This is the most worth visiting place in Egypt. That awe you get when you see the pyramids up close... camel rides, horse rides also recommended to try! Careful again with the prices. Everything can be negotiated!

How amazing is it to see the great pyramids, once in your life! You can go inside - for an extra fee - or sit on top of it, which was a nice surprise! There are also camels you can ride - which I suggest to do in the dessert facing the pyramids, so you can see them all!

One of the world 7 wonders. A must to visit. Amazing civilization. Better plan your visit in advance, so as to enjoy properly. You can do your own tour, our with a guide. Make sure you choose a reliable tour agency. Be careful with food, specially meat. Read about it ( history) before you visit, make sure you have the proper gear, clothes, shoes, sunglasses, hats , camera accessories. Practically you need a whole day. Still worth it. Enjoy.

What can you say about visiting the Pyramids? It’s an absolute that should be on your list of places to visit in your lifetime! First, it is obviously a very busy place most of the time, so do yourself a huge favor and get there when the gates open to beat the crowds that pour out of the tons of buses that start to arrive at opening or a little later. Also, when you arrive, go directly to the Great Pyramid to look inside. It is a tough walk up to the sarcophagus room along narrow walkways, stairs, and a short tunnel. It is hot inside and it’s a strenuous walk, but worth it. We saw almost nobody in the Great Pyramid at a little after 8 AM, so it was great for us. It would be really terrible having to fight a crowd to see it! Be sure to see everything here, including walking around the other pyramids, taking a look at the Sphinx, and going over to the panoramic view area to get some photos. There are lots of vendors here, and some can be a little pesky. Also, there are tons of camel rides available either at the pyramids or at the panoramic view point area. Plan on at least half a day to spend here, but spend the entire day if you can. Take plenty of water, and wear some sunscreen and a hat.

We went to the Giza plateau and went to the 9 pyramid restaurant which is right in front of the pyramid from the desert side. The view and the food were amazing. We had a great time seeing the pyramid. There is also a place to sit in Bedouin like sitting on the floor right in front of the pyramids. The kids enjoyed it so much

It is one of the best places to visit when you come to Egypt. The pyramids are one of the seven wonders of the world, there you can do a lot of things such as horse or camel rides, take souvenir photos and buy some gifts for your friends. You can also enter inside the pyramid and visit the king's tomb, which contains the king's sarcophagus and his golden collectibles

What more is there to say about the most iconic piece of human history? Nothing else than pure awe. Whether it's the structural design, the ingenuity of the location, the overall atmosphere. Just perfect in every single way. The place to visit when in Egypt without a doubt. Tickets can be bought by credit card without any trouble.

They really are breathtaking and a sight that you have to see up close to understand. It was super hot (end of July) go as early as possible or later in the day before the sun sets bring lots of water. We traveled with our mom(elderly) and our son (3 years-old) it definitely something for any age to enjoy.

Giza pyramid complex is huge and impressive and vast. Going during peak season is quite crowded. There is also a camel riding service here that is very interesting but equally dramatic.

If you are one of the people who loves very ancient archaeological places, especially the ancient Egyptian civilization, this is the place where you will be stunned by the abundance of astonishment from the high architecture and the huge sizes such as the Sphinx and how the pyramids were built and these large stones were also transported. I hope that the area surrounding the pyramids will be developed and trees will be planted or a place to sit and enjoy these views

It’s one of the wonders of the world that must be seen once in a lifetime, but unfortunately one time is more than enough. There are a lot of locals harassing you to buy souvenirs, to ride the camels, to take pictures of you، and you can’t enjoy the place properly, to take pictures in peace and to admire these wonderful constructions. But if you are willing to ignore them though, enjoy the views and the trip 🐪

A wonderful place, breathtaking and full of history. It is preferable to visit at these times because the temperatures rise and it's so hot in summer and it is also preferable to wear light clothes and do not forget the water. LOTS AND LOTS OF WATER !!! But overall it was a marvelous experience.

