If you get a room with heat you won. Bring a vacuum, cleaning supplies and Unless you love the smell of being covered in the smoke-filled cigarette burned blanket bring you own Linens. Pictures missing from the walls, dirty room, and bathroom. If I were homeless I’d feel this is a downgrade. The cart to clean the rooms is just left out in pee smelling hallway if you want to clean yourself. The hallway hasn’t been vacuumed since the 90s, you may find a pog, slammer or beanie baby. The rattling of the fridge and freeway makes a nice noise all though the night. If you love sleeping with distractions here’s your chance. Pool and hot tub yes, nope they are down. The customer service is great, nope lady hums to herself, rude, unprofessional and can barely speak English. I’ve stayed in 1000+ hotels this is the worst.

Old run down building. slow 30 min. just to check in. Scary looking guests. Ice maker locked behind closed door. No breakfast. Definitely do not recommend. Dirty carpet in hallways. Did I mention really scary looking guests.

Terrible booking experience Booked a room here over the phone with a friend last min. because most other hotels in the area were fully booked. Just needed a room after a late night out because it was too late to drive home. We made a reservation over the phone for what we were told was the last available room at this location. Payment and booking details were taken over the phone. Upon arrival (maybe 30 min. after booking) we arrived to check in only to find the front lobby and desk empty. After a few minutes of waiting, a guy who had been out front smoking what smelled like weed, came inside to check us in. We were then informed that no reservation under our name existed and that no rooms were available. The front desk employee re checked availability for us and did eventually say there was a room available. At this point we had to re book and make another payment. For whatever reason the payment process was incredibly cumbersome. I have never experienced such a terrible drawn out experience making a simple payment for a room. Several cards would not process through their system and each attempt to run payment was slow. After 20 min. of trying to complete the booking process we left and were able to book a room with a nearby Hilton garden within minutes and without problems.

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT STAY AT THIS SO CALLED MOTEL AT ANY COST!!!!! We booked for four nights but after arriving exhausted at 2 a.m. we spent the night and got out the next morning. They flat out rudely REFUSED to refund our money (we were robbed $500). We didn’t even bother to unpack and slept with all our clothes on and didn’t use the blanket. I was traveling with my husband and 9 month old baby and none of us got a wink of sleep due to loud people coming and going all night and the horrendously loud heater (it was a cold night). The room and the whole place was absolutely filthy with marks on the walls, peeling and dirty carpet, dirty towels and bedsheets (THERE WAS A BLOODSTAIN ON THE BEDSHEET) and the smell was awful. There was call girls and homeless people roaming the place. The bathroom was not suitable for use so couldn’t shower. Nothing in the room worked. They gave you two pillows and just a couple towels. This place is trash and an absolute roach motel. It is a health hazard and needs to be shut down immediately. I felt soooo dirty and contaminated being there. There was mattresses laying to waste in the hallway. This place is a scam and crooks are the owners. I asked to talk to a manager and was rudely lied to that the manager wasn’t available until next week. I emailed them and now 7 days later still no response. This place is a nightmare and they don’t care and will keep your money even if you don’t stay. Please beware and do not stay here for any reason.

Why I reviewed what I reviewed; Rooms: Were clean. A few things that could have been fixed or upgraded but given to inflation, the undercare of visitors or tourists. I honestly don't blame the owners of this establishment to do so. Until people who rent a stay learn to be more responsible & respectful. Service: From the moment, my family and I step foot with our service animal. Service was a 100%. The front desk clerk(s) hospitable, friendly and very willing to help. No complaints there. Location: It was very well hidden but then again it's Washington. It's scenic environment is everywhere. Overall: We came when things were being renovated, fixed or slowly being organized. However, this place was what I wanted and expected to give my family the experience they needed. It gave off a very "The Shining" vibe lol. Which I'm very comfortable in. It helped give my family the opportunity of a humbling experience. Yes, I would return here. When everything is up and going. Affordable for sure.

