Loved my time here. Affordable, simple rooms with ac and a large balcony overlooking the park. The bar and restaurant would be worth visiting even if you aren't staying here.

Hotel is very old, without any maintenance since long, the only electric socket was not working, the shower too....no clean, very poor management even considering the price, 35.000 TZS

Really nice little motel in city centre. Rooms are spacious and clean. Around 35000/night with AC. The double bed was huge and comfortable! Big balcony with double sofa giving on the road and the ocean just after that. Hot shower! 😁 The food is tasty and affordable. But the best is probably the pizzas! Clearly they have the taste of real pizza by European standards.🍕🍕🍕 The owner speaks perfectly English.

Very good food and the standard selection of beers too. They also have a very reasonable accommodation there.

By far the best food in Tanga!!. Fish & Chips is stunning & consistently high quality - the kingfish comes in fresh in the morning. Rooms are also great. Highly recommended when in Tanga. Great customer service too.

Great hotel, but watch out for scammers who live there. In particular, watch out for "Aziz"... he may use a different name... a tall, skinny, bald African. He will act like he is out to help you, but is really just scamming you. For example, he told us he'd take us to the Tanga Bus Station, but instead had the driver drive us to the next town to extract a higher fee. This was one among many lies he told. Watch out.

Fantastic. The building is a old German one from colonial time. The place transport you in a Hemingway novel or a Corto Maltese comics. Some rooms have balcony and sea view. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The restaurant is wonderful, Indian curry menu. The bar is nice to have a beer and chat. I strongly recommend the place.
