    Staff cares about animals!!! Some weird lady was denied the purchase of a hamster last night due to her history of returning animal(S) in unhealthy conditions. Yes, plural as in multiple animals and multiple times (WHICH SHE DIDN'T DENY!) she then tried to intimidate the staff by being loud and accusing them of being unhelpful and racist (except all staff and the customer were white). She asked them to write their names. The staff was exceptionally respectful to her and just stated the fact that they were uncomfortable selling her any more pets due to her history. Well done guys. They could have just sold her the hamster, made money and not cared about the pets well-being. Instead they did the right thing and the hard thing because they had to deal with this psycho! I told them to call me if she lies about the incident.

    6 people in the store 20 min till closing and not 1 would sell me fish for my tank. Thanks Sam for understanding I drove from downtown Tampa for trying to surprise my kids.

    Went to take my dog to his grooming appointment and they refused to see him because their system had a note that only a manager can groom him. The “manager” is the same person he’s been going to and the person who was scheduled to groom him. Won’t be taking him to this place again.

    This is one of my favorite Petsmarts...although it's one of their smaller stores, the staff is always friendly, the manager is awesome and they are usually stocked up with merchandise and parking is super convenient. Highly recommend this location. (Westchase)

    Both of the assistant and cashier girl are very unprofessional and need to stop running their mouth too much to avoid future problems and to avoid making the store lose more money. They need to be more educated before given this job! Stop hiring helpless people with no education or experience.

    I normally have a good experience at this Petsmart location. Always have a great selection and the staff is friendly. However, today as I walked in a young man, cashier barely grumbled welcome as I came in. Then when checking out he seemed less than enthusiastic and in my opinion was rude to the woman in front of me. She wanted to have her debit card as credit. He told her to hit the green button but then it didn’t work. She asked him how to get it to go through as credit and his reply was ‘No idea’ she figured it out on her own and left. Then my turn, again a ‘I don’t want to be here I’m above this’ attitude continued. If you don’t like your job then get another one there are plenty out there. I do suggest you don’t get a customer facing position. Good Customer service and respect are everything. Not to mention just plain human decency and being kind to others.

    Very bad customer experience at the grooming salon. I dropped of my dog and they wanted to charge me an overnight fee for being less than 30 min late for pick up. Also the woman who said to be the grooming manager had a very bad attitude. Even when I called to schedule, it seems like they don’t want to take any appointments.

    I will go out of my way to go to this locations, grooming department. They are very friendly and have consistently done a great job each time with my greyhound. I have tried other Petsmart locations and the groomers elsewhere were not that great. Grooming is not cheap depending on what you do but know that you will definitely be getting your moneys worth at this location. Love them!

    If I could give a zero I would, my experience here was not great. My best friend was working and ask me to pick up some items for her lizard (bearded dragon). I know nothing of lizards so I asked for help, the front clerk Janet was so nice and called someone to help, the lady's name was Emily, she was the manager. Any questions I had were answered short and with an attitude. I called my friend who was at work because the lady insisted that what I was saying mad no sense because she had a bearded dragon. She was rude to my friend and walked away mid conversation without saying anything. I'm completely shocked and disappointed with her behavior, especially for someone who is to be a manager of an establishment.

    We met with the trainer for an initial evaluation of our rescue dog. Christine, was knowledgeable and thorough. We start classes next week!

    Very friendly staff even though they are understaffed very knowledgeable girl at the fish department Unfortunately they did not have that many selections she said that might have a new ship in coming tomorrow I'll take it out she was very knowledgeable and very amicable wish I remember her name dark hair beautiful smile yeah I'm getting older hahaha

    Decent selection of products. As far as getting an associate to help with anything you might expect a bit of a wait. Not all staff is very attentive.

    New update! I have been taking my dog to the grooming salon for the past four years and I have to say I love the grooming staff every time I come in they greet me and they’re so excited to see my dog and I know that she’s in great care when she’s there… Chris is the groomer I use on a regular basis, unless he’s out then Camila will groom belle! My dog is older and has arthritis and I know when she’s there that Chris takes extremely good care of her and is very patient and when I come to pick her up, she always looks fabulous! Chris always goes the extra mile with Belle and I can’t thank him enough for his kindness, patience, and the love of my dog! Thank you to the grooming staff because whenever you move to a new location and you have to find a new groomer, you do worry about if the staff is nice and caring and I have to say after four years, I have no doubt about any of you that you love my dog! The prices are very decent and this is why I bring belle every 6-7 weeks to get groomed! HUGE shout out to Chris for all your hard work and love to Belle ❤️

    Everybody was kind to my GSD puppy. I found lots of good things that will make her happy. It helps so much with socialization to be able to take your puppy to a store.

    Ashley (cashier) needs to learn to ask owners if their dog can have treats while checking out. She is the only cashier who never ask. My dog is allergic to many foods and those treats cause him to have horrible reactions. Thanks to her sneakily giving treats I will be having my dog in the vet clinic.

    Everyone is so nice and friendly, the store is great and everyone that I've talked to is so knowledgeable. Claire is definitely my favorite and I probably ask her way too many questions but she always answers them with a smile.

    Usually a big fan of Petsmart but they had old signage up, so I left with less things than I picked up on my way around the store. Usually when old signs are up stores will honor it, but they didn’t try. Some of the signage was correct but the computer was not discounting any of it automatically.

    Signs say walk ins welcome for grooming but they are NEVER welcomed. This is the Third time I have been turned away for a nail trim. I called before coming in to ask this time and was told to come in anytime. Clearly a lack of communication within the store.

    this place really seems to care for their animals with fantastic care. I have actually bouht an animal from them. He is very healthy and thriving. They have good products with reasonable pricing. The employees are so nice, and they always give our pup treats. As soon as we enter we are greeted i feel so welcome in this petsmart.

    This review is for the Citrus Park PS. I love my GloBetta I got there, he's doing great. The fish person is very knowledgeable. Some men wanted to buy fish for their newly set up and non cycled fish tank. She explained the tank needed time to properly cycle to be safe and healthy for the fish. Glad to see Citrus Park Petsmart puts pet safety above profit.

    This Petsmart is very clean and customer service is really good. I like that you have to wear a mask to enter and they follow social distant. My only complain is that I wasn’t able to find a small turtle for my grandsons. They did have beta fish.