The complex is worth the visit within the entire Cairo. The view of the pyramid is magnificent and intrigue your logical mind. Advisable to go on your own and explore the place on your own. A guide can interfere if you want to spend more time around the necropolis.

Such an amazing historical site to visit. Its beauty is unexplainable through words. The time spent there was intense and the energy coming from the Great Pyramids as well as the Sphinx is some of the most potent on the planet. Makes for amazing meditation and phenomenal pictures! Would recommend to ANYONE on the planet. Those who have never been and also those who have visited already!

It's a great place to visit for sure, but it's better to go with a tour guide that you already know. People there are gonna take advantage of foreigners and you will end up paying a lot more than you previously intended. The pictures are worth it though. Make sure to bargain and set your price before going on the camel or the horse ride.

The sides of the Great Pyramid, which has a height of 138.8, the Pyramid of Khufu - looks very straight, and aligns perfectly with the celestial directions, north, south, and east. For many centuries, the pyramids of Giza have astonished researchers, not only the mysterious voids and hidden chambers, but the way the ancient Egyptians built these magnificent architectural formations without modern technology. One of the most puzzling issues is the way the pyramids were built so that they perfectly align with each other. Despite its slight inclination, the sides of the Great Pyramid of 138.8 meters (455 feet) - also known as the Pyramid of Khufu - appear very straight, aligning perfectly with the celestial directions, north, south, east, and west.

The pyramids are absolutely stunning. There is NOTHING even comparable. It was one of the most interesting and stunning visit in my life! DONT say ANYTHING to any of the sales people by the pyramids, they will follow you all day if you answer them (no matter if you’re tourist or local). Just ignore them and go your way!

The pyramids are beautiful, but they are flawed by the large number of beggars, the lack of organization and exploitation by the organizers, the abundance of dirt, and the smells of waste spread everywhere. I do not recommend visiting them without wearing a mask and taking care of the abundance of sauce

This is why we traveled to Egypt from America. Seeing the pyramids in person was breathtaking. We arrived early and did the additional inside pyramid tour. Don't recommend going inside if you're really claustrophobic, but it is an incredible experience. It's really neat to think how these were built and when you look at how precise the blocks were placed you will definitely have questions! There's a lot of people trying to sell you stuff around the pyramid complex and ask you for money so that gets annoying, but if you go with a group you will be a little better. Tip for foreign travelers: If you have a professional camera make sure to leave it with your tour guide or a group member that you trust before you go inside the pyramid. There was a guy sitting outside the entrance that demanded everyone leave their expensive professional cameras with him as he wouldn't allow them inside. There was a massive pile of expensive cameras just sitting out in the open right before the entrance. Who was this guy? I have no clue. If you didn't have your ticket when you got back then he would keep your camera. He also demanded money to retrieve your camera when you got back out. Big scam!

Not much to add. Everyone knows this place. Is World renown. Its fantastic, impressive, beautiful and awe-inspiring. If you have the chance, go around the complex, walk the dunes of sand and check all the point of views. It's really a top place to visit in the world. It's not by chance it's one of the world wonders. I had a fantastic time here, went really early to beat the crowds.

Great trip to the pyramids. It’s better to put shorts and comfy shoes to visit pyramids as it’s quite hot and humid at this place. Also better to get a horse ride as the place is humongous. I enjoyed my trip to pyramids and walk in the caves style to top of one of the biggest pyramid.

BEAUTIFUL!!! Magical!!! Totally worth visiting!!! Beautiful, historical monument!!! It might be once in a life time opportunity so take it!!! If you’re interested in history- take a guide; if you want to walk around, take photos and just be present- guide not necessary!!! Definitely book visit to panoramic view of pyramids- by camels or horse carriages (there’s no option to walk) beautiful view!!! (-) a lot of hustlers!!! Be careful not to get scammed. Don’t say YES to anyone and anything!!! “I’ll take a photo for you?! NO” “I’ll help you to pass?! NO”

I visited Egypt in the summer of 1992. The trip to the Pyramids and the Sphinx in Giza was one of the highlights of our stay in Cairo. I imagine things probably have changed a lot in the country. Given another chance, I definitely want to visit again and these giants would definitely be in my itinerary.

