Katavi
is
the
third
largest
national
park
in
Tanzania,
that
is
located
in
the
south-western
area
of
Tanzania.
I
stayed
two
days
in
Katavi
National
Park
in
January
2019.
The
landscape
of
the
park
is
very
fine;
consisting
of
grassy
plains,
bushy
savannah,
woodland
and
muddy
pools
where
animals
come
to
drink.
The
fauna
is
very
rich
in
Katavi
National
Park.
In
the
park,
during
day
safaris,
we
have
seen:
-
lions,
leopards
-
big
families
of
elephants,
-
huge
herds
of
buffaloes
-
beautiful
roan
and
sable
antelopes
-
spotted
hyenas,
black-backed
jackals
-
other
mammals,
e.g.:
zebras,
giraffes,
Cape
elands,
warthogsβ¦
-
hippos
grazing
on
the
pool
banks
-
a
lot
of
beautiful
birds.
Taken
together,
I
highly
recommend
to
visit

Park
