Stayed here two nights during the month of Feb 2021. 1 night before Kilimanjaro trek and one after. Both rooms had broken shower heads and shower doors that wouldn't close. Water would leak all over the washroom. I left my bags with them while trekking Kilimanjaro. My wallet was stolen out of a pocket that wasn't locked on the bag. As well, $150USD was stolen out of pants that were sent for laundry. When we confronted the manager about these stolen item, the answer we were given was "these things happen".... Do not recommend.

What an incredible hotel. The grounds are so big as soon as you pull up outside. The main entrance staff are there to greet you. You go into reception, and they already have everything for you. Why waiting for your room as we turned early? We went outside and sat by their swimming pool and had a drink. They came out to us, told us. Our rooms already and took us directly to the rooms. Great service, the rooms are huge. Open space with great space. Big bathrooms can not affect any of the experience. I have just had here, the food in the hotel is incredible. Is it better than the food in any area around the hotel? The pool is lovely and fresh with a great bar. Down next to the pool, and they have a rooftop bar. Lovely seat in the area looking straight over at the mountains. Trudy great experience will happily. Come here again and will recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a 3 star hotel service. Rooms 6/10, spacious but outdated. Our room didn’t have towels at all when we checked in. There was a cockroach in our room. Breakfast is included. It was OK not bad not great. I opened the jam container and it was full of ants 😔. Service varied at the restaurant. There was a guy that had superior service constantly while there was another that literally did not even give my change back after paying my dinner. At the bar area, try the chicken nuggets with chips and mango juice! Amazing! Overall, would I return here? No, Moshi has other nicer hotels that are even cheaper. Would I recommend if you are just needing a place to sleep? Yes.

The staff are amazing and take initiative which is something to admire. On the down side the hot water doesn't last long and the WiFi is not good. Then again neither was the 4G on my mobile so it could be a Moshi issue.

Well, the room was good. But the service not 👎! Food was not very tasty, and the internet was horrible. We had like a whole day no internet. And they asked to much money to call a taxi for us. Like $40 to the airport for a 45 minutes drive. We ended up calling ourselves a taxi for much less.

This is one of the best hotels in Moshi Kilimanjaro I can rate it in 4 Stars. This place is best for tourists they can enjoy the view when they wake up early morning. They can experience the view of the highest mountain in Africa..

This hotel was wonderful! We stayed here before our Kilimanjaro climb, after the climb, and after our safari. It was a great stopping point between all of our travels! The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly, and the food was wonderful! Highly recommend!!

We stayed here twice (both times were a Saturday) - before and after our Kilimanjaro climb. The first night there was a wedding at the hotel that was so loud we couldn’t sleep until after 1am, I was lying in bed feeling the vibrations of the speakers knowing I had to be up to climb Kili the next day. The second time we stayed (7 days later after the climb) there was again so much noise from a party that it was impossible to relax. Do not stay here on a weekend if you want to sleep. Also, we wanted some washing done after the climb - the cost was extortionate (1USD for 2 pairs of socks) and they didn’t use any washing powder? Some items still smelled very damp. We would not stay here again.

Nice enough hotel but I would not consider it a 4-star hotel anymore. It is very “tired” and needs upgrading eg stair railings should be fixed properly and firmly - some were not even in the wall - it was very rickety. There needs to be more awareness of safety for customers as there was a rumpled mat, kicked up at the corners at the top of the stairs which makes it a tripping hazard. Whilst we were there, the lift had broken down due to a fire in a power unit in a pile across the road. That wasn’t the problem. The problem was that there should have been a sign to not use the lift until it was repaired. We assumed (twice) it was working and we’re trapped in it. Luckily, help came quickly. Our room had hot water in the shower that was boiling and the cold water did not appear to work so it was a very quick run around the showers trying not to get burnt. The grounds are very nice and the food was good - the hotel just needs to be revived.

