Dr. Lewis is a very intelligent doctor. I really enjoyed every conversation with the receptionist. My experience with the office was terrible, it's actually what caused me end to my relationship with this practice, and to leave a 1 star. I was told by the Dr that I should go on his program for several months to work on my health concerns. Due to my rigorous travel schedule, working full time and owning a few businesses I could not currently uphold the time commitment for the appointments, testing, procedures. So I asked to do the appointments individually when I was in the area. I told them I would be doing the full program when I have some more time freedom, when I am at home more often in a few months. Nonetheless, I still started treatment, just with incremental appointments. When I spoke with the office BEFORE informing them of my wait to pay for the 7 month $7,500 program, they were concerned, responsive, and helpful. AFTER I informed the office I would be paying for individual appointments and waiting on the program (~$500 per appointment with supplements), everything went down hill. Minimal responses, avoiding conversations, treatment like a second par patient. Even during a critical health moment, an adverse reaction to their RECOMMENDED treatment, I received no new messages but a week later after reaching back out a few times, I did get the same message copy and pasted back to me. I halted treatments with them, and it's really unfortunate because i would have LOVED to partner with Dr. Lewis to improve the quality of my health. Now I am following up with a different integrative medical practitioner. Save your money. I hope Dr Lewis improves his staff.

I appreciate the care I receive from BioDesign. I felt as though traditional doctors weren’t looking at my body as a whole to find the source of my symptoms and left me with no real answers or ways to improve. Dr. Matt Lewis has been very considerate and thorough in helping me get answers and work through my health. Dr. Matt understands what a lot of other doctors fail to recognize (from a holistic perspective) and you can tell he cares about the well being of his patients. The staff members are very friendly anytime I interact with them (Cierra & Mercedes and others!) Phyllis has especially been my go to and always makes sure I’m taken care of. I heard of bio design through and friend and I am sooo happy I made the decision to make the drive from jacksonville Florida not once but twice! I chose Rachel as my injector and she was amazing I mean more than amazing. I was super nervous about getting my lips and chin done and she walked me through it and had facts to back them up. She spoke about her techniques and also pointed out where she would inject and lift and even out then asked me what I thought and what I would change and that made me feel so much better and ready to get started. I have seen some work from other people doing the same thing on everyone and as we know not everyone is the same, not every look looks good on everyone. She did what looks good on me and gave me realistic expectations. I love how natural her work is and how beautiful everything has healed. She was there for me every step of the way and I trust her with my face completely! Thank you so much Rachel for what you have done for me and being able to meet such kind sweet loving soul. This is my second time having Rachel do my lips and she is just amazing! So gentle and really makes sure you’re comfortable. She answers all my questions and really gives good advice when I’m inquiring about future procedures. I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else and she even ensures she’s available post-op just in case I have questions. 10/10 love her!

I have been seeing Dr. Lewis since February 2022 and in 2 very short months I am a different person. I have more energy, I am sleeping better and my body is being transformed from the inside out. My ultimate goal is weight loss however Dr. Lewis has walked me through a process of getting my body to restart and detoxify before the weight loss journey can begin. There are no false promises and no gimmicks. Phyllis is also amazing with helping me understand my journey. Great office. Great staff. Great results…so far…and I have a long way to go but I appreciate this journey and the support this team offers me.

Truly sad experience with this practice. As I am new to Tampa, I was looking for a practice to manage my hormones and thyroid. My first visit was a good experience. It went down hill from there. The doctor that first saw me had the bedside manner of a doorknob, looking at his computer most of the time. I confirmed on multiple occasions that I would be able to refill my thyroid meds through them. Yet when I would call for a refill, it was like they had no idea what that even was! I called 4 times to have the RX filled with no response. Used the "Patient Portal" for the request, again no response. I sent an email to the general practice on their website, no response. Someone needs to remind them that they are in the practice of medicine! Under no circumstances would I recommend anyone to this practice.

I was referred to BioDesign through a friend. I’m a new patient here but have had a wonderful experience so far. Dr. Lewis is very knowledgeable and puts you at ease. His process is very methodical and focuses on many important factors to help improve your overall health. The staff is very attentive and helpful and go out of their way to help.

Made me feel comfortable and Anna was a true professional. Detail oriented and took her time with my lips. All I can say is she performed a miracle . True artist on my lips! Bio Design made it easy for me to get my bloodwork done, and once it was identified that I was approved for HRT they ordered home delivery of my medication. It has been one month and I already feel 100% better. If you have been considering HRT, don’t wait! Feeling better is possible.

I started with Victoria at Bio Design as well as Phyllis and they work great together and provide the best of help in determining what’s best for your overall body and very importantly your health. After years of visiting regular primary care physicians, a friend referred me to the Bio Design team and Dr. Matt Lewis. I had experienced several years of slow but consistent weight gain, even though I was eating right and exercising. I drive all the way to Biodesign Of Tampa from downtown St Pete, where there is a med spa on every block...that's how much I love them! Generally speaking, the vibe is warm and welcoming - almost family like, yet the professional piece is there, as well! That's a tough mix to master, but they do! My affinity is more specific though - I absolutely love Rachel, her energy is like no one else's I've encountered anywhere for med spa stuff ! She's not just a practitioner or injector - she has the mind of an artist; skilled at her craft. 🥰 Rachel never made me feel "one size fits all" with her approach, she was honest and straightforward when she "got after me" 😉😂 for not using sunscreen. 🤦🏼‍♀️🥴😂 The actual service was perfect...her hands were made for this profession! No pain. Another layer of confidence is that she's an actual Physician Assistant ( that's medical model training for those of you who don't know!) After my service I spent time with the Owner and she was just as wonderful as Rachel!! I have been in customer service and sales all my life so I'm picky (!!) and she was the icing on what was already a fabulous cake! Helpful, informative, indulgent etc. 💖 As always, my experience was wonderful. I will continue to make the drive over the bridge for these gems and am exited for them and their soon to be new building! One suggestion - print out a copy of the credit card slip every time and add a tip line! I know that might feel awkward if it's something new to your business model, but those who want the option will appreciate it. 💖 Anyone who performs a service especially, as top tier as Rachel, deserves a tip and I'm confident her clients would be appreciative to be able to recognize her great work with a tip,should they choose, Thank you! This is the first office that I actually feel heard and are looking for the root of my issue. Dr. Lewis is such a great doctor, he takes his time to evaluate all of your history and based of your symptoms he can send for the right testing and treatment. Phyllis is PHENOMENAL, she is so sweet and always available when needing anything or have any questions. After coming here my attitude has completely changed from just accepting that I might not get better to seeing a light at the end of the tunnel.

I was really pleased at the beginning. I felt heard and like we might be able to get a handle on my hormones. However, when I had questions I didn’t get a call back. When I ran out of prescriptions I had to call twice to get them filled. The last straw was when only 2 of the 3 prescriptions were delivered with no explanation about the missing one. I’m done. Update: the prescription delivery was taken care of and the missing item was overnighted to me.

I've been with BioDesign for over a year and really appreciated the patient-centered approach. The staff is warm and willing to ensure my wellness is the top priority. Dr Lewis has been working with me to get off synthetic birth control pills to regulate hormones naturally. It has been a process, but Dr Lewis, Phylis, and the BioDesign team have been fabulous through the entire process. If you are looking for bioidentical hormone replacement, I highly recommend Dr Lewis and the BioDesign team.
