This is a very old establishment since my mum and dad’s younger years at Muara Karang area. Now it’s relocated at PIK near PIK Golf Island. It has nostalgic and sentimental flavor for my palate. Food here is amazing. It’s not as crowded as it used to. So wait time for food and table are short. We ordered so much for four people. I think I even reordered their famous grilled chicken. So so good. Its bumbu is strong and flavorful. The cuisine is dominantly Chinese Seafood restaurant with peranakan touch. You can order chili crab or chili prawns for that matter; the recipe is handed down for generations. Similar taste to Jum** in Sinciapo. Dip your fried mantao with chili sauce. Super yummy. All fish are fresh. You have to try their Gurame terbang or grilled gurami; if you like curry gulai kepala ikan also a must. Grilled alu alu fish is my personal favorite. Don’t forget to order fresh and cold beverages to pair with rich tasting seafood feast. A beer or two and kelapa batok (coconut in a shell). Selamat makan.

Casual Dining place for Indonesian Food. I was quiet often visited their previous branch in Muara Karang area. Love their Gurame Acar and Chicken Satay. The new place located in PIK Island area, bit smaller place than before, but cozy style. Foods are still same taste like before, only was realize that the Chicken Satay size smaller now tham before hahaha.

Avoid this resto unless you are totally clueless where to get good seafood… Fish head smell. Crab was not fresh. Noodle tasted sweet. Fried fish has soil taste.

Delicious food, price wise, the space is narrow because this is a ruko, clean toilet, cool aircon, spacious car parking, service ok, food time arrival is good. Good choice for sunda style resto in PIK

Must try indonesian food! The place is neat and clean, with good interior and ambience. Recommend to eat with your family. We come here on weekend and get some menu: 1. nasi liwet (12k/pax and u can order for some pax. On frame is for 3 person. Their nasi liwet is so yummy, the rice is cooked well and smells so good) - MUST TRY 2. Tahu kipas - also must try (one of the famous menu, consists of vegetables and prawn, so good). 3. Cumi goreng asem (the squid is cooked perfectly, chewy and the sauce is also good) 4. Ikan gurame goreng kering (the gurame is fresh and not oily at all, dip in the ketchup sauce, so yummy) 5. Paket nasi ayam goreng mentega (I don’t try this but my brother says it’s good. The chicken is well marinated and so tender). 6. Sambal pecel, sambal bawang and sambal dabu-dabu (the sambal are not free, we must order from the menu. There’s so many kind of sambal we can choose and all sambal are yummy) 7. Sayur asem (must order! It’s hard to find a good sayur asem, but they have it. The soup is so good, the sweet and sour are so balance) 8. Mie goreng ulang tahun (they have promotion for birthday person -max H+5, with min order 500k and u’ll get free mie goreng ulang tahun as seen on the photo). It has big portion. We also take away fried tofu and paket ayam bakar that not on frame. Overall, it’s a good experience eating here. Please come and visit muara kuring👍

Nice and cute place with delicious traditional Indonesia food

The food is tasty, reminiscence of the original restaurant at Muara Karang that we used to go to when we were kids. Anyways, we ordered chilli crabs, grilled squid & grilled prawns along with veggies like Karedok, sayur asem & tauge cah ikan asin. The seafood is fresh, the veggies are plenty & the coconut water is perfect to quench the thirst. The restaurant itself is quite small, we (3 of us) were seated on the 2nd floor but were told to all sit in the sofa because there wasn’t enough space on the aisle for the staff to walk by. It’s fine not a big deal but it was just awkward cause all of us had to sit side by side 😂 The iced tea wasn’t refillable, unfortunately. The sambal mangga is decent. I bought the sambal bawang home, it was delish. Came on saturday for lunch, place was pretty packed but no wait-list and there were still space on the 2nd floor.

First time to had a dinner in here with family. The gulai kepala Ikan is the best, very soft and the broth is thick and the nasi liwet is also very good. We order gado-gado, iga bakar, ayam bakar, terong bakar. Everything was nice. And the price also affordable, not pricey. The ambience on 2nd floor also nice and clean.
