for us last minute shoppers and wished me good night. Not sure if I will shop at this location again,

. The parking lot, however, was not designed in my opinion to get in and out so easily if using the Hillsborough entrance. There is not a lot of room to maneuver and gets very congested because there is a light at this entrance.

This is a pretty good store. It's the one closest to my house so it's my "go-to" spot. Deli is good depending on who's behind the counter that day but usually I get pretty decent subs here. The fried chicken is hit or miss though. Been a lot of misses lately. Store is always clean and organized well. Staff is always friendly with fairly fast check-outs. Parking can be crazy sometimes. Overall great spot for a quick "in & out" shopping experience.