Must see while in Cairo, definitely get a tour guide as you will learn a fascinating facts about the Pyramids and how they become. You are allowed to clime to a certain level of the Pyramid where there is access to the interior (separate ticket). Take the camel ride, they take you to an angel where 6 Pyramids can be viewed and another were 9.

This place is hotter than fire 🔥 🔥 🔥 You should wear short sleeves, free short dress or free trousers to this place because it's smoking hot all day long but it was a good visit 😀 anyway. The pyramid, the tomb of pharaoh and other stuffs to be seen. You have to be careful of the crowd as well, everyone wants money. Its safer to go as a group or go with tourist group.

It is a nice place to visit and scratch it off your bucket list, but I was wondering if the Egyptian government could do better work in keeping the place clean, traffic jams, and very, very boring sellers who would cheat and lie to you to get an extra buck. I'm just glad I put this off my bucket list.

The Pyramids of Giza, an iconic wonder of the ancient world, continue to awe and inspire visitors from around the globe. As I stood in front of these monumental structures, I couldn't help but marvel at their sheer size and the incredible craftsmanship that went into their construction. The pyramids, including the Great Pyramid of Khufu, stand as a testament to the ingenuity and architectural prowess of the ancient Egyptians. Visiting the Pyramids of Giza is an experience like no other. The site offers various ticket options, and as of June 2023, the entry fee is 360 Egyptian pounds (LE). This grants you access to explore the pyramids' surroundings, walk in the footsteps of pharaohs, and immerse yourself in the rich history that envelopes this ancient necropolis. Additionally, for those seeking a unique adventure, a one-hour tour on a camel or a horse can be arranged for approximately 500 LE, allowing you to traverse the desert landscape and witness the pyramids from a different perspective. While the pyramids themselves are undeniably the highlight of any visit, the surrounding area also offers additional attractions. The Sphinx, a majestic monument with the body of a lion and the face of a pharaoh, stands nearby, adding an air of mystery and grandeur to the landscape. Furthermore, the Giza Plateau hosts several archaeological sites and museums that provide further insights into ancient Egyptian civilization. A trip to the Pyramids of Giza is an unforgettable journey back in time. Standing in the shadow of these magnificent structures, one can't help but be awestruck by their majesty and historical significance. Whether you choose to explore on foot or embark on a camel or horse tour, the Pyramids of Giza promise an extraordinary experience that will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

The Giza Necropolis is a must visit if you are ever in Egypt. Tickets are very reasonably priced and easy to buy at location. Be careful there are several people who try to sell souvenirs for a very high price so don’t fall for their tricks. If you are visiting in the summer, I highly suggest bringing ur own vehicle as it makes it very easy to visit each of the pyramids as well as the sphinx. The winter on the other hand when the weather is colder makes it very easily walkable. There are 2 high quality restaurants on the premises (Lounge 9 and, Khufu). I highly recommend Khufu due to its high quality breakfast and stunning views. There are 2 panoramic view points allowing you to capture stunning pictures of the pyramids in a line. Be aware if you are bringing a camera with a lens, you will not be permitted to take it into the actual pyramids as it is prohibited. However, photos from the outside are allowed. Also, don’t forget to visit the sphinx at no extra cost. You get free access to the temple and close pictures of the old structure.

