No one in the office. No information left out about the units or anything. Outside door states they are open from 9-6 and it's currently 3pm. Inside door states they will be back at 10 am. I only have a limited amount of time to look for housing while I'm in town.

Editing my review and taking off two stars. This building is under a new management company as of January 1st, 2021. Which coincidentally is the day after we moved out. The new company is called Pacific Living Properties and is a mega-corporation based in California. If you look at their site - they manage hundreds of properties and have clearly made a ton by hiking up rent up and down the west coast and apparently in Montana as well. I knew that we were going to have a delay in getting our security deposit back because of the change over and I didn't mind because we understood it was under new management and the property manager was probably busy. I sent an email the day we moved out with our forwarding address as well as included it in our intent to vacate notice sent and we confirmed that our forwarding address was updated in our file that would be transferred to the new company. A month went by which is when I started to wonder why we hadn't received and email or any kind of update. WA State law states that landlords have 21 days to either send you your deposit or notify you that they will be witholding part of the deposit. I emailed them again - letting them know this - and they responded that they didn't have our forwarding address but they sent it to our old address (the unit we vacated... At the building we just moved out of). Which I thought was interesting but whatever because I enabled mail forwarding. Two more weeks go by - nothing. I contact them again asking them the status and they say they don't know so I asked have their corporate office (in California) reissue a check and cancel the one they sent previously (which never did show up by the way...). They obliged and sent another - which we actually got pretty quickly. Then a lot of confusion ensued on their part if that was the original check or the live one. Mind you - there was never any mention of us being charged for anything this entire time so you can imagine my surprise when I opened the check to see they had taken $150 of the $300 deposit for carpet cleaning and cleaning. The apartment was perfect aside from the knick out of the flooring in the kitchen that was there when we moved in and was annotated on our move in inspection luckily. When I tell you that apartment was spotless - I'm telling you it was cleaner than it had ever been. I absolutely loved that apartment and it was really an emotional experience to leave. I found cleaning it for the last time completely cathartic and used the time to reminisce and give the place some love. While living there - I did deep cleaning weekly, as well. Every inspection we ever had while living there (at least annually) would get notes written on it that would say "extremely clean," "spotless," etc. With pics and docs to prove it. The new company's policy is apparently to charge everyone that moves out a cleaning and carpet cleaning fee - no matter the state of the apartment unless you hire professional and give them the receipt. That WAS NOT indicated anywhere in any of the previous leases we signed with the old company. We never signed a single shred of paper with this new company's name on it but I guess they still feel entitled to taking money from working people to increase their profit margins on some of the only affordable housing that was left in that area. It's not about the money they took. It's the principle of the thing. I should say this isn't to knock the on-site property manager or maintenance (Richard is the best) - just the company's policies and practices. Original review when Dobler managed the property: My wife and I have been living here since October 2015 and we have no plans to leave any time soon. This building is in a great location. It is within walking distance of Fred Meyer, Target, many restaurants, the Lacey Transit Station and more. The current leasing office maintenance staff is awesome. They are available, understanding, and helpful. The apartment layouts are nice and many of the units have walk-in closets. Parking is bad late at night. Great place to live.

I've been here for a little over 4 months now and I love this place. The layouts are really nice for the 1 bedroom with the little den area. I'm also on the ground floor so the ceilings are VERY high, they are the same height as the covered parking spots and are really solid because I very rarely hear my upstairs neighbors. The walls are really solid as well as I have NEVER heard my next door neighbors on either side. The free parking isn't ideal if you come home late from work or school as spots can be quick to fill up meaning you end up parking in a spot farther than you'd like (still within the complex), but I opted in to get an assigned space and Sarah has been extremely helpful with everything, even helping me get a spot closer to my apartment. Speaking of Sarah, can I just say she is amazing. Always friendly and smiling, always remembers everybody she sees, and very helpful with any questions or concerns I had. The location is perfect too, no major traffic noise, close to all the shopping areas (Fred Meyer, Target, Starbucks, Office Depot, etc), and close to i5 without having to deal with too much traffic. I have no concerns regarding safety and security here. The apartments on the 2nd floor and higher all need key card access, but I'm on the first floor so I don't need that. I've had packages delivered and left on my doorstep all day while I was at work and they are right where they should be when I get home. 4 months in and I've already decided to renew my lease next year, this is a great place to live.

I've lived here for a year and a half now. The staff is very nice and understandable. They have apartments with newer appliances, but mine is the older appliances, so I can speak for that. It is very cheap compared to many similar apartments but doesn't sacrifice in quality and especially good for younger married couples in the military who want to save a lot of BAH. The only con I can think of is no pool but that's something I don't mind at all. They are pet friendly and I recommend choosing 6Wood Flats if you are looking for an apartment.

I moved into 6 Wood Flats to get away from a cheap, thin-walled, laundry-facility apartment complex, and I couldn't be more happier. Management was extremely helpful, kind, and patient when I was planning my move and on my move in date. The ONLY problem with noise was base from a neighbor, and Management took quick action and I also talked with my neighbor who was completely understanding. This is a quality apartment complex to live in with great service.

So far this place has been alright. Good area next to alot of stores and fast food restaurants nearby also even a sandwich shop in the same building. The managers are really friendly and helpful. This is my first place in Washington state so it's been a great time here. Maintainance here is amazing and quick. He is knowledgeable and friendly. Anything I needed work on was done quick and neat. Definetly 5 stars for me!

This is a wonderful place to live. They are quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Its quiet and they do all they can to maintain a safe environment. The maintenance department is second to none. They are quick, knowledgeable and flexible. I plan on staying here for a very long time. Also the apartments are large and reasonable prices.

My time at 6wood Flats was actually one of the top apartment experiences I've had. I needed around 6 months of interim housing and signed a lease there. Maybe my bar is low because I've had some really negligent landlords and property managers at places I've lived in the past, but overall, I was just generally pretty impressed with 6wood. The complex was clean, quiet, and it was nice having accessible staff be onsite during business hours. My first-floor unit was warm, dry, clean, had new, working appliances, hot showers, and setting up utilities was simple. The package locker was convenient. The price for a centrally-located 1 bedroom was good. The processes of signing a lease, moving out, having maintenance issues dealt with (some kids next door busted through the fence off my back patio, fixed within 48 hrs) were all easy. There's some stuff that comes with the territory of a large apartment complex - parking, people leaving messes by the dumpster, etc, but I'd have been happy to live there long term. Bonuses - it's RIGHT near the connector to the Chehalis Western Bike Trail, next to two great coffee shops (Fog and Fern, Ebony and Ivory) and shares a building with Andy's Bistro, which has good banh mi, ramen and pho.

Was a decent renter for 2 years…. Come to find out they charged me for paint and carpet over a 1000. When i was Told on move in the carpet was due for replacement for a 5 year limit. So i apply To live there. Understands it needs updating? And you charge me for it? Messed up.
