Great experience with the site but the social interaction with the security guard was horrible. He was not hospitable at all, and we really had to make up for that by speaking to the park warden who was a darling. Can't have a successful tourist site without proper hospitality.

A Great historical site that dates back to the days of Christopher Columbus. Well taken care of and just a great place to visit. Cost per day entry is $5 U.S. per person or $12 for a weeks pass which gets you into all the other National Parks including the famous Trafalgar Falls.

If you like history this is a nice place. The fort itself has been restored beautifuly, but we love it mainly for the entire surroundings with plenty of paths to Explorer, ruins and nice views on Dominica and the sea

The site is interesting and some buildings are nicely preserved. Though years after the hurricane damage pathways/ trails are still damaged and rough. But that made for some private hiking

Very nice place for easy hike with interesting historical and biological facts. Some view points were covered by high trees, so there was no view at all, but that's the nature.

History and great views with a bar. You have to get a permit to visit so just think of you've already bought a day permit, then you don't need another.

Fantastic and well-preserved fort in a national park - highly recommended!
