Worst customer service back to back. I’ve been dealing with international diamond center for the past three years since my now husband, bought my engagement ring (we had issues with this back then) but from all of our experiences, It seems like if they’re not selling jewelry anything else is a bother to them and communication is awful and extremely unorganized. The environment I get is not friendly at all. I went in to get my ring dipped for same-day service because I live out of state now. I called a week before to make sure this would be possible and was told to speak to Michael, the manager when I came in. I came in and was given attitude by two associates when I told them this and I never got to speak to Michael even after I asked to speak to him. Additionally, I was told by a different jeweler that my rings are loose so I asked the man at international diamond center if they were loose and he lied to my face and said he checked them under his scope. If it wasn’t for the free cleaning, and re-dipping, I would never step foot in the store again.

Went in to get earrings for my daughter for Christmas... pleasant experience. Clean, safe, welcoming, sales seemed to know their stuff. Right up to the point where our sale was completed, and paperwork was being handed off to us. That's when Dina said she was going to put our important papers into their portfolio folder .."even though they are only $xxx studs". Really? Even though?! Does anyone remember the scene from Pretty Woman in the store on Rodeo Drive?? Maybe management should make that scene required watching for the sales force! Not really sure if we will ever shop there again. 3 stars only because the earrings are the focus of the sale & they are a good quality product. As far as having a good feeling when we left...1star would be more accurate.

I heard their radio commercial on 102.5 stating they pay top money in town for old diamonds and jewelry. I took an old diamond ring there after I was offered $8000 at a local jewelry store. IDC offered $3000. I took it to another local jewelry store and they bought it for $8700. IDC doesn't seem to back up what they are advertising. It also took over 5 minutes to be greeted by anyone there. The other 2 stores greet you immediately.

It was my 25th anniversary. I had planned to upgrade my wife's engagement ring and wedding band. She had hundreds of ideas. I chose IDC as our first stop. It was our last :-) We were treated as valued customers and guests. Or representative listened to everything and provided all the information we needed to make the best decision. The selection and options are plentiful. We we're never rushed. My wife tried on 20+ rings and with each one, our rep was just as excited as she was. A truly wonderful experience.

Tammy was so patient and so easy to work with. Super sweet and knowledgeable. She worked super hard to stay within my budget and explained the whole process

I went in today and asked if they could possibly take a link out of my son’s medical bracelet and the gentleman was so helpful. They were able to help me and did not charge me, despite my willingness to pay. It brought tears to me eyes and made me realize that some people have a heart. ❤️

Purchased a engagement ring & wedding band, 6 months ago, its "check up time" so we went in. Come to find out, they wanted $500.00 to resize, unacceptable. B&D however came to the rescue, don't buy from International Diamond buy from B&D on Kennedy, just west of Dale Mabry!! Service does mean something, International Diamond doesn't have! Frankly, Michael was flat out rude, condescending & arrogant.

This weekend my boyfriend and I came in to look at rings and I cannot say enough great things about this location. Upon walking in, the environment and people were so welcoming, the selections were perfect and the store was beautiful! Sometimes going into a jewelry store can be almost feel like walking into a car dealership with everyone trying to JUST make a sale, but this place was the opposite! The gentleman we worked with, I believe his name was David. He truly took his time to teach us everything we needed and wanted to know about diamonds. He not only listened to what we were looking for, he made us feel confident in knowing exactly what we want. I know I will get my dream ring and this store will make sure of it!

This company was a headache to work with and wound up ruining my engagement. At the end they fixed the issues and offered me $200 store credit. But compared to a once in a lifetime moment $200 is like a slap in the face. I used to tell all my friends about IDC and tell them about how great they were. But now I make sure to go out of my way to tell people to make sure not to goto IDC. I don't want more money I want a time machine to go back in time and tell myself not to goto IDC.

Honestly, we had a “meh” experience at both locations. The positive-both locations were clean and well kept. That is about it. My fiancé & I have an heirloom ring that is beautiful but hard to match a wedding band to. We heard and read nothing but great reviews about these stores. So, we went; and walked out feeling unwanted and discarded. I say this because after trying on about 4 to 6 rings- at both locations- the sales representatives lost interest in us. They started to look around at other customers. And once that happened we felt rushed, discarded, and that our business wasn’t valuable.

Edit day after pick up: I got a call this morning from David inquiring about my ring, and he asked me to come in so they could fix it. He also educated me on future care for my ring and the process it goes through with sizing/retipping a ring, this really helped me understand how they do things here and makes me feel more comfortable about coming here in the first place.THANK YOU DAVID Had I known I was going to receive the same mediocre service you get from jcpenny jewelers I would have gone there instead. Honestly, I was fine with the service until the end, so ultimately I would not recommend this place. I came in on 10/18 and was told a ring resize would take 10 days. On day 10 we called and were told it wasn’t ready yet but we would get a call soon. Day 12 I had to call THEM and ask on the status of my ring (which was ready on day 11) I don’t think they ever had any intention of calling me to let me know it was ready for pick up. Edit the day I picked up: my ring is different than when I dropped it off. There’s a whole diamond LOOSE in the ring that wasn’t there before.

