Honestly, as much as we wanted to love this Riverwalk, it was hard to do. Online itโ€™s described as having lots of places to stop and explore, grab a drink or shop. That wasnโ€™t the case. Itโ€™s a long walk from one end to the other and while the path itself is nice, the river is pretty gross. There are some cool history and art installations. Maybe we just expected something different.

Beautiful walking area, seemed safe and a great place to take the family. Also, there is a dog park, and childrenโ€™s park on the trail near the Tampa Museum. Itโ€™s a great view of the water with lots of flowers and shade along the way.

Nice walk area and people everywhere. Better at night when the city glows but always a great spot to kick it and just let time pass by. People are riding hoverboards, skateboards, longboards, scooters and bikes and walking. Its a good time. Love to visit this place again.

Beautiful walk around the course of the river. Signs all over and historical busts with I formation line the beautiful, wide path it is very well spaced and lit and easily travelled and feels completely safe. There are so many cool things to look at and shop and very cool eateries. You pass many interesting buildings and park areas and the theatre if performing arts, childrenโ€™s museum and Tampa museum of art. Great walking pathway under shade it in the sun. Wonderful layout beautiful and pleasant walk.

One of my favorite places in downtown Tampa. Itโ€™s a great place to jog or just leisurely walk. Thereโ€™s views of the water on one side and views of the city skyscrapers on the other. Even better at sunrise or sunset! This walkway was just beautifully constructed.

Attended the St. Patrick's day greening of the river. I watched it from Plant Park on the Tampa University campus. Fun time for students, seniors and families. Fire and Police boats distributed the dye.

Beautiful place to see the sunrise and sunset. We really enjoyed our first morning in Tampa with a nice wee stroll in the riverwalk. Plenty of space to walk and rest, exercise, run etc. Beautiful views of the high rise of the Tampa while walking is awsthetic to the eyes. Availability of restroom helps. And, if you are an early bird (before 8am)โ€”you can park for free on the streets nearby. Parking after 8am was 2.5 per hour, using parkmobile app. It was quite convenient.

We want a place just to walk around and see nature. Well this place had a lot more than we thought. The Riverwalk had plenty of places to eat, drink, and just relax. They have boats to rent and a boat taxi as well. There were a lot of places to take photos. Event throughout the area. If it wasn't for the long distance to drive there we would go back again sooner than later.

Great place to spend time with family. The parking is right next to the walk. I went on Christmas Eve and was able to find parking easily. The walk along the river is around 1.5 miles long, and the pathway is gorgeous. The water is very clear, and they have placed colorful lights all along. One can see Tampa's skyscrapers on one side and historic buildings on the other. As one walks, he passes under the various bridges. One can go all the way to the end of the walk and take a boat ride. There are a couple of restaurants along the walk too. There is a park for the kids with swings and a restroom.

The River Walk provided a truly enchanting experience during the Christmas season. The festive atmosphere along the riverbanks created magical moments, making it a perfect destination for a joyful Christmas walk. The blend of holiday lights, charming decorations, and the tranquil flow of the river made for great times and lasting memories. A must-visit for anyone seeking a delightful holiday experience.

We were here on our last day of vacation. We didn't know what to expect. Parking is congested, people were rude, riding their bikes and scooters all iver the walk almost running into people. The river was dirty. Not what we expected. We wanted to take a bus taxi, but could never catch it. There are some beautiful sights here. I wish there were more bathrooms along the walk as well. I loved the night time photos I seen online. There was a lady asking for money and drugs, and a man full of sores laying on the hot cement passed out. Very sad to see.

It is one of such good places where you can spend some quality time in the evenings. It was so colorful and pleasant. There was some kids fun area not sure what exactly it is but as i was there in Christmas season there was a lot of Christmas lighting too and that was a eye feast. There were some boat rides as well we didnโ€™t try but i saw people doing it.

Beautiful outdoor space. Suitable for exercise or lounging. Iโ€™ve been alone at 11pm and with family and small children in the middle of the day. Itโ€™s the focal point every city should have.

Myself and other family members were in the Tampa area for a wedding. On one of the days following, we visited Ulele, a local restaurant, for dinner. After the meal, we strolled the Riverwalk. It was a perfect evening, 81F, with a slight breeze. The view was awesome, and the view helped create a relaxing atmosphere.

We had the pleasure of walking the Riverwalk with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. There was an area on the Riverwalk designated as a playground for children. You could see them and hear screaming, laughing, and running around, which indicated lots of joy and happiness. There were people on Rollerblades, skates, and riding bikes. People were running and walking fast, and others were moving slowly, just enjoying the day and the sunlight. As we looked out across the river, we saw small and medium-sized boats. The Riverwalk had statues of important people in various locations. There are alsoIf you're in or visiting Tampa, the Riverwalk is a great place to go "Our Purpose Is Your Blessing"

I live in Saint Petersburg and slightly wish this was in my city so I could enjoy it on a more regular basis. But it's 100% worth the 25 min drive. Definitely go if you haven't yet.. but go at dusk. It's gorgeous at night.

Wheelchair accessible โ™ฟ Pet friendly ๐Ÿ• Lots of neat and uncommon buildings around here. I love this walk lots of sight seeing to do. Loads of local restaurants and other businesses to explore within walking distance. There is a nice playground here & a dog park that is supposed to be service dog friendly. But I would only bring your service dog ๐Ÿ•โ€๐Ÿฆบ here if no other dogs are around. Lot's of fresh air on this walk.

Sooooooo beautiful. There are plenty of things to do. A playground, restaurants, a waterfall area, and a nice relaxing strip. Highly recommend if you're looking for something free to do. You have to pay for parking, $2.50 an hour on the street.

Very nice atmosphere. They had a man performing live Caribbean music, which was very nice. They had a bar out there and a little food spot. I did try the shrimp corn dogs, they were good but they had so much batter on them, that they didnโ€™t cook the dough all the way but other then that the other food was delicious. The drinks were good and you can taste the liquor ๐Ÿค— they had boat rentals and charter group boat rides. It was very nice.

Tampa riverwalk is definitely one of the top places I recommend people to visit if they are visiting Tampa because the view is very pretty and it is just a good spot to go chill there with friends. They have a really good Colombian restaurant somewhere on the walk too, and it is also a really nice place to ride bikes or scooters. Their is a view of university of Tampa on the other side of the river
