We have been both customers of and vendors at Vintage Modern over the past two years, and Suzanne and Dale are both joys to know. They are so friendly and knowledgeable, about antiques in general and about the contents of their store in particular, that you would think you were in some small town antique shop in rural America. They're not "hicks" though, their vendors have some amazingly cool retro and vintage merchandise and furniture that will keep you coming back again and again, and at good prices, too! You've heard the term "surround yourself with good people" and they do just that. It's definitely our go-to antique store in the Grand Central District!

I love this place! I live in Minnesota, but every time I'm home to visit family I make sure to stop by. My phone is currently filled with pictures of art I regret not buying and shipping to myself... highly recommend!

One of the best places to shop on Central Ave. Lot's of great vintage stuff. Like a museum. You will always find something that will bring back a memory. A very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable staff.

I had some time on my Saturday afternoon, so I stepped into this shop. What a pleasant surprise. They had so many interesting items in their collection. If you love antiques and unique collectibles, be sure to stop by this establishment!

Had an American made midcentury starburst clock we had been looking for. Great to find an original at a fair price and not have to purchase a new knockoff.

The best store on the strip! Always loved going in here and checking out the selection of antiques they have in stock. Have pretty much anything you could want and if they don’t you can ask for help from ether (Susann or Dale) both of them are nice and knowable about the business. Will be going back next weekend 👍

I've been a long time customer and love the shop! Contrary to one of the reviewers I've never seen any indication of racism/Nazi support/or any other bad behavior. I have always seen this shop as a supporter of the preservation of history and as friendly and knowledgeable as possible!

Great shop with very reasonable prices and the owners are really friendly. I recently purchased a set of bar stools that are from the 70s and I cannot get over the quality and condition they are in! They've got just about everything, so if you need furniture, decor, or collectibles, this store is definitely worth the trip!

I bought this adorable circus costume here at a great price because the zipper was broken and altered the back to fit me. I am so happy with it and the store overall is fascinating. So many intriguing things to investigate. I would recommend visiting.