I came to IDC based on a friend’s recommendation. From the moment I walked in, there was someone to greet me and assist my in looking for an engagement ring. Kim helped me from beginning to end. No pressure to buy now. I was able to communicate my ideas and my now wife’s likes. I found the perfect Diamond after many options being shown to me. The whole process was smooth. I was also able to combine two ring settings into one in order to make the perfect engagement ring for my now bride. This place is worth every cent. They had a great financing deal at the time of 5 years no interest. I would highly recommend coming to IDC. They have various locations to which I have visited and have received the same genuine care. Thanks again Kim for being such a great facilitator!

I love International Diamond Center in Carrollwood! Tammy is amazing and worked searching inventory through out their stores to make sure I got the perfect diamond stud earrings I would love. I appreciate her taking the time to pull items so everything was ready when I got to the store. I love that they help me in ensuring my jewelry is preserved by providing free ring sizing, rhodium finish, checking the prongs and tightening stones if need be and replacing accent diamonds at no charge! So many reasons to shop this amazing local jewelry shop!

I have to say, I am not impressed with International Diamond center. My girlfriend and I had decided to visit this store as we were looking for an engagement ring. We had heard about this semi annual sale and decided it would be a good time to check it out. The radio states how friendly the service is, how there is no commissions so its not a sales environment, how they treat you like family and all of these stress free statements. However when we walked into this store, we get some wondering eyes making us almost feel as if we were out of place or didn’t belong. We stand around for probably a good 10 minutes before someone finally comes up to us and asks if we been helped. This young lady was very kind. She starts showing us some rings and explaining differences to my girlfriend. About 3 minutes in to our experience with this young lady another man comes up interrupting her and asks if we had an appointment. I answer with no we just came in because we heard about you on the radio. Now this is starting to feel like a takeover, you have this man trying to sell over the top of the lady and I’m confused on who we should be talking to. They stated no commissions but this situation really felt like a *this was my turn to take a customer* situation. it made us uncomfortable. So while the young lady is still explaining different designs and rings to my girlfriend the man pulls me aside and asked if I had a budget in mind. Of course, I tell him my budget. This man then puts everything together and is WELL over my budget, I don’t mean by a couple hundred dollars. I mean 3 thousand over the original budget. Of course he doesn’t disclose the price until after he shows it to my girlfriend and puts the ring on her finger and now she is in love with this ring. Of course trying to explain to my girlfriend why I think we need to look somewhere else at this point now puts me in a horrible position, making me feel as if I wasn’t good enough or didn’t make enough money to make her happy. Luckily they did have a finance option. Even though I’m well over budget, this is very important. So we decide to move forward. We are sitting and waiting. This man disappears, for 15 to 20 minutes. I see him helping other people. I’m looking around. Other guests are being brought champagne and beer and people are receiving gift bags. Never once were we offered any of these things, have we not spent enough money? Is there a threshold you have to spend in order to be treated with a higher standard? The man finally comes back with paper work says fill this out place deposit and we will call you when its ready. That’s it? No this is the process, no this is the warranty, no explanation of anything no thank you for you thousands of dollars purchase? This was suppose to be a special time and experience for the both of us, and we left extremely uncomfortable. I would give one star, however the young lady was the only one who had actually seemed to care about how are experience would be. Also the rings were very beautiful. So if you are just looking for a quality stone without quality service, this would be the place to go. Update: I was very disappointed in my original experience with international diamond center here in tampa. You hopefully only once go through an experience like this. Although that special moment wasn’t what we were hoping for, the managers and owners reached out to me and were genuinely concerned with my poor experience. I really can appreciate that. I will come back for hopefully a better second chance.

Annette did a fantastic job of making sure I was heard and more importantly that my fiancée was heard even though I got it without her there I was still able to make the most elegant selection thanks to Annette. I know anyone going to IDC would be lucky to have half the experience Annette was able to provide--most of all my budget was at the priority of the experience!!!! Amazing results at an amazing price!

Most wonderful, relaxed, no pressure Jewelry store experience. I went there for a Valentines 2022 gift and "Cale" took great care of me. Not only she went the 1st & second mile to work with my budget, but even though I probably bought the most inexpensive item in the store, she made me feel as if I bought the biggest & most expensive diamond in the store. "Ms. Cale" is a great professional, knowledgeable, willing to help & a super classy lady. I will definitely go back. You will not be disappointed.

A few months ago I visited the store due to my center stone falling out. The store was so helpful with repairing the prong but when I picked my ring back up my stone was cloudy. They were not very helpful. Thankfully when I visited the Clearwater location they were helpful and fixed it. I would suggest just going to their sister store in Clearwater.

Always excellent and that is why we keep coming back. Scott Mckenzie was awesome. Knowledgeable and took the time to listen to what my wife's needs were. She is more than happy with the new ring. Thank you Scott!

