When we arrived the manager was away in stone town, we were offered kind of sub standard room which smelled of mold and no working AC. However we were offered a very nice balcony room by the pool for one night. The next day the manager Gina showed up and she was quite helpful. She said we could keep the balcony room by the pool for the duration of the stay! Which was a real relief. After one day I was actually craving their breakfast, the pancakes are very good! The balcony room next to the pool over looks the Kupaga Villas which is twice the price, and the view is spectacular— if you book here try to specify which room you want before you come, the two immediately adjacent to the pool are very nice. They also offer kite surfing lessons and tours around the island. Parking is a bit convoluted. Also google maps takes you the wrong way on arrival. However, the staff is great and you’re supporting a business owned and operated by locals for all the pitfalls that comes with, it’s a nice way to travel. Thanks for a good stay!

Sweet Beach is a paradise ! We stayed there one week (7 nights) in August 2022 and had a wonderful experience ! We had two rooms on front beach. One, really on the beach and the second just above the restaurant. Very simple rooms but very clean and confortable. We felt like we were in our family. The people are so nice ! The place is very quiet and peaceful. The luxury is the stunning view on the lagoon when you have your incredible breakfast with very fresh products coming from the neighborhood. For us it was prepared every morning by Abu, a very nice, helpful and funny guy ! A special thanks to him from the Jeanny's family ;-)) Of course I recommend this lovely place and hope to come back one day !!

We have spent six days in Sweet Apartment, and have great time. Really good location, great room in the front of the beach. Nice hoast Jeena give us many good informations and Ali was the best cook at the Zanzibar. Really recomend this place ❤️☀️

We spent one amazing week in Sweet Beach and now that we are back we really miss the beauty, the vibes and the warm people of this place. The beach view apartments are touching the ocean (when the tide is high) and the restaurant is like you're on a boat. If you want to avoid the crowd of the tourist industry then sweet beach is the place of your dream holidays.

These apartments are advertised as "beachfront". This is NOT true for all apartment. Our so called beachfront was on a different property in the third row from the beach. Definitely NOT beachfront as advertised. Downright dishonest!! The owner is well aware of this and arrogantly told us "this is all the same" and that we do not know how to use online booking platforms. He even told us that we are not the first tourists that complained about this. There are plenty of other accommodations to choose from in the area.

Sweet beach apartments have been our favourite part of our entire stay in Zanzibar. The rooms are comfortable, well-equipped, and in a beautiful location. All the staff are fantastic, being really friendly and helpful. We couldn’t have been more relaxed after our 6 nights here.

Very nice apartments, directly on the sea. Rooms as well as the facilities are very clean and well maintained. The location is quiet and shops for small things like water, fruits or snacks can be reached in less than 1 minute. Very nice, courteous and helpful staff that responds to the individual needs of the guests. The view at breakfast is stunning.

It's on beautiful location, direct sea view, clean& wide beach not that only but when I go to the staff they treat friendly and kind. This is tropical paradise that can be found on Zanzibar Islands 🏝🏖

To anyone who wants to spend the most wonderful time on the Island. We had the pleasure of visiting Zanzibar for the first time and it was truly magical experience. Sweet Beach in Jambiani was the best decision for place to stay and feel miraculous Zanzi vibes. From the moment we arrived at our hotel, we were struck by the beauty of the beach and crystal clear waters which was like something out of a dream. The rooms were spacious with beautiful views of the ocean in front of us. The staff were so kind and always happy to help. What also made our trip special was the incredible hospitality of the locals. Everywhere we went, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome. Whether we were exploring the island's rich history and culture or simply relaxing by the hotel on the beach, we felt truly at home in Zanzibar. Overall, I want to thank you all and I can't wait to visit you and experience it all again! 💙🐬🏝️

We loved this locally owned Resteruant. Best juices in Jambiani. The coconut crusted fish was so tasty and fresh we returned to have it again. Friendly and laid back staff. We tried many Resteruants in our week long stay and this was by far our favourite :) Thanks sweet beach!
