Average priced coffee place with average products. I arrived before my friend and got a nitro cold brew coffee with hazelnut and a cinnamon bun. The decor is cute but the plants that aren't fake are dying from not being watered. The coffee was low quality beans and i couldnt taste the hazelnut at all, the cinnamon bun was good. My gf ordered matcha and quiche. It was cheap matcha and the quiche was decent. When she arrived she was given a different spiel then me even though we'd both said we'd never been so their staff isn't equally trained. It's a weird mix of someone started a cute coffee shop with love then handed to teens/others who don't care to keep it alive or provide something above "just average "

The service leaves much to be desired. For a new place in Hyde park, you would expect the service to be top notch. You’re competing with Oxford Exchange no less. Blonde cashier was friendly, but when I asked them to heat up my croissant because it was cold and hard, the brunette girl looked at me with a face and did not communicate at all. I asked politely, so not sure what went wrong. Either way, these tiny details all make up the overall experience. The croissant is store bought or possibly bought frozen and “baked” in store, so if you’re not going to have amazing food, at-least have amazing service. Latte was okay. It was not as hot as I’m used to. There isn’t really a consistent design or theme for the decor other than pillows with millennial sayings / quotes on them. I think the prices are fair given this day and age. Overall, I would not return. There are much better places in terms of service, ambiance and food/coffee. But I hope they can make some improvements to the service if nothing else. Also- the owner’s passive aggressive comments on the low reviews do not help the business at all. Please obtain some business etiquette and try to learn from the bad reviews.

The service was great. The staff were friendly and my order was prepared quickly. My oat milk cappuccino was not good. It lacked flavor and the foam was not done very well. It was also very hot. I was happy to see that they had many vegan food options, but nothing I tried was particularly good. I don't think I'll be back. Buddy Brew is right across the street, and they make a much better cappuccino.

Adorable concept, best breakfast options I have ever seen from any coffee shop anywhere, still some work to do on execution - keto breakfast sandwich was too greasy to pick up and wasn't served with utensils. Also, I remain perplexed by the 'flow' of the place - seating next to the kitchen equipment puts you in the flow of foot traffic, there's nowhere to return your dishes other than by handing them to a barista, one of the bathrooms is blocked off by seating - some work to be done in terms of ironing out customer experience.

This. Was. Such. An. Amazing. Experience. Wow! The staff was so friendly and the coffee shop was so cute and modern. They had swings in store and the drinks looked amazing. Time and effort was put into giving customers an amazing experience and it shows. Highly recommend for coffee in the area!

We wanted to go to the Oxford exchange but it had a long wait so we decided to check this place out. Pleasantly surprised by this place and very happy that Oxford was full because this place was amazing. The food and coffee are delicious, especially the chai tea latte! The environment is cute and comfy so it was a very nice breakfast here. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the lady who I think was the manager was attentive and extremely nice and welcoming. This place is a 10/10 for breakfast, we loved it!❤️

Happened across this fun coffee shop while visiting Hyde Park United Methodist Church. The drip coffee was made from beans roasted in Miami and had a great taste. The tea selection was also good. Came in for the beverages but added an everything bagel with cream cheese. Two gals that served us were very pleasant and prices for Tampa were reasonable. Seating included an indoor swing and tables in the coffee shop and a SHH Room for customers wanting a quieter setting.

Stopped on my way home looking for a morning coffee place that isn’t a rush hour zoo where I’ll be sitting in the drive through line or circling for parking. Found parking right outside no problem. Walked into a serene, airy, bright inspiration zone. It’s nice to start the morning reading inspo while waiting for a latte. The Basic Witch with oat milk is delicious and the takeaway cup is adorable gold foil. I didn’t have time to sit and enjoy in a real mug but I would next time. Lots of interesting indoor and outdoor seating options.

Stopped into this adorable coffee shop after having brunch at Oxford Exchange. The decor is cute and charming. I had the coffee of the month, I think it was a coconut something but it was delish. It's always nice to support a small business and not corporate coffee chains. Next time I'm in the area I'll certainly stop back in.

Coffee came in a mug with a design and tasted great. Their mother clucker was upside down so I turned it right-side up to find out it was cut badly (thus why it's called the BAD mother clucker). Music pretty loud for a morning coffee shop.

We loved everything about this coffeeshop! The ambiance is quiet enough to work in, but lively enough to sit and interact in. The staff was extremely welcoming, fast making orders, and helpful with any questions. Will be returning!

First of all, I absolutely LOVE this little spot! The overall vibe there is amazing. Its a great place to go catch up with friends OR stop to have a coffee and do some work! I've been here multiple times thus far and have no complaints! Their croissants are seriously amazing... and their chai. The staff is always super happy and willing to give recommendations on drinks!

What an awesome find in Tampa! My new favorite place! The staff is very friendly and greet you when you walk in. Such a cute and chill vibe with all the unique decor and sayings. I had the chocolate croissant and the drink of the month Coco Loco cold brew. They were delicious and even came with a flamingo straw to make my mundane day fun again! This is a definite spot to come and hang out or bring your friends/family. There is free parking in the garage behind the shop if you can't find street parking.

Enjoyed a delicious panini that was ready quick, and the drinks were delicious. I had a caramel iced latte with oat milk, it was perfect and a good size. It's a little pricey, but that's kind of just how it is at cafes these days. I love the decor, very fun, natural and unique. If I lived around here, I'd come to Lady and the Mug often!

Super friendly baristas, amazingly tasting coffee & a positive upbeat atmosphere! Was on vacation in Tampa with my boyfriend and wanted to grab coffee and breakfast one morning. We chose this place and are super happy we did! I’d visit this coffee shop anytime I was in town!

Adorable cafe. I tried the specialty Red Velvet Latte, with had the fun bonus of a chocolate straw to drink it with and then eat. Delicious! Bonus, they have a table with swing chairs.

Bomb sandwich! Perfectly melted cheese with tomato dices inside! Their cold brew is decent but taste a bit hosed down with the ice cubes. Loved the atmosphere! The swing sets is a very attractive idea to put in a coffee shop, keeps it memorable and unique compare to other shops. Free wifi provided with lots of outlets, study & workplace friendly 100%. Plenty of seating area aside from the swings inside & out and have a nice area to walk around if you get bored.

This place is so cute! I was walking by and decided to check it out, and their sign is correct- they are VERY instagrammable. I liked their variety seating, general vibe, and staff. The reason I give the three star review is for my drink. I got the drink of the month with oat milk and it didn’t taste like anything. It tasted mostly like colored oat milk. I didn’t drink it right away, so I didn’t realize the taste was off. I had to run back to work, so I didn’t have time to go back. I would still give them another chance (especially since so many reviews are positive), but my experience was just okay.

Always my favorite coffee shop to go to, food is always so good and the drinks are amazing. Everything about this place is welcoming to anyone and everyone. As well, the place is always clean and picture perfect! The atmosphere of the place is perfect for me to do my schoolwork in, I 100% recommend!!

Such a cute place! We were visiting so it was a great stop for us. Not sure I’d be able to afford a daily visit however… a bit overpriced. Food was yummy, coffee was decent. Ambiance was fantastic!

Sandwiches tasted great and not dry like sometimes at other coffee shops. Very cute decor and ambience for studying. Nitro cold brew was awesome and so many cute drinks to try here.

Stopped here for the first time the other weekend before heading to a fall fest downtown. Was a great experience! The fall drink that I got was adorable and delicious, and the atmosphere is great! Will definitely be back!