Rated it a 1 so I could place a review otherwise it'd be a 0. Would not recommend. Front office attendant needs to work in her customer service skills, pool not working and room smelt & not clean. If you stay there make sure to check your windows if on the first floor to make sure they're closed & locked.

I am not able to give 0 stars!!! This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. after a long trip and fishing all day, I just wanted a hot shower and a good nights sleep. I revived nether at this hotel. I was told after I checked in that there was no hot water. then was given a key to a room that was already occupied, then given a room that was nothing like I booked! I booked a King, received 2 queens. The room I did receive was absolutely filthy with cigarette burns everywhere! The carpet pulled off the wall and the Lamps shades were all messed up. The whole experience has me rethinking being a Wyndham member!

I had a booking at Super 8. What is happening here, is cops on site, homeless people, shopping carts, and a car with no windows. I walked in with my luggage. First question I asked, was is this hotel been used as a homeless shelter? The person behind the counter told me yes. I told them I was not going to stay their, and to refund the booking. They told me they could not. Paying for a hotel, where it is also been used as a homeless shelter, is not good. Their is no other way to put it. I left and booked in a different hotel

If you are looking for a decent motel for a night. keep on looking. This is just a visual opinion since I ended up not staying at this place. After 2 hours of waiting for them to locate a suitable room to match my simple reservation (one bed, no smoking), I realized- this place seems like somewhere that junkies go to die. I then canceled the reservation and found another motel. There are plenty of them in the immediate area. Location wise- It's wedged in between a Dennys and an Interstate with really bad access. One way in/out and traffic flow will lead straight to the interstate if your unwilling to risk directly cutting across multiple lanes at once. Staff wise- I'm hoping I just caught them at a shift change because there were three different people working the front desk, but no one seemed to know who was cleaning/prepping rooms. No one seemed to really grasp covid protocols either, especially the employee coughing and sneezing their way across the lobby. All things considered- there's a reason Super 8s are the lowest price hotel in the Wyndham chain. And judging by the weeds growing out of the rain gutters, the company has decided to not invest anything into improving this unit.

Well, YOU were chasing me in the lot. That alone gets you five stars. You all are a great bunch of people. I was in 209. The refrigerator, sounds like Darth Vader. LOL!! Take a listen. Keep up the good work.

My first room had no HOT water and mold in the refrigerator. I went to the front desk and asked for another room. The young Indian woman (arrogant) wrote down the complaint and never did anything about it. I went up to the office 5 times before I got another room on a different floor. She had very poor people skills, and didn’t seem to know her job very well. The second room was much better but one of the bathroom light bulbs was out, which made the room very dark. I went to the office to report the light bulb was out, and the same young woman was working at the front desk. Again, she wrote down my complaint and the bulb never got changed. I had to use my iPhone flashlight to light up the bathroom while I took a shower. I went out to eat at the Denny’s next door, I came back to the hotel and my key didn’t (3 times) work to get in the building or my room. The overall view of the entire hotel, failed in many ways. There were used mattresses on the first floor in the hallway. There were many homeless people walking around at night. The place was filthy and rundown. Certain places in the building had a mold smell (health hazard). Bad cable signal (limited channels) in both rooms. Outside dumpster was full of RATS. I am shocked the board of health have not shut them down. I am ex military, whom been all over the world, and can handle my own, but, I would never recommend this place to any friends or family member, ever. There is a reason why this place is so much more cheaper than other hotels in that area. DON’T STAY AT THIS PLACE.

If we hadn’t of been staying for only 12 hours we would have went elsewhere. Most importantly; the beds were clean, no sign of bed bugs or bites (room 111) other than that it is kind of a dump. Points for the front desk person and because they didn’t charge me a pet fee. The whole building had a really odd smell and the carpet is disgusting. The AC in our room smelled horrible of mold we couldn’t stand to turn it on which made the room get super hot and stuffy. Had to brave leaving our window open for the night (first floor). There was only one light in the whole room in which they forgot to take the packaging off of. The shower didn’t look like it was cleaned and the toilet leaked all over the floor. It looks like they are in the middle of renovating rooms so maybe things will improve.

