Charged me a lot for the work he did, and he wouldn't even take the time to find the major leak problem unless I committed to $1000. There was already an opening, all he had to do was unscrew the plate and look. I had a different company out today and he found the problem right away. Not even close to the price these people wanted to charge me. I will never use Brooks again or recommend them. SURPRISED by the high rating they got. Maybe it was the tech Paul they sent to me.

I had Brooks plumbing out for an estimate on some work I needed done. I called and set up the appointment, no problem. Day of the estimate, guy is a no show. We text back and forth, and he says he can come later in the week. When he finally does come I show him around the house and then offer to show him the crawlspace so he can look under the house, like the other 3 plumbers did in their estimate. He tells me it's $249 to look under the house, and that I already owe him $49 for the house call. I told him nobody ever mentioned any cost for the estimate. He said that we'd discussed it on the phone, but we hadn't, because I would never have had him out if it was going to cost me $49 just to discuss my problem. After that he was out of there, telling me, "Good luck with that," sarcastically as he left.

Guy shows up a week late for a quote and then the quote was four times more than three other companies! His truck was by far the nicest though. When I told the guy why I wasn't doing business with him he had the gall to defend himself instead of just saying he didn't want the work. Not professional at all, and kinda insulting like he is used to everyone knowing he is charging to much. I did not appreciate the sarcastic "Good Luck" comment when I let him know we would NOT do any business with him. [UPDATE] other company did job for $500 out the door and the quote from Brookes was $1800.

Paul installed a shower base, re-did pipes for shower, and installed a shower faucet/handle and a sink faucet. The plumbing works fine, but there was a significant lack of communication and failure to keep me informed, he did not follow up without prompting on when the fixtures would be in, and did not communicate to the contractor or myself the size of the shower pan which became a big deal when the contractor and I planned one thing and Paul wanted another. There were constant snide remarks about the fixtures I ordered from the place he sent me to order them; several times Paul referred to my choices as “your fancy special order fixtures” and appeared exasperated that I chose Delta fixtures instead of his preferred brand Moen. The company demanded payment in full when the job was half done, although when I resisted that, they finally agreed to let me pay half and then I paid the other half when the job was completed. In the end, I told him I was just ready for it all to be done so i didn’t have to communicate with him any longer. Good work, very poor customer service and communication.

I'm just curious what happened to the followup of the in home estimate like 10 days ago? You came to my home then I didn't hear back. A reply to the original appointment confirmation email bounced back as undeliverable. I guess I need to find another plumber? I'm not in a big hurry but at least communicate and get me an estimate going that's good for 30 days like you said when you left.

I have being doing business with Paul for many years and they have provided excellent service. Paul is the best as his trade and I can count on him always. Being doing business with him for over 15 years now and I will continue using his services always

I had a burst pipe that needed replacing. He came out, repaired it, and I'm up and running at the low end of his quote! I'm VERY happy!

We purchased a new house in Lacey WA, and have had Terry out many times. We feel he is honest, informative, experienced and hard working. He stands behind his work. We had him install our new water heater and he wouldn't leave until we had hot water, even though it was late in the evening. Our gas water heater had a small pin hole leak and he came out the next day first thing to make sure it was fixed. We plan on having him do some work for our business in the next few weeks as well. He is our family plumber.

Recently, I had minor plumbing and sink repairs to do at my home. Even though this was a very small task, Paul from Brooks Plumbing responded promptly, found a solution for one of my issues that was quite reasonable, and repaired everything that was in need of repair. I appreciate their good work, and customer service.

Brooks Plumbing has always been there for me. Terry, Paul and the gang are courteous, timely, responsive and try to find the best solution to a problem. I can heartily recommend them and have been doing business with them for over 10 years.

I would like to extend my personal thanks to Terry Brooks for the excellent job he did for us regarding a probably somewhat unusual job we required. the results were no less than perfect, he arrived on time as agreed to his workmanship was efficient, professional and exactly as needed. After our experience concerning this work I would feel very confident in using his services for any future need and would be more than comfortable to recommend his company to any of my friends or family that might find themselves in need of plumbing services.

Unfortunately I don't have a good review. I wish I could say something good but it was ...a different kind of experience for me. Not only I got overcharged for a very simple service but also Paul insulted me. When I asked why the price was so high he told me that I still had some things to learn about "business" since I bought my house only last year. I spent 7.5 years in colleges learning about business. One thing you should never do when you overcharge people is be condescending to them☺ I mentioned to Paul bad reviews on here and he laughed at it...They do have a different location posted on Google with less then 2 star reviews. That is customer care that they have! Way to go guys! Keep it up you will be out of business in no time. I recommend White Knight plumbing to anyone who is looking for a good deal. I did call around before I hired Brooks and they still overcharged me and insulted me.

These chaps were recommended to me via friends--and brother, friends did not steer me wrong! Paul (Brooks Plumber) was friendly, professional, provided solutions, and nailed the job in just under an hour. This was my first "plumbing" job, so I didn't know what to expect other than ways of selling my car to pay the bill. But that too was exceptionally fair--price, service, courtesy, yup Brooks nailed it with me, and I would use them again too!

Brandon brooks is professional with a great work ethic. Plumbing was done on time and to code.
