At this lovely locally owned coffee shop in Nugwi, you'll find a victorious post-party recovery drink. The 'Victorious Refresh' can help prevent hangovers. The secret ingredients protect the body from the toxic effects of alcohol by reducing inflammation and oxidative stress in the liver. My heart felt delighted to spend time in Victoria's little peace of heaven!

Juvina Coffee Shop is one of the best experiences you may have in Nungwi. Victoria is a wonderful person and an amazing chef. For the vegetarians there are many tasty options. Victoria speaks English very well, you’ll enjoy discussing with her!

Last week, I went to have lunch at a local place in Nungwi, Zanzibar, called Juvina. Juvina is owned by Victoria, a woman from the mainland. We had a great experience. The place is very unique and the food is delicious. However, the best thing is that Victoria cooks the food while speaking to you. Getting to know her story is a source of inspiration for hardworking people, especially women. Victoria is from mainland Tanzania and has been living in Zanzibar for some years now.

Juvina coffe shop is a small, cozy and local place to stop for a coffee, spicy tea and delicious and healthy food. Victoria makes you feel like at home, she is very friendly and welcome you from the first minute you go over. She knows how to use the spices in food and drinks, but also she is so nice and cheerful person. I had very good time with her having lunch and tea, I went several times because sharing time with Victoria has been one of the best moment during my stay in Nungwi. As a solo traveller, I felt I had a friend there. Also she respect your time alone if you wish. I hope to come back to meet this lovely place again.

One of our favourite spots in Zanzibar! Such a cute little restaurant. Victoria is very sweet and took amazing care of us, she even helped us getting our broken shoe fixed! It's by far the cheapest food we had on this island and it still is one of the best! Everything freshly prepared, definitely recommend the fresh mango juice.

Gorgeous little locally owned cafe close to the beach! The coffee is delicious, the best in Nungwi by far - we had a latte and a zanzibar spiced coffee. We also ate breakfast here. Frieg eggs and avocado on thick slabs on garlic toast. The food, coffee, and service are incomparable.

There is always a warm welcome from Victoria, the owner of this gem in Nungwi! The food is brilliant - I especially recommend the bruschetta and the ice teas are perfect for a hot day. Victoria has decorated the cafe beautifully and she even offers the option for take away. Do not miss if you are in Nungwi!

The best place in nungwi!!! Visted this shop twice while here and the Victoria Bruchette was the best meal I had while here. It was so original and delicious. The chicken chapati wrap is also amazing, everything felt like a home cooked meal made with love. True Zanzibari food cooked by Victoria the owner. Shes also such a sweetheart and welcoming which really made our experience here amazing. Hopefully we get to return to Nungwi soon x

A must visit when you are in Nungwi. Delicious food for a very good price, cooked with love and served with a smile. This was our favorite place before and after the beach. Try the refreshing hibiscus and the chapati wraps. Warmly recommended!

Juvinas Coffee Shop was our absolute favorite restaurant in Nungwi. The food is cooked with love from “scratch” whilst talking to the customers and served with a smile. Victoria roastes the coffee herself, her iced Hibiscus tea is like a dream. I can warmly recommend this lovely small restaurant owned and run by a wonderful women who lost her previous job during Covid.

I visited Nungwi and I pass to Juvina Coffee shop. Good food, good drinks and the most friendly service. My recommendation because she built this by herself as a female local entrepreneur! The prices are more than affordable. I recommend you take a look if you are on Nungwi

Best place to go for a lunch. Food is superb and service is outstanding. It is not a 5 star hotel, as you would see from surrounding area, but the owner makes great local food and if you don’t see something on menu or don’t like local spices, you can ask in the morning and she will make whatever you want for lunch for you. Great size portions and very good value. We were staying for 4 nights in Nungwi and went there for lunch every day. Chicken hcapati wrap is a treat… also all salads are amazing. Wife went for bruschetta several times… and ice tea is super on a hot day. Very tidy and clean, efinitely recommend.

It was pouring rain while we were walking. Victoria offered us shelter from the rain, without expecting us to order anything. We did however have some delicious iced tea and great conversation! I would highly recommend that you stop at Juvina Coffee Shop if you’re in Nungwi and say Hi to Victoria!
