Maua Cafe is a favorite in Mbeya. Great people, mostly outdoor seating but covered. Books inside too. The food is great and I would recommend a milkshake for dessert!

An ideal place for dinner and lunch. Dishes are generally variable and delicious. Staying here for a long time, service is good and staff are friendly. They care about hygiene. As someone who has been in about twenty different countries, I can say that I have tasted the most delicious soups here. I have the "BAA" card mentioned in the previous comment. (There really isn't a card like that, and that's another story.) People talking without eating(there was a small meeting) can be disturbing for a sociophobic person, not just here, anywhere in the world. What really stood out to me is how the prices are really affordable, especially for how truly delicious the food and drinks are. We ordered a wrap, and for 8,000tsh it came with delicious chips and an unexpectedly amazing side salad with a delicious dressing and a variety of vegetables! The cappuccinos are very yummy as well. Very kind and friendly owner too!