The Giza pyramid complex is an archaeological site on the Giza plateau, on the outskirts of Cairo, Egypt. Title: The Three Great Pyramids (Khufu, subtitle), the Great Sphinx, several tombs, a workers' village and an industrial complex. It is located in the Western Desert, about 9 km (5 mi) west of the Nile River in the old town of Giza, and about 13 km (8 mi) southwest of Cairo's city centre , I really recommend u to visit this beautiful place 😊 .

One of the seven wonders of the world, the pyramids of Giza don't need any introduction. Few tips to keep in mind 1. No need to hire a camel as it's not needed. 2. Hire a guide to understand it's history & appreciate the beauty 3. I visited around 3 pm & it was moderately crowded, so can go at that time as well

Such a beautiful place with inspiring view, it’s very hot there and we were able to enter pyramids, but I didn’t go because guide said that it’s hard to breath there, and I regret it😕. We were there in 2015. And there are many local sellers, they try to sell you anything and only bother you from satisfaction of the view and taking photos. It’s one of the pretties place in the world and you should visit it once at least. I have always dreamt to visit pyramids because from my childhood I like Egypt and everything connected with it. I hope that I will visit it again in future and enter the pyramid. Thank you for reading my review😊 P. S. Look at the photos down there👇🤗👇

The most amazing recognizable wonder if the world! Came from USA 7000 miles away from the pyramids and absolutely Worth it! They are HUGE! Ticket entry is very affordable $12 USD. There were a lot of kids there. We went inside the the pyramids but didn't ride a camel or horse. The camel owners are very aggressive but the employees that work at pyramids are very nice. Bring water we walked over 8 miles all around the as sphinx and pyramids. Pro tip opens at 830am. Get there early!

Amazing! It is hard to grasp the overwhelming enormity of the pyramids of Giza. Plus the Sphinx too. Lots of walking so wear good hiking footwear, have a backpack with snacks and water. If you choose to enter the pyramid (extra charge) be aware that it is physically demanding and very hot. Not all that much to see, but, how cool is it to say you were inside an Egyptian pyramid. You buy tickets on site and it is easiest if you have Egyptian currency.

Pyramids is one of the seven wonders of the world, and is one of the greatest puzzles in the world in terms of the way it is built, and beauty, and the splendor of things within them. As it is built in a distinctive engineering manner, and at a time did not have the mechanisms and modern equipment as now which is considered a miracle. And has gained great fame among millions of people throughout the ages, so it has been classified as the most beautiful tourist areas in Egypt,

I was awestruck by these pyramids. They were mesmerizing and one should hire a tour guide/know the history of these pyramids before visiting this place to make this trip meaningful. There were so many people selling souveniers and will tell you that they will click pictures of you in front of pyramids. Be careful with them..Apart from that, it is very hot in here. So be prepared for that

Wonderful place! It's really big, so camel or horse can be provided. Why I put 3 of 5? Because of people there. Do NOT believe everyone because after they just take photo -> they always asking for tips. And if u give them, they ask more. They are saying that it's business, because they provide a good service. NO! It's manipulation with a good service. I understand that there were no tourists long time, but why people become so selfish because of it? Advice to take a ticket and not to take attention on everyone. If they ask u a ticket, show and go out.

Great place filled with ancient buildings from thousands years back, a very mesmerising scene, that puts awe in people's mind, just how astonishing and humongous how these structures were built or put together. A place you need to have a glance at before you miss the opportunity, definitely recommend visiting

The world famous pyramids are frequented by most travellers. However my experience had been that Egypt has many more things to offer and even better than the these pyramids in Giza. These can be on low priority for a person on time constraints.

We went without a guide and paid 240 egp (£8.50) to see just the outside of the pyramids. It was amazing, we walked around for several hours. No camel or horse rides 🙄 just a nice bit of banter along the way with people there. A thoroughly awe inspiring and peaceful walk around once we escaped the crowds. I think we enjoyed the experience much more having gone without a guide.