I had to switch rooms more than once because the first rooms heater wouldn’t turn on and the second rooms deadbolt lock was busted off, and as a woman staying alone i didn’t feel safe in a room without a deadbolt lock. The young man at the front counter was more than accommodating both times and also did so with a smile on his face. I was unsure about the hotel at first, but his flexibility and kindness made my night a whole lot better. The hotel itself is okay for the price, with hotels like this every single room is different so you get what you pay for. The customer service however, was outstanding. And even tho I felt extremely bad for having to ask to switch rooms twice, they still accommodated me so that i could feel safe and comfortable.

The staff are the strongest hard-working people I've ever known. The staff work hard at keeping the place clean and neat. No matter how busy they get no matter how hard they are working they always take the time to be kind and helpful. They are amazing and their perseverance should be acknowledged. Thank you for saving me. and saving my family.

This place is a dump. The first room we were in smelled of urine, had patched holes in the wall & the carpet & chair were so filthy that I didn’t want to touch anything. The staff was very accommodating & a gave is a different room when we politely complained. The second room was much better but still way below general standards.

I was not the person staying at this motel, I was visiting a friend there. Despite my friends somewhat messy ways of living the room was very basic. The very minimum of effort put into decor, and even less in comfort as far as the towels go. My friend didn't complain about the bed being too hard or soft so I guess that's really all that matters.

Absolutely disgusting! Floors are gross , tables not clean , bed skirts had stuff all over them , bathroom had no soap. I have videos and pictures of everything. I called prior to make sure pool/hot tub were open and was verified it was for it to be closed. Other customers in lobby were all complaining as well. One customer was waiting 4 hours for a refund after being moved 3 times each room just as gross. Been trying to get a refund since Sunday. No one will return any calls or emails to the booking company. Only thing we have been told is it's non refundable. Even though property is just awful. Also found out they work with the city and house the homeless. That all should be known up front . Their website makes it look like it's clean and safe . It is absolutely not.

You know, if it was one thing it wouldn't be that bad. I've definitely stayed in worse places. If it was just the carpets that clearly haven't been cleaned in months, the constant smell of weed in a non-smoking motel, the paper thin walls, barking dogs in rooms, slamming doors at midnight, fire alarms going off without any reaction, screaming drunks in the parking lot, people throwing their trash on your vehicle at night, and the open drug use in the parking lot, that would be something. Instead it's all of that, and probably more. Stay anywhere else.

The room we stayed in was absolutely disgusting. The floor was damp and stunk of urine, the bedding was unwashed, the bathroom was dirty, our non-smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke. The man who checked us in was inept and made a five minute process almost an hour long as the reservation site was broken for this location and he either couldn't understand that we wanted to check in (it was close to midnight, an emergency, and we had a baby) or didn't want to check us in. He also interrupted us mid-check-in to hold a personal conversation for several minutes without apology or excuse. And when we were complaining at checkout about the state of the room, a female staffer piped up and said all the rooms were dirty. Avoid this place.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. And then, sometimes you don't even. The place was filthy and looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months, and in terrible repair. Check-in took almost an hour because they kept failing to activate the key card (we never did get a working key) and then couldn't figure out which rooms were clean (answer: none), and moved us three times before we settled into our room that had no pillow cases, no towels, no soap or shampoo, no TV remote. Some of the lights didn't work, the water was backwards in the sink and shower (hot vs cold), hotel staff barged into the room without knocking... They were clearly understaffed and the few employees seemed really stressed, disorganized and possibly high. There appeared to be some sort of drug deal going down in the parking lot. Our neighbour in the room across the hall seemed to be using the toilet very loudly with the door wide open. Maybe pick somewhere else until they can sort out their issues.

