Crowded during bus arrival, you can easy get cheated when you go for booking and somewhat difficult since middlemen wants you to book their bus (happens in every bus terminals in Tanzania, tourists be careful) not so good environmental, small space for parking lots, poorly located and organized.

The terminal is well organized with offices for buses leaving to various African destination including Nairobi. Dar. Arusha. Lusaka and. The bus offices are well organized and the staff willing ready to give directions and assistance. I had challenges with my money which was in Kenya currency. The staff went out of their way to help me change the ksh to tsh to pay for the bus ticket. The Arusha Express Bus staff especially went out of their way even to help me book a place to sleep in.

From here you can connect to other big cities and towns in Tanzania. Most of big bus companies such Kilimanjaro, Abood, Shabiby etc they have their offices. This stand is located only few kilometres from city centre and from most of the government offices. Welcome to Mbeya City.

I never say wrongs things about compagny bus because I was always satisfied by them ! But it seems that Mbeya bus stand is a exception ! I explain myself : Don't trust anyone who say that you can have a bus to go to Lusaka, it's a liar there is no direct bus. Secondly, don't trust if you read on the office Book which display "go to Lusaka" it's also a liar and you will pay for a very expensive ticket compare with the bus. The bus is absolutely not a luxury bus counter to what say the officerman ! At last, don't trust anyone who prétend that there is a new price when you arrivé at nakonde it's also a liar and they keep your monay. The personal is not correct and very unpolish ! It's so sad to see that, i've never seen this kind of things before i don't even believe what you can do. So be very careful and take your time to discuss with local people before coming and don't hesitate to change your mind if you're not sure with a compagny ! I Hope things will change !!!