We walked into IDC with the desire to upgrade my wife’s wedding band and possibly her Diamond. When we got to looking at Diamonds Dina was instrumental in the decision process. I have never been in a jewelry store that the people didn’t try to up sale you and try and squeeze as much money out of you as possible. We told Dina a range we were looking at in carat size and she brought out 5 different stones. Then by process of elimination with questions being ask from Dina we were able to choose one. The craziest thing about our experience was with each stone she would ask do you see a….(x amount of dollars difference). My wife skipped out of the store with her new band and the jeweler was able to make it to her specs which made her even happier. We have found our store for future needs, not working on commissions makes it a much more relaxed atmosphere for the customers.

Dina at IDC was a pleasure to work with while shopping for an engagement ring! She was very helpful and friendly from the start. We let her know what we were looking for and what our budget was and she went too work showing us some options. When we still weren't able to make a final decision, we set up an appointment to come back the following week. During the time leading up to the appointment Dina was able to transfer over some diamonds from other locations for us to look at and from those we were able to make a final decision. The team at the Tampa location (Dina and David) were very helpful throughout the process and we are very happy we went to IDC. :)

Highly, highly recommend. UPDATE 10/8/22 The bride to be was overcome by the beauty of her ring!!! I was asked by a friend to help him pick out an engagement ring. He knew the style he wanted and I knew that the International Diamond Center would have the designer. I took my friend to a different store first and while I can not fault them in any way, we were both impressed by the knowledge, courtesy, professionalism and quality of the International Diamond Center. I had a couple of exchanges with David and he assured me that Fortunato would be able to find the perfect choice. We are both absolutely thrilled about this experience. I had an opportunity to add another review. I took time to read through the other reviews. I am very happy I did! I knew from my first experience speaking with David through seeing this ring nearly blind my <lol >, and the couple are still stunned by the style, stones and services, yes services. Fortunato, I am one of those people who knows "a little " that can be a nightmare. I think David paired us up on purpose. The calm and patient explanation of every single detail with the groom was brilliant. I was only there for the one small reason, which I thank you for facilitating <grin>. I can't wait to come back to see you both.

I had the pleasure of working with Dina while shopping for a gift to celebrate my child’s arrival. I have had my eyes on a henri daussi piece for almost 10 years and IDC is the only local carrier of this designer. Naturally I had left my search for the ring until the very last minute and was very very pregnant at the time. Dina took the time out of her busy schedule to not only fit me in to see the piece three separate times, but she also took the initiative to retrieve the exact ring I had my eye on from one of IDC’s south Florida locations. She understood that my situation was timely (I literally went into labor the night we purchased my new ring) and she also understood my need to know the ins and outs of my purchase, why certain aspects of quality were important, and how every purchase is a big deal for a family. She was patient with my two year old son as he made himself at home in the store. She answered all of my questions thoroughly and even offered further information to assist me in making an informed decision. Her patience, attention to detail and education are unparalleled. She is truly a professional who not only loves her job but her clients, and it showed in every interaction we shared. I can’t say enough positive things about my experience and look forward to working with Dina again.

My fiance and I stopped by IDC on 01/30 and were immediately greeted with a smile by Greg. We explained we were looking into wedding bands for our upcoming May destination wedding, but we wanted to stay within a lower budget since everything was planned in a short amount of time. Greg was amazing! He was more than happy to sit with us and explore our options. He was honest and NEVER pushy. We initially went in with one style in mind and came out with something completely different after sitting and reviewing the options with him. He helped us find almost perfect matches for our engagement rings (mine was purchased from another big-name local jeweler and I still found something!) The quality of their jewelry is great, regardless of how expensive or less expensive. The ease of purchasing was definitely a plus and their standard warranty policy is better than any other place I've visited. We will definitely continue to use IDC (and Greg of course 😁) as our go-to jeweler from now on. Whether you have a smaller budget like ours or no budget at all, I would definitely recommend IDC AND Greg!! We couldn't be any happier with our experience as a whole.

I have been going to IDC for over 3 years. Purchased over $50,000.00 from them in jewelry. I had a wedding ring that was not sized correctly the first time and was resized. When I went to pick it up and said it was not correct size, the sales lady (who I considered a friend up to this point), said to take it and wear it and decide. I did. Went on a cruise and in the morning, my finger was blue from being to tight. I sent a picture of the finger and went back to have it sized. She made a big deal of it saying that it would cost them $1000.00 to resize and I would need to sign a receipt saying this is the last time to size. Did. waited waited waited. Finally sent text on a Friday a month later asking when the ring would be ready. She said Tuesday. Went to pick it up. Still too small. I wondered if it was not right. I texted her asking if sized. No response. Took it to another jeweler to check the size. It was still the same. At this point, i was so shocked. IDC actually lied to me! I went to the manager to get my $ back. Oh no they couldn't do that. He would resize for me, but wanted to charge the $75 for the resize (I guess it wasn't $1000.00. Now 2 lies) I AM SO DISAPPOINTED. and have met the owners at a Christmas party. Don't know what else to say