The place was filthy. Greasy, oily unknown substance near coffee maker and tables. Ants everywhere. Changed rooms. A little bit cleaner. The heater didn't work. Had to get an extra blanket from front desk. Outside was dirty. Trash everywhere. People smoking on side entrance, leaving trash behind. I don't recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs.

This place was a nightmare. Stayed here on a business trip and the location has been black listed by the company. Stayed 3 days, never once saw a maid. THEY DO NOT CLEAN ROOMS!!!!! There was a dead rat at the front door. Stayed the whole time I was at this location. one of my coworkers, came into a room that still had trash all over. My sheets were covered in cigarette ahses. My room had a smell that cannot be described. The sink was disconnected from the wall and had mold. Socks turned brown from walking on the floor. The floor had a residue you can feel. BED BUGS!!!! Was told by a local waitress, that the super 8 was used as a homeless shelter at one point. I doubt it has been cleaned since. I think it is criminal for them to sell rooms in this condition. If you stayed here you should be compensated for staying here by the parent company. Owners of this location deserved to be locked up. You think I am over the top with this review? I challenge anyone to stay here. Wyndham, I am contacting you about this. I cannot believe you let your brand be used with this location. SHAME!!!

Super 8 hotels aren't exactly the cleanest the could/should be, but that's expected. The things I have had a genuine gripe with, are things that they couldn't fix without closing the building and repairing. Room was decent, a few items left behind the the T.V. console from a previous guest. No bugs, which is something to check for anywhere you go. The sink and shower had issues, again something that's not fixable by staff. The main reason I did enjoy my stay, was due to the front desk associate, Monti (I hope I spelt that correctly, he was soft spoken and the window made it difficult to hear). He upgraded us without extra charge and gave such a kind and endearing greeting. Definitely not the greatest hotel, okayish for the price, but Monti's demeanor and kindness was excellent.

This motel is absolutely disgusting. From the cockroaches and bedbugs to the moldy showers and microwaves that haven't been cleaned EVER. I would actually rather sleep in a tent on the side of the road than stay here, you will literally leave with bedbugs and infest your own home or anywhere else you reside after being here. I actually can't believe this is a running motel, it should be shut down for health risk by now. You will fall ill staying in these rooms. Accessibility is also trash, no elevators, and the rooms start down a little flight of stairs (lobby is located between floors? First floor is downstairs, second floor is up some stairs??) So if you cant use/struggle with stairs dont bother coming. As far as I'm concerned dont bother coming at all, no matter who you are, unless you want to bring home a roach and bedbug infestation.

A friend of mine is staying here until we find him a place to live because his house burnt down and for anything longer than a night or two I would definitely recommend a different motel. It's old and needs to be updated, the rooms are clean but very "blah" not "homey" feeling. Their vending machines are ridiculously priced, my friends room doesn't have a working smoke detector in it (HIS HOUSE JUST BURNT DOWN REALLY???) nobody cleans your room until you check out, you can't understand the person at the front desk (English speaking employees is always helpful in the USA) , you can hear everything including the highway... You get my drift. On the plus side it's very reasonably priced, it's directly off the freeway easy on easy off, and their is shopping and food within walking distance which is convenient . But come on no smoke detector ???? His isn't broken it's just missing all together, crazy!

I should have listened to the other reviews and not stated at this hotel. They didn’t provide breakfast as stated on the website (and gave lame excuses why in person), the door lock stopped working so had to get new keys, cigarette hole in top bedsheet, water constantly running from bathtub, hot tub not working, no heat in the pool either and the gutter was growing enough trees to start its own forest.

Rooms are clean, bed sheets are clean, stuff is respectful. Vikki did a wonderful job. Thank you so much Vikki. It’s decent place for this price. Pretty much all reviews with 1 star are paid reviews from their competitors. This is how it works in this business. Thanks.

