*The
restaurant
is
5
stars,
my
review
is
solely
for
the
accommodation*
I
really
wanted
to
enjoy
my
stay
as
this
place
has
a
lot
of
potential
however
it
falls
short
in
almost
every
aspect.
I
was
due
to
stay
for
almost
three
weeks
but
left
after
4
days
because
of
the
below
issues.
I
gave
them
48
hours
notice
before
I
was
leaving
and
asked
to
speak
to
a
manager
before
I
left.
I
was
told
they
would
be
there
when
I
was
leaving
Monday
afternoon,
but
they
were
not.
I
have
reached
out
via
the
contact
information
reception
gave
me
upon
checking
out,
but
have
not
heard
a
response
in
over
a
week
to
my
emails
or
WhatsApp
messages.
Problem
1:
Power.
I
get
it,
this
is
Africa
and
electricity
can
go
out
at
any
point.
My
issue
is
that
we
would
regain
power
5+
hours
after
our
neighbors
(who
didn’t
have
generators
either).
3/4
of
my
nights
spent
here
we
did
not
have
power
throughout
the
night.
There
is
nothing
worse
than
waking
up
drenched
in
sweat
and
not
being
able
to
do
anything
about
it.
I
asked
about
it
and
every
time
they
said
the
power
is
coming,
the
power
is
on
now
and
problem
solved,
Hakuna
Matata-
only
problem
not
solved
and
the
power
would
cut
out
again
a
few
hours
later
for
another
multitude
of
hours.
Problem
2-
wifi.
The
wifi,
while
free
and
technically
available,
is
absolute
trash.
I
was
supposed
to
work
while
here,
but
legitamtely
could
not
as
the
upload
and
download
speed
were
both
<1mbps.
They
do
have
three
different
WiFi’s
across
the
property
but
none
were
good.
I
overheard
numerous
other
guests
complain
about
this
as
well.
Staff:
The
staff
was
overall
very
nice
but
their
motto
is
just
“Hakuna
Matata”.
I
asked
for
ant
spray
2x
because
they
were
all
over
my
room
and
both
times
was
told
they
will
bring
it
and
never
did.
Also
when
asked
about
the
power
situations
they
would
just
say
“this
is
Africa
Hakuna
Matata”
/
no
worries.
I
felt
very
dismissed
with
minimal
rationale
about
the
power
situation.
Also
when
checking
in,
they
charged
me
$90
more
than
I
was
due
to
pay
because
they
did
not
subtract
the
deposit
that
I
had
already
paid.
Once
I
realized
this,
it
took
more
than
30
minutes
of
showing
my
credit
card
history
and
booking
confirmation
to
convince
them
that
they
overcharged
me.
Then
they
would
not
refund
the
payment
to
my
cc
(how
I
paid
for
the
deposit
and
in
person
for
remainder
of
stay),
and
instead
gave
me
a
cash
refund
spread
out
over
the
next
few
days
when
other
guests
would
pay
in
cash.
After
transferring
to
accommodation
in
Paje
for
only
a
slightly
higher
price
but
with
reliable
wifi,
a
generator,
clean
ant
free
rooms,
I
would
encourage
people
to
look
elsewhere.