A breath taking place to definitely visit during your lifetime. Absolutely amazing! I recommend using a local guide - it is important to get through the necropolis history, but also to have someone to show you all the important places to visit, like the best panoramic, walk you through the best bazaars and even assist you while shopping for souvenirs, as everything is negotiable and the prices can differ very much from one artisan to another.

Standing before these colossal structures is awe-inspiring – the sheer scale is mind-boggling. The Great Sphinx guarding the plateau adds to the allure. I think there is no need to specifically mention that you should visit Pyramids on your trip to Egypt. If this is your first time going there, you will be in awe of the magnificent structures as soon as you reach by the flight. It's a short ride from the main city and is always good to stay in the city as it's cheaper and you can explore old city, museums as well as pyramids from the city. Once you reach the ticket office you will see a huge crowd waiting in line. You can also find some people selling tickets. Make sure you find the authorized one's who carry a id card. They can help you get the tickets and can also act as guides. You won't need a guide to explore Pyramids though. You can easily spend 4-6 hrs depending in how enthusiastic you are for exploring the history.

Visiting the pyramids was an amazing experience. They well quite well preserved and the location was kept clean enough. If you choose to visit it, a camel ride through the desert shouldbe a must-do for you. It really adds to the experience, bringing you back thousands of years ago, to have a glimpse on the lives of the amazing people that actually built those pyramids. It is unbelievable how such monumental structures were built such a long time ago. Truly amazing.

Giza Necropolis part of the archaeological site on the Giza plateaou, near Cairo, Egypt, including the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated pyramid complexes and the Great Sphinx of Giza. Giza Necropolis (also called the Giza pyramid complex) is on the Giza Plateau near the city of Cairo, Egypt. It is about 8 kilometres (5 mi) inland into the desert from the ancient town of Giza on the Nile, and about 25 kilometres (12.5 mi) southwest of Cairo city centre. The Great Pyramid is the only remaining monument of the Seven Wonders of the World. The Pyramd of Giza took around 20,000 workers to build it and 20 years till it was finished

King's Buria

(Translated by Google) It took nearly twenty years to build the Great Pyramid and build the corridors and lower parts of the pyramid ten years, according to Herodotus, the Greek historian who visited Egypt in the fourth century BC after more than 2000 years of building the pyramid and heard these accounts and other priests and narrators. The stones that were used to build the Great Pyramid were cut from the area surrounding the pyramid, the outer covering stones from the Jebel Tora area, and the granite stones used in the interior rooms from Aswan quarries and they were brought in by the Nile River, which was reaching the pyramid area at that time. The stones were cut and separated from each other by making holes at close distances in the piece of stone to be cut, then some wooden pegs were hammered in it and the roads were placed on them with water placed on them, and the more you drink the wood with water, the more the volume inside the piece of stone and with the continuation of the roads on it separated from each other then is Refine and polish it using a stronger stone type like granite or diorite. The ancient Egyptians used a sandy road to build the pyramids, where the pieces of stones are placed on wooden skis underneath, the trunks of round palm trees work like wheels, and the skis are pulled with ropes and oxen with water sprayed on the sand to facilitate the process of drawing, and the higher the height, the more they increase in the sand to the top of the pyramid, then the pyramid is clad with smooth limestone. From top to bottom and gradually remove the sand (Original)

Empty from the inside and tickets are expensive. I additionally would recommend to take headphones if you are white and not interested in a camel ride or horse riding. It is actually a nice walk around the pyramids and totally doable in winter regarding temparature and distance, but the tourist mafia will constantly bother you. Too sad as it is indeed destroying the experience.

Napolyon, 1798'de Mısır'a girdiğinde piramitlerin önünde askerlerine; "Askerler, piramitlerin tepesinden 40 yüzyıl bize bakıyor" demişti.Dünyanın 7 harikasından birisidir mutlaka görülmesi gerekir.

