While going to Nalgonda from Chautauqua via Veliminedu, we can visit this temple which is located beside the highway. The temple is on the right side of the road before entering Veliminedu. So, we can reach here easily

Usually a 'default' stop whenever I'm on my way to Hyderabad. It feels relaxed to step off the car for a short stop to visit this temple.

A small decent temple situated on Vijayawada- Hyderabad National Highway at Veliminedu Village where Main Deity is Lord Anjaneya Swamy. Said 400 yrs old Hanuman Idol found under a tree and Temple was constructed for devotees to worship. Visitors who travel to and fro from Hyderabad & Vijayawada visit the Temple. Temple was neat and clean and had seating benches to relax for those who are travelling long journeys.

Hanuman temple on highway. People trust as God who will save travellers who ride from here to come back to their homes safely from any road accidents. This is well maintained temple. Decent walkways. No restrooms Timing are been followed but, can have darshan of lord with grills. Can offer puja personally. Can buy coconut, flowers etc. Most perform vahana/vehicle pooja. Earlier, there used to be a aged blind pujari, who was helping people with whatever he have with , but he left this earth 2yrs ago.

Lord Hanuman temple at veliminedu on Hyderabad Vijayawada Highway. Be careful while crossing the road as vehicles pass through high speed.

I really never visited the temple. While driving from Vijayawada to Hyderabad on a night journey, I felt sleepy and stopped here for taking a nap. There was ample place to park your car and take a nap without causing disturbance to the traffic. I’ve seen one another car stopping for taking rest. There’re several benches where you can rest if you’re comfortable sleeping outside at night time.