This place is the grossest. I honestly almost didn’t even check in just because the front desk experience was so strange in itself but I thought it’s 130 am and I just need a place to sleep for a few hours on trip. I opened the door to the room and then immediately walked down with my bags got a refund and left. The other hotel in sane parking lot is nice, clean, and comfy. They say ppl come there from super 8 at least daily . Guarantee there is bed bugs in the super 8!

The ladies were very nice and friendly. The hotel is at the back of the lot and had some questionable people lurking around. The hotel itself needs to be remodeled. The carpet was dirty and sticky. Our room The wall had red stuff splattered on it and the bathroom floor was sticky as well as the carpet. The website states pool and hot tub but we get there and it's closed. My daughter was so scared she actually thought someone would climb up to the 3rd floor and enter the room through the window that didn't lock. She went around the room doing a safety check and locked the deadbolt and chained the door. There was barely any access to the electrical outlets and the one you could access sparked and was wore out you couldn't plug anything into it. In the morning someone was sleeping in the stairwell, you could hear the guy snoring. The complimentary breakfast was only waffles and 2 kinds of cereal, 2 kinds of juice and coffee. Other places i have stayed at offered scrambled eggs and sausge at least. A note was left to not leave a mess you must clean up after yourself. The plastic utensils was so cheap you couldn't use the fork to cut through the waffle because it bent and the knife would bend trying to cut it. I will never stay at a Super 8 again.

This place was friendly enough, but room was not clean, the smoke detector was not up on the ceiling...I put it back up myself. TV was not able to be utilized as the remote had only 1 of a needed 2 batteries. Tub Shower was dirty chairs were quite filthy full of construction dust and painters tape etc.. room was definitely not ready to be rented out. And I made a reservation so not sure why I was given an unfinished room.

Terrible hotel. Pool was closed. First room had ripped carpet and extensive wall patching. Second room had punched bathroom door and smelled odd. Outside trashes overflowing. Breakfast? Not! No coffee, instant oatmeal with no hot water, stale cold cereal. Do not stay here.

When I walked in the first thing I noticed was the broken plexiglass separating myself from the host like there had been some kind of incident previously. The lady at the front desk was amazing when I checked in around 10pm. She helped me get the cleanest room possible for me and my two year old. However, the hotel itself was awful. It had a horrible smell to it. Like smoke and wet carpet where bacteria was allowed to breed within the damp carpet fibers. The electricity didn't work to the main lights, everything was worn out and looked disgusting, the carpet was dirty and had white stuff smeared all over it. If it wouldn't have been so late I would have left. There were homeless people in the halls and breakfast room wearing basically nothing (just covering the nipples with fabric). I didn't realize when I booked this that they house the homeless and that it wasn't a normal cheap hotel any longer. I feel like I paid almost $80 to stay at the homeless camp for a night. Quite the experience but not what I was expecting at all.

Don't book a hotel room at this garbage dump. This service is absolutely terrible. We booked rooms and they were already paid for and the clerk at the front desk told us it was first come first serve and sold our rooms away from underneath us. He didn't offer any remediation or advice and was hostile and rude. When I asked who's policy it was he said it was super 8's policy which is a load of crock.

This place is disgusting in every way. To give it 2 stars is a lie. The front desk lady handed me towels saying the laundry isn't working. The room stunk. The bedding in our non-smoking room had cigarette burns. The cover was covered with dried biological specimens that grossed us out. The smell made a grandson sick and he had to vomit twice. The lamp on one side of the bed would come on if you bounced hard enough on the other side of the bed. I'm done with anything with the Wyndham name on it. Go a head and pay the extra 30 bucks and get a real 2 star hotel. My family members were grossed out and scared of the environment, inside and out. We had already paid and it was a half hour after the refund time but we left anyway just to get away with our lives, health and property in tact.