It's magnificent place to visit, but every visitor, must be aware of people who offers them for a carriage, camels, horses or just to be his guide. The normal price for getting a camel is 100 Egyptian pound (EGP) an hour per person. The local people (some of them) aggressively offering their services.Make sure you negotiate the by confirms the price even twice. Don't trust the people, because in order to get your money they gonna laying you.The price for entry in Pyramids is 200 EGP per person as you will get a ticket for it,then you can walk around and enjoy the viewing, without get any other services(it up to you to do so)

It showcases the ingenuity of the Egyptians during the time period it was constructed. The entrance halls and burial chambers are small for walking upright. Without the treasures that it contained at the height of the period it isn't all that special.

3 years ago on Google

Amazing how they built the Pyramids and it's getting prettier when you be there in person to see how beautiful they look. Watch out from some scam people, you need to be carefully or go with some group.

  • 5/5 Jenny Y. 2 years ago on Google
The place is amazing to spend the day at, wish others would see that and respect the laws of no climbing, peddlers take a telling and arent so pushy prices slightly more than outside, entrance fees are reasonable to get in the complex extra to be paid for getting inside pyramids over all recommend taking in a little history and visiting

  • 5/5 Alina T. 2 years ago on Google
Well, it's a world wonder and I found the piramids to have the highest impact on me. They make you feel small and big at the same time, which very few places or things in this world have the power to.

  • 5/5 NABIL A. 2 years ago on Google
Although the Great Pyramid of Giza was not officially selected as one of the seven wonders of the world, it was assigned an honorary title because of its undeniable importance. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the biggest and the oldest one among the three pyramids forming the Giza Pyramid Complex. Egyptologists believe that this pyramid was built over a period of 10 to 20 years and completed by around 2560 BC. For over 3,800 years, the Great Pyramid of Giza stood tall as the world’s tallest structure until this position was replaced by the skyscrapers of the modern world. The Pyramid has baffled engineers and architects across the world as to how it was constructed in times when modern infrastructural facilities did not exist. The pyramid houses the tomb of Khufu, the Fourth Dynasty Egyptian pharaoh.

It was an amazing experience. I didn't take any Camel or horse, I just walked around and thought: my goodness, how did they build this gigantic structure. It was a true wow moment of my life!!

  • 5/5 Jim P. 2 years ago on Google
Possibly the most iconic spot in the world, more recognizable historic icons here in one place than probably anywhere in the world.pyramids, sphinx, builders....just an amazing spectacle. Evenin December, lots of water, hat, sunblock and sunglasses a must. Do not engage the hawkers. A loud firm no, no eye contact, touch nothing, accept nothing and just keep walking. You'll be fine. Stay with a group if you can.

  • 5/5 Courtland D. 2 years ago on Google
Very impressive ancient Wonders. Camel and horse carraige vendors everywhere. I did not feel the need to go into the pyramids because walking around them was plenty fun! The pyramids are just the start of fascinating ancient world that is Egypt!

  • 4/5 H J. 1 year ago on Google
Seeing the pyramids of Giza and the sphinx is an incredible experience. You can actually go inside the pyramid...It's a bit a tight squeeze walking in, but worth taking a look and there is a guide in there who explains what the writing on the wall means etc. Just be careful you don't end up paying more than you need to for having your photograph taken whilst you're visiting!!

  • 5/5 Vimal S. 1 year ago on Google
Go early as it gets very hot Ensure you have a local guide as they will sort everything out for you as well as explain the history behind the pyramids In one of the pyramids they allow you to go inside, gets very tight and cramped for space but a must do The sound and light show at night is awesome. It's a different view compared to the day.

1 year ago on Google
Impressive. Please if you visit this place can you bring some food for the poor hungry dogs with puppies? They look like skeletons in the concentration camp. And please don't exploit the poor camels and horses for the panorama view of the pyramids. All animals there need empathy and help.

