Nice atmosphere and fast service. They seemed to offer some different options than your typical Indian restaurant. The food was very good. They offer indoor or outdoor seating. There is a small playground and sand pit for children

Nice and comfortable place to enjoy your lunch or dinner. Although, there was a private party inside the restaurant, but that was fine with us. We ordered Fish tikka, Boneless Butter chicken, Romali Roti and Nan. Food was good both taste wise and portion wise. Roomali roti was not up to the mark, but everything else was good.

Spacious Indian restaurant with a big outdoor area Paneer curry 18,000 - really creamy and decent paneer portions. Could have a little more flavor and spice but all in all goes was good Naan butter 3,000 - was just okay nothing special Naan chilly garlic cheese 5,000- really good.. my favorite. Cheesy and garlicky and very hot Cinderella Mocktail 10,000 - soo good and refreshing Fruit punch 10,000 - think of it as fruity milkshake with a punch. Recommend (ps there’s usually a lot of mosquitoes)

Hathi Chai serves really good food, and the atmosphere is great. I regularly come here to meet friends and colleagues here for the chai and some bites. Their masala chai is definitely the best on the Masaki peninsula. All snacks and appetisers I've tried so far have also been delicious. Garden seating is my favourite. There are comfy couches where you can unwind and have great conversations. The other seating areas have bollywood music playing, which might get distracting (especially if you love those somewhat old-ish songs!). Overall, it's a great place that I keep coming back to.

Enjoyed our meal, staff is very welcoming, seating arrangement is awesome you can choose your preference either outdoor or indoor, staff will assure you are comfortable and they do suggest which meal to take if you are unsure due to the wide varieties on the menu, we had paneer, butter chicken jeera rice and Naan, and chicken boti with chips, all were great, quantity is also good,and despite being busy on that day the food did not take to arrive, for kids there is a small play area for them to keep themselves busy

The food and service of the staff were both great. But the manager (I suppose he’s Indian) was SO unwelcoming and ignored us. I don’t know if he’s having a bad day, or simply just rude to customers… such a shame, as I would have give the place five stars

Loved the ambiance. Outdoors is much better than the Indoors here. The Indian food is great. And the deserts are amazing!

One of the best Restaurants In Masaki. If your taste buds like Indian spices this is the best restaurant with great service. Love the hospitality of Mr Himanshu very jolly and fun loving guy.

Hathi Chai Restaurant & Bar is a great place for lunch and dinner. The atmosphere here is very pleasant, the staff and the manager are very friendly. Many types of menu are available here, if you order, the service is done very quickly. The quality of food is good and the price is quite normal. Both veg and non veg food are available here. There is provision of outside tables along with space for parking is also available. A variety of drinks are also available at the bar here. I personally like it very much so I will tell everyone to come at least once to appreciate the food and service here

One stop for all your mouth watering meals from Authentic Indian curries, barbecue and Naans to Continental pizza, pasta, lasagna and burgers They do also serve fusion Chinese food. Added they have a very big space to do events like wedding, receptions, corporate events and birthday parties with the kids play area as well. All in all, one of the best open garden restaurant in Oysterbay, Masaki

Pathetic experience! We ordered masala chai, waiter brings it and says it’s complimentary as we do not have milk in stock!!!! Later takes the main order but, has no clue what’s in stock! Comes up and says FISH not available, when I ordered calamari he said let me check and returns by saying not available! Totally no coordination between the kitchen staff and the waiters!!!! We ENDED UP WALKING OUT OF THIS PLACE! Truly Hopeless experience
