Tanjung Sepat Ocean Seafood Restaurant (海洋海鲜餐馆)

Restaurant

🫤 Tanjung Sepat is a nice place to visit it will more attractive if the food price is reasonable. Two small crab, 1 small vegetable plus 1 fried oyster with 2 white rice plus 1 pot Chinese tea cost about 132rm. The meal are fresh but too salty for me.. Tourist price at tourist place. People often mention crab, good, small, seafood, restaurant, mantis, prawn,

This shop is pretty easy to locate since it is along the main road. I didnt have too much of expectation since it looked pretty commercialized. The hokkien mee was cooked with fish meat of your choice. The seafood tofu soup (RM20 per pot) was my fav as it was hearty! Curry stringray (RM28) and gong po mantis shrimp (RM28) were prettyy good too. The portion was abit more than average.

20231113-So we are back after 2 years... =) Food quality remains good. Don't mind coming back again. This time we are back with our 5 years old. All of us likes their food. Definitely will come back again. By far the best services restaurant we have tried in this area. Food is very delicious and tasteful, portion is generous, price is reasonable, just don't expect low price range in this restaurant. Most importantly, the uncle is very kind to remind and informed us their food portion is big, asked us not to order so much food. It was just the two of us.

Nice seafood especially the fish, squid and oyster. The hokkien mee is only RM7 for small.

Worst dinner experience ever! Arrived at the restaurant for more than 20 mins and nobody came to take our order. And then the boss had the audacity to ask us to go online and check the menu ourselves. Please go somewhere else if you expect good hospitality and food!

The food here is actually quite good . But the funny thing is you need to google it yourself for the menu and indeed like everyone said here , the boss will walked away or gives you irritates face if you request for a menu 🤣 Is it so hard to print a menu for your shop ? Isn’t the basic thing to have a menu if you wanna run a restaurant.

I think they definitely deserves more credit and recognition for their food. I went in without a lot of expectations but the food turned out just great. Crab bee hoon had really good crab flavors. The marmite chicken was unexpectedly tasty. Oyster and eggs went really well with the char kway teow! Good pomfret even though it was slightly overcooked.

So many seafood restaurants in this area. We notice this has the most customers & have a relatively good reviews. So we gave it a try. Not bad. Including 2 beers & 4 cans of drinks. Myr 392. Very reasonable & recommended.

1 of the famous seafood restaurant in Tanjung Sepat as per recommended by the Keropok Seller. The food is delicious and the price is reasonable. Plenty of tables but with limited parking space. The Fried Mihun with Crab is nice.

Food was above average but the mantis prawn with salty egg was a bit small.

Please call to check if dog-friendly! Was able to bring in my dog as it was early there was not many customers. The restaurant has a cat so please keep in mind don’t bring a reactive dog. Tie-pan 铁板 oyster very nice! Had a creamy texture and was very fresh. Salted egg yolk mantis prawn was light - able to taste the freshness of mantis prawn. Ying Yong was a bit sub par compared to others - had to add in soy sauce and garlic then it tasted good.

It was alright, only ordered 2 dishes to try - crab beehoon and salted egg sotong. We got the L size crab so the crab meehoon came to a total of RM 110, which was okay but only 1 crab was very fresh, another one was softer and texture was abit off. Sotong was delicious. Perhaps try other crab dishes (also rmb to ask if crab is live or dead) and skip the meehoon. Plenty of parking opposite the restaurant.

sweet sour fish ( red snapper), fried sotong, stir fry yau mak, omelette, tofu claypot soup and cereal prawn, all RM195. Price ok la but taste so so only. Service not good

Sizzling Iron plate seafood (grouper fillet, fried mantis prawn and squid) was just so so (fried mantis prawn didn't go well with the sauce). Fish fillet a bit tough. Fried sweet potatoe leaves was not up to expectation as superior soup was not used or not good enught for frying vege. Small portion of sizzling seafood priced at RM34 and the vege was RM14 for small portion.

Free & spacious parking lot (opposite the road), friendly staff & airy environment. Food are fresh and reasonably priced compare to other restaurants near Lover's Bridge. Recommended to eat here when in Tg Sepat.

Poor and rude service. Order fish, vegetable, taufu.. taste average. Price still okay, ample parking but we'll definitely skip this. There are many other good seafood restaurants in this small town.
