Went to the fair with kids . Nice park lots to do

Since my first visit here, the park is amazing. It's friendly with people everywhere. Play area here for the little people. Walkways that lead every direction. Rivers that meet. In time the waterways where a bringer of trade to the town. The castle had soon become a stately home and a focal point for places near by. The flower beds are spectacular, always kept clean and kept. Did catch the end of the games after a curry in town. I'll be visiting again soon.

The play park is fantastic for little ones, cafe next door for drinks and ice creams.

Lovely large space for the warm weather. I visited when the Tamworth Castle Fair was on so it was very busy and lots of things were going on. There is plenty of parking (£2.50 for four hours I think) which you can pay using card, cash and app. There are public toilets there and the whole space is wheelchair friendly.

Nice clean and tidy place to visit, the new park there is really nice and colourful, very accessible for all sorts of ages, lots of different physical activity 😀 The colourful flowers, plants and lovely grounds work and maintenance. There was a little fair there because it was the school holiday but it is moving around.

Beautifully kept grounds & and an excellent play area for the children & a good good cafe.

Visited for the annual firework display, it did not disappoint! It's free for a start in the grounds and was an absolutely excellent display timed to music. I've paid for far worse in the past, I hope the council keep this going! Had a good selection of food/drink stalls too, with jacket spuds to German sausage. Plenty of choice. Also had a gypsy fair.

A lovely place for a stroll any time of year, especially in the summer when the flower beds look fantastic. Tamworth historic castle is the icing on the cake here. There is also a cafe in the grounds and a children’s playground. There is an outdoor gym too with various machines to use. Two outdoor ping-pong tables are available to use too. Lots of benches and seating around the entire area. Lots of events take place here throughout the year, the summer months being the prime time for events.

Beautiful, very clean and well sign posted. was so surprised how beautifully calming Tamworth town, gardens and castle was !! Definitely going again. The Parking is so close to the children's park, surrounding castle and gardens so makes it ideal for disabled people and people with young children. Would suggest going morning before 11am as gets very busy after that.

Stopped overnight in Tamworth and had a little walk around the castle grounds. Very relaxing.

Great park and amenities. Park is suitable for children of all ages and abilities, with wheelchair friendly swings and roundabouts. There is a cafe situated next to the playarea and public toilets too. The walk around the castle and park is beautiful.

What a superb park , very well kept & colourful flower beds. Children's play area is the best we've ever seen and trust me after 2 children ( now adults) & 3 grandkids we have been to plenty 😁 there's also cafe / ice cream / public toilets / picnic benches. Really a nice place to visit, with or without children. Enjoy.

Went to look for the missing letters around castle grounds to make the words'bunny hops' kids got free easter egg. Had a free moddelling balloon. Very friendly.. Lovely day , sun shining

I love walking through the Castle Grounds their flower displays always look amazing. Such a pleasure to walk past. Also there is so much for children to do there.

This is a truly remarkable place. Been here loads of times with the kids and every trip is awesome. The gardens are pristine, and the playground is second to none. There is a cafe serving hot food and hot and cold drinks, desserts etc. there are toilets right by the playground. Parking is cheap too.

It’s really chill to be there. There are lots of beautiful areas from the playground to the picnic area, the bowling place, and enduring view of the castle. I had a great time and it holds a beautiful memory of mine. It’s definitely a place to be with your partner, family, kids, and loved ones.
