I stayed at Nakupenda for 9nights and in my opinion the value for money is unbeatable! You get freshly prepared breakfast every morning, everyone is very nice! I was very happy! Maybe note that sometimes it‘s superloud from the parties around in the area.

Very nice hotel in walking distance of beautiful beach.

Very nice little hotel, run by a lovely family. They helped us organizing a trip to Stone Town and also to get some nice shirts from a local tailor. Very good location, close to the beach and many restaurants. They just updated their WIFI too, so the internet is very good as well. Outstanding value for money at this hotel!!

My stay at Nakupenda was short. I was planning to stay for two nights but didn’t feel enough confortable to stay for the planned duration. We left after one night for the cons I’ll mention. Pros: 1)The place is nice for the price. 2) It is located in the center of Paje, you can reach the beach the beach by walk in 10/15 minutes. 3) It has a swimming pool and a breakfast included. 4) Breakfast was good, I found the same in more expensive hotels 5) the manager who welcomed us was kind and helpful Cons : 1) there is no window… only mosquitos nets everywhere with holes. It is sooooo noisy. From night to morning we heard something, it was impossible to sleep properly. One drunk girl knocked at our bedroom’s door from the outside insisting to enter bc she thought it was her room. It killed my night. 2) The system to enter the place is so bad. You cannot enter with a key or a badge but you need to ring the bell or knock at the door until someone is coming no matter the hour. We came to the hotel around 00:30 and the security fall asleep on one of the bed next to swimming pool. Since there are parties everyday in Paje, other people came to the hotel very late and all this process was so noisy. It is also very sad to make this security guard open the gate all night. Would be better to give some autonomy to the customers. 3) the bathroom was not looking particularly clean

Amazing stay!!! We came late really stressed and Tommy gave us a very nice welcome and room. Delicious breakfast and cool pool and place :)

I would really recommend this place! The rooms are brand new and super clean. They also get a lot of fresh air from the ocean breeze. Super friendly owners and helpfull staff. Beach is really easy to get to from the guest house. We had a great holiday!

a place to call home in paje beach. located well between the main street and the beach. very clean and nice room and yummi breakfast. the family that run the hotel will take care of you like you are part of the family. i espcially enjoyed the beutiful pool and garden surrounding. and rissi the amazing cook and party lover that always put a smile on my face. i will come back for sure and if i could i would save this place as my secrate!
