I want my burrito in a foil wrap, not in a forever, styrofoam box. Okay, shredded chicken is chicken but, why shredded? And the hot sauce? Almost bland--it was barely more tangy than ketchup. Nice people, but not going back. Not a viable competitor to California Taco Truck on Plum St, which is good.

I always go to Boka Island and just recently tried Taco-lote because of all the good reviews I seen about their fish tacos and I can say they are definitely worth it and up to the hype !!add it with some rice and beans & perfect lol will be coming back to try more dishes

This place is such a gem! I can’t believe it took me so long to try it. The shrimp tacos are to die for! I crave them every single day, no joke. The shrimp is cooked and seasoned to perfection, the veggies are always crisp and fresh, and the homemade sauce is amazing. To top it all off, the employees are always super nice. Overall a wonderful experience, would highly recommend.

We meant for a Mediterranean night dinner but opted for this cuisine instead. So glad we did and will return soon. The fish and shrimp tacos (two were recommended and sufficient enough) were great and the carne asada quesa too. The salsas for the tacos could have more heat, but I'm sure regional tastes prevail. I would have preferred fish not fried but not a show stopper. Obviously all other ingredients were fresh. Yum!

Great food truck option, especially if you are heading over to Beerwerks next door, which is BYOF friendly. I got tacos and a tamal. Recommend both but have to say the tamal was spot on, warm and moist with just enough spice. Perfectly pair with a lager or hefe, imho. I would have taken a pic but the food disappeared too fast. ☺️ Happy eating!

when I tell you i’m so sad i haven’t tried this taco truck until now — i have never been so serious! this taco truck is ran by the sweetest individuals and their tacos are THE BEST i have had in all of thurston county. They give the best portions (like a generous amount) for the best prices. If you want some tacos that taste fresh and leave you satisfied and excited for the next visit then look no further!

Best fish taco I’ve ever had hands down. I try them everywhere that’s got em and Taco-Lote easily takes the win. Fresh produce and delicious flaky, crispy fish take center stage. The cabbage slaw is always crunchy and it’s all wrapped in a fluffy flour tortilla. So good…One day, when I get the courage, I’ll try something else off the menu. But for now I’m stuck❤️

This was SO bad. My husband and intended to hit the taco truck across from the Eastside co op but they were closed on a Saturday (🤔) so we opted for this one. So bummed that we did. We typically order Carne Asada burritos from taco trucks so we gave it to go here despite having garnishes on top as pictured on the menu. When we got it, we opened the container and said, smells like a bad fast food burrito. Upon first bite, my husband and I, almost in unison, said, this is terrible! I’ve never eaten a burrito with such little flavor. I spit out most of the meat because it was pure gristle and fat. Just plain bad. I suppose we should have read the reviews first and opted for the fish tacos! 🤣 not likely to return to try them…🥴

Taco Lote is hands down the best taco truck in Tumwater, Lacey, and Olympia! My husband and I have had multiple different items on their menu and everything is great. The fish tacos are our fave!!

Got a carna asada burrito it's a big burrito, the problem is your paying for 1.5 lbs of rice, first 5 bites good amount of meat after that 3/4 of the burrito is rice. It's over 12 dollars. I can buy a lot of mexi rice for 12 bucks.

Just got a plate of carne asada tacos and they are hands down one of the best tacos I've gotten from trucks around Olympia. You can tell it's made with love and it makes it all the more better. I also got a side of their red sauce which has a smokey flavor and I haven't had anything like it but it made the tacos come together perfectly
