Came for a birthday dinner and was not disappointed! Ed and his staff were super welcoming and the food was amazing with views and atmosphere to complement Can't recommend enough if you are in the area.

Amazing authentic mezze and Middle Eastern food. Absolutely delicious and perfectly presented. Served by friendly staff in a relaxed setting. Magnificent views across the valley. Highly recommend stopping in here if in the Port Stephens region or making this your destination. 10 out of 10.

Sunset+ Vine offers excellent food and wine. The environment is stunning! We all enjoyed our time here and will definitely recommend it to any friends visiting Port Stephens. My daughter left her handmade bag (which is a gift) in the restaurant. The owner is super helpful by making a great effort to send it back to us in Sydney (also nicely refused to let us pay for it). Thanks Ed! You are amazing! Looking forward to visit again :)

Beautiful location, delicious food, and some great wine selections to drink and taste. We visited on a warm day, the forest sounds sitting out on the deck, having a tapas of prawns with a chilled glass of Verdelho was everything an Aussie NSW summer promises. Tied it all up neatly with a cheesecake for dessert!!!!!

Great little hide away behind the Murray's brewery.. most ppl stops up front and misses this winery that makes great food as well. Highly recommend a visit. We had some amazing desert and wine tasting with super friendly service.

Just popped in for lunch, what a find! Gorgeous view, matched with great food. It's hard to find food with "love", this place has exactly that. Lamb meatballs with a rich tomato and eggplant sauce that had obviously been reduced, great flavours. Also had the duck baklava, really interesting flavours and textures. Quick impromptu lunch, a real pleasure. Thanks to the kitchen staff and Eddy.

Food are absolutely Amazing! Even better complementing the food with their own Wonganella wine. Fast, friendly and very knowledgeable staff. Dessert are highly irresistible! If you are traveling to Port Stephen this is a great place to eat.

Great place, service was poor. Food didn’t come when ordered and tried to make us pay for it! The meat and cheese board was overly expensive for what you get $38 for 3 tiny slices of cheese and 3 slices of salami. I had a hair in my food when I spoke to the waiter I got “I can’t help what happened in the kitchen “ not even a sorry! I wouldn’t dine there again.

I had the pleasure of stumbling across this gem of a venue. Amazing views, service, wine selection and food. I would love to see some main options in addition to the tapas menu just for extra choices but could not fault this experience. Can't wait to come back.

Beautiful restaurant, lovely setting high up overlooking the vineyards, to the valley all the way to the water. Food was delicious, middle eastern style shared dishes, homemade by the owner Marina with love. Very attentive service, from the owners. Dishes were beautifully presented and they confirmed the ingredients are sourced on site or locally. Good selection of wine, including their own label and others. Would certainly return and recommend to others.

Absolutely amazing cuisine - a wonderful blend of flavours and aromas. Only wish I had a bigger belly to eat everything on the menu. Eddie and Marina are wonderful hosts! Could not recommend it more highly - we will be back again every time we visit Nelson Bay.

Today we were very fortunate to come to this restaurant for a meal. We stayed at the adjacent Airbnb homestay and learned through conversation that the owner of the homestay and the restaurant's boss are brothers. My girlfriend and I are both studying postgraduate courses in Sydney, and today we drove here to explore Port Stephens. The food in this restaurant is incredibly delicious, especially the dish called "duck" which I particularly enjoyed (I apologize for not remembering the exact name). The owner warmly introduced us to wine tasting, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. This trip has been exceptionally enjoyable, and I will recommend both the homestay and the restaurant to other friends. (By the way, the restaurant owner's wife is remarkably young, and she handles everything, especially admiring her culinary skills.)

Great service, views and food. We tried most of the tapas and the taste is quite authentic. Wine tasted great too. The service is very friendly at this family owned restaurant but it’s not so well marketed. Highly recommend a visit here!