  • 4/5 Konstantinos V. 11 months ago on Google
An insanely beautiful and unique venue, that is not maintained and managed as it should be. Access for people with disabilities or other mobility difficulties is extremely limited. In the venue one can find cars, tourist buses, camels, horses and carriages that create a real havoc and destroy the magical feeling of the environment and archaeological venue. In any case, a MUST visit no matter what during your stay in Cairo. If you have time and stamina, do not prefer carriages, camels or any other form of transfer and walk through the venue.

Such an interesting experience to see one of the Old World's Wonders and step where the Pharaohs' were buried more than 4 milenia ago... And the architectural wonder of those times. Especially if you see this place close to sunset, it is a wonder!

  • 5/5 Radmila M. 7 months ago on Google
Absolutely mesmerising! If you love, if you respect history, if you love architecture - then it's a must to visit Giza I am still stunned ❤️🍀 Bring water, wear sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, wear flax linen clothes.

This is why we traveled to Egypt from America. Seeing the pyramids in person was breathtaking. We arrived early and did the additional inside pyramid tour. Don’t recommend going inside if you’re really claustrophobic, but it is an incredible experience. Big scam!

Amazing sight to visit. We came with a guide. In hindsight you don't need one as it's best to explore at your own pace. The hassling was mostly easy to ignore.

I recently visited this remarkable place and had an unforgettable experience. Here's a quick rundown of my trip: 1. The destination is truly captivating, offering a unique blend of natural beauty and historical charm. 2. Opting for a horse ride made the exploration efficient, allowing me to soak in the sights in just about 3 hours. 3. I highly recommend choosing horseback riding over other options for a more enjoyable and authentic experience. 4. Save yourself some bucks by booking your horse ride from inside the venue. Rates outside can be significantly higher. 5.Beware of locals offering help, as they might take advantage by requesting payment for a simple gesture or photo. Stay alert and avoid unnecessary expenses. 6.Keep an eye out for potential scams, especially when dealing with individuals offering unsolicited assistance. 7.Plan accordingly and ensure you have the means to purchase tickets online or with a debit card, as cash is not accepted. 8.While the place is undoubtedly worth exploring, save yourself from exhaustion by hiring a horse. Walking might seem feasible, but the vastness of the area can quickly tire you out. In conclusion, my journey was enriched by these tips, making it a memorable visit. Enjoy the adventure, but stay vigilant to make the most of your time and resources.

Visiting the Giza Pyramids was an absolutely fantastic experience! These incredible constructions are filled with mystery and history, making the trip truly mind-blowing. However, it's worth noting that climbing into the pyramids can be a bit challenging, especially if you're on the larger side or have knee issues. Despite the physical challenges, there's a wealth of knowledge to absorb and explore around the pyramids. Arriving early is highly recommended to avoid the tourist buses and the thousands of visitors that flock to this iconic site. Being one of the only surviving wonders of the ancient world, the Giza Pyramids hold a special place in history. It's a must-see destination that not only captivates with its awe-inspiring architecture but also offers a glimpse into the mysteries of the past. So, plan your visit wisely, and you'll undoubtedly have an unforgettable experience exploring these ancient wonders.

It was amazing to be able to see the Sphinx in Giza. I always wanted to visit Egypt, and this was one of the places I wanted to see. It is a busy place. Lots of tourists and lots of souvenirs sellers. Great experience

  • 5/5 Dr Sanjay D. 3 months ago on Google New
Great place. Get a good guide with luck as everyone is there to rip u off. 540 Egy pounds to get in plus 220 to visit inside the smallest pyramid. Going inside only for the able-bodied. Only stone Chambers and passages. Not truly worth while but curiosity got the better of us. Sphinx was amazing and so also the Grand Pyramids.

  • 5/5 Mattia P. 3 months ago on Google New
What to say? Yes it's over turistic but it doesn't disappoint. For the love of God hire a local guide to keep you safe from the hordes of hawkers, camel riders, etc. If someone offers to take your picture, expect them to ask you for money.
