When I first came to the restaurant, I was a little disappointed that it was vegan cause I really wanted to eat some heavy meaty tacos. But as soon as I put the tacos in my mouth, I changed my mind because it was so delicious and the very spicy chili sauce maximized the taste and I really enjoyed ! + The people there were super nice

Very good Mexican food, served in large dishes and the owners are so welcoming and nice. The price is fair not like many other places in paje. Will definitely come back soon

Small restaurant with take-away and few seatings. Would recommend trying this out whether you're vegan or not, I'm sure you'll enjoy this experience. Tasty food, generous portions and overall a great value!

2nd visit to Ulu dos tres and will be back for a 3rd before we head home! Ran by the nicest local people! Fresh and healthy Mexican food for a very reasonable price! Super filling. Also loved by my partner who usually wouldn’t be caught in a vegan restaurant which says a lot. A must visit in Paje! Will be a meal we dream about for sure. 10/10

Got the taco's (smoked vegan meat & sour cream), amazing portion size (including dips) and only 15k shilling! Can't recommend enough! Only downside is I needed my girlfriend to roll me out afterward as I couldn't move. Just make sure you make note of the opening hours as we tried to go for dinner the evening before only to find it closed.

I had some tacos (15000tsh)🌮 You can choose your favorite ingredients and sauce from 4 types, I chose smoked vegan meat(gluten) and the most popular ranchero sauce. All the sauces were very nice, but they were salty including the smoked vegan meat. If the saltiness is suppressed a little more, perfect!! Family owned, and both husband and wife are very kind😊 If you get tired of grilled foods or swahili foods, change your mind with Mexican! Asante sana🙏🏽🌈

Amazing vegan Mexican Place in Paje - owned by a very friendly local couple. I wish I had tried this out sooner, I would have eaten here every other day. They have amazing vegan meat and sour cream, a super spicy hot sauce, the portions are good and the it tastes awesome while being healthy at the same time.

The food is great, really cheap price. We got burata and bowl with rice, veges and beans and it was delicious. The dishes are huge. Food is fresh, clean and the people there super nice and explain about the food.

Very tasty tacos. I took the 3 tacos with smoked vegan meat and 3 tacos vegan carne. Really delicious. You can choose your own fillings and salsas. Small cozy restaurant with some tables outside. Really worth trying. After enjoying the tacos I decided to try also the burrito bowl (see picture added, for the tacos they went to fast in my belly). If you are somewhere around Paje, worth visiting!!

Really tasty food and amazing customer service! We had a bowl and a burrito. Both were really good. They use fresh ingredients and spice them up really well. All ingredients are vegan! Super recommended!

We have been returning to Ulu and her husband's sweet restaurant - sometimes twice or three times a week since being here in Paje - and every meal has been delightful because you can taste the love in every dish - the yummy flavors, the generosity of portions and of course being able to enjoy a meal which is vegan and kind to all beings. Highly recommend.

Delicious Mexican style food, huge portions and a very local restaurant. Everything was made fresh and on the spot. It was all Vegan. The food was delicious and would definitely recommend to try off the main street and amongst the locals.

Perfect little restaurant located in the middle of the village. Authentic Mexican food served by a very sweet couple. Prices are very good with 3 tacos for 6USD. Can highly recommend!

First 🌟 ok so I've been here a dozen times or so, always consistent, it's some of the best affordable food in town. If you're backpacking eat here once a day, it will fill you up. Second ⭐ the food 🥑 is all super healthy vegan food, made fresh. On the spot. 😋 Third ⭐ the price is strong $15k and you can fill the belly and even take some home for later. Such great value... They don't serve alcohol or allow on the premises only Halal. Fourth ⭐ This place is small and cozy NO WIFI, you just have to talk to each other. Lol Come early, even order then come back, she's all alone so if there are more than 4 people expect the wait, but it's worth it. Fifth ⭐ the owners are lovely people quiet and friendly. English is limited. The atmosphere is well... other than the simple colorful decor, only moments from the beach is an average they could use some Mexican music. They close when the sun goes down, 6pm but you can pre order. Thumbs 👍 from me. this place is still one of the best places in Paje hands down