staff work like interns. The rooms are clean and nice but furnished with old scratched furnitures. The swimming pool is very clean They also have beautiful flower gardens The hotel is well built interior and exterior but there are some aspects that need to be improved. The rooms are also very very expensive. I was there for official mission hence in the afternoon we used to have lunch buffet. For three days it was the same cooking , same dishes, no creativity hence it became monotonous. Otherwise, it's a very good hotel

I been there at 2/3 for drop off my clients. But service was very bad. No even staff to help clients luggages. I saw one lady before us She was speaking with border rider on phone ask him to bring fast her chips mayai. ( Tortilla patatas) So we collected our luggages me and my clients to the reception. We were very disappointed. Nice Hotel but poor service

Friendly staff. The air conditioning sucks royally. If you don't want to spend the night suffering in the African heat, don't stay here.

Great home base for a Kilimanjaro climb. Pretty Western in style so not overtly "African" but excellent services (like same-day laundry) with clean and spacious rooms. Staff is amazing and super friendly and helpful. Restaurant menu is a bit limited but a frequent guest said to ask about off-menu options - and the pizzas are pretty good! Breakfast buffet is plentiful and good. Restaurant is available most of the day. Best local beer selection I encountered in N Tanzania. Rooftop bar and lounge (w Kili view) and lobby bar and pool area are great spots to relax before or after the climb.

Nice hotel, nice view, but disappointed with customer service. The hotel itself was nice, well-maintained, with a great view and the food is delicious. However, I was disappointed with the customer service. There were very few staff members on duty to handle customers, so there was often a long wait to get service at the bar and at the restaurant. The staff that were there were friendly, but they seemed overworked and stressed. Overall, I had a good stay at the hotel, but I would like to recommend the following: 1. Hire more staff members, especially for bar and restaurant. 2. Cross-train staff members so that they can work in multiple areas of the hotel professionally. 3. Use technology to improve efficiency, such as self-ordering kiosks, mobile ordering app, etc. I would definitely recommend the KWH to others, but I would also advise them to be prepared for the possibility of long wait times.

A beautiful Tanzania hotel. The roof top restaurant gives a stunning view of Mt Kilimanjaro. The food was excellent.

They have terrible cocktails. Ordered a poorly made pinacolada. Wish I didn’t order their cocktail. The rooftop is good.

Nice, Clean and good location accommodation in Moshi Kilimanjaro. You can overnight the night before and after your Kilimanjaro trekking before your safari or self drive car rentals. Gladiola Adventure highly recommends this place.

The hotel is the perfect place for when you want to get away from the daily chaos and relax yourself. A bunch of things to do here. It has a combination of bars lounge, restaurant and to top it all off there is free Wi-Fi. At the summit bar you get an epic view of the Kilimanjaro.

First look at the hotel is satisfying, aesthetically. The ambience provided by the garden area was just perfect for welcoming the year 2023. There was a fireworks show at midnight for about two minutes straight. The food was good but there is still room for improvement. If you are vegetarian, you can expect to dine comfortably and enjoy it too. The staff are friendly, fast, and helpful.

Bruh these people served me stale chicken wings. They were really bad and they looked like they had stayed for months. I was serrved by a trainee which even made it worse. She sayed her name was Ayesha. Also the service was a bit so slow which wasnt a problem for me, but with all that time consumed they shouldn't have brought us stinking stale chicken wings. 2nd the food is overpriced for no reason. You can get better from the outside restaurants in Moshi.

  • 1/5 Sabas W. 1 year ago on Google
The food is good especially their pizza but wings are not good because they have stayed for a long time and their waiter named Aisha also is not good to customers she is harsh

The view of Kilimanjaro at sunset is worth every penny! Service is a little slower than other places, but the food was hot, fresh and delicious! The rooms are clean, good AC, great staff and wheelchair accessible! The power was out for the elevator last night. It wasn't a problem for us that evening, but I like to bring my friends that have wheelchairs there for a great dinner with a view, so we would need power for them to get to their rooms and the rooftop restaurant.

I haven't stayed here but the roof hotel is very beautiful with a lovely view of Kili most afternoons.