This place was way below what we were expecting. We had two separate stays since we traveled elsewhere in the middle of our stay. When we arrived nobody was at the front office. Waited for 20 minutes before anyone showed up. First room seemed fine at best. I checked the pillows and the pillowcase looked like it was rubbed with dirt. Absolutely disgusting. I went down and guy got me a new pillowcase. The bathroom was quite nasty as if nobody had ever cleaned it before. Second room had no lights in the bathroom so we had to rely on the heat lamp that turned off after about 10 minutes. Believe it or not this room also had a dirty pillowcase; I'm glad there were three pillows in this room we just didn't use the dirty one. I would look elsewhere if you want to rest. I was hoping to use the pool as well but for the entire week+ we were there, it stayed "out of order". Don't waste your time. This place was quite a dump and I am embarrassed for having stayed here :/

This place was clean, the staff was very friendly and the location was perfect with freeway access right out of the parking lot. Always a coin toss when staying in a hotel that allows pets and I must say that this place exceeded my expectations. Happy and definitely planning on staying at the Lacey Super 8 again.

  • 1/5 Shyanne C. 1 year ago on Google
This place did not exceed my expectations at all. The smell as you're walking down the hallway is like a dirty casino that you're allowed to smoke in. You walk in the room and the carpet is crunchy sticky and room also smells. The walls in the room were dirty. The mirror hasn't been wiped down, it was full of someone else's spit and toothpaste. The toilet had been clogged by previous people. The tables and drawers full of dust. Our bed was made but no pillow cases. The air conditioner was broken but we fixed it just to use it to get airflow. But that caused all of us to have allergy attack swollen eyes stuff nose because how dirty it was. Definitely 10/10 do not stay here. If we would have been staying for more than one night there's no way I'd be here. YUCK!!

We should have known what was going to happen when my husband called and someone speaking Spanish answered and then hung up. It took 10 minutes to check in while the front desk person was on a personal call. After that we finally got in our room and the stench of cigarette smoke was so strong we walked out and left to the cackle of two women sitting outside that had told us Good luck when we walked in.

The owner, tries to clean the rooms himself and is overwhelmed with all the work doing everything himself. Looked at three rooms and they all had garbage under the beds dirty floors and dirty on the sheets in the room I was given and my friend. She said no way is she staying in this room as she use to clean room when she was younger. The rooms had old sheets and unclean microwaves and refrigerators. Clearly the owner is overwhelmed running a hotel.

Where do I even start. This motel is absolutely discusting. I stayed in room 111. First off there are BED BUGS which should get this place shut down! Floors feel so discusting to walk on. Shower handle had water spraying all over. Sheets were stained. AC was very loud and the tv connection was bad, every channel had static. Noone speaks english. Asked someone for a small trashcan because there wasnt one in the room and he brought me small towels, and didnt understand what I wanted. Breakfast room opened at 6am with nothing availiable but dry cereal. Called front desk at 630am to see when the food was coming and the guy brought down a completely frozen gallon of milk. What the heck. I advise to spend the extra $30 a night and stay at one of the other hotels in the area. This one has the worst reviews in town, just wish I had looked this up before I booked. BEWARE!

My husband, 11 month old, and 1 stayed here for WAY too long but didn't have many options. We had switched rooms 3 times due to mold, something was broken in every single room. Was absolutely horrible we got out as soon as we could because the mold began to affect our physical health. The staff were more than amazing and so kind/ helpful did as much as they could. The maintenance was constantly on the phone with what sounded to be the owner trying to fix the issues however there is only so much the staff can do in their power the owner needs to take more accountability to ensure the health of the guests. We've not yet been refunded for the days we paid for but didn't stay because we were getting so sick, left over 4 days ago and our family has had fevers, body aches, throwing up and so much more daily with mold found in our system from just a short stay. Also pool was shut down, breakfast was horrible, rooms were just not up to basic standard, vending machines broken. Again staff were so kind amd amazing but that doesn't fix the fact my family is incredibly ill from the mold. And the fact we still bave not been refunded for the week we paid but COULDNT STAY due to health issue caused by this hotel.
