So so good!! One of my favorite Indian food!!

The food is amazing, they use fresh ingredients and the service is great. Just needs a better washroom. Service was quick.

The service was awful. We waited at least 1 hour to be served and they made a mistake on our order. They had not even grilled the chicken we ordered an hour ago. We actually cancelled that order. They were busy but did not let us know that the order was going to take time, we can wait but not in this way without a heads up and for so long. Instead while we waited, other people around us were served twice of the bbq that we too ordered. Other people were served like kings while we were blatantly ignored. There was no excuse from management or the chef. Only the waiter apologised. The rest entirely ignored us. It was clear our order was not made priority at all. We spoke to the waiter calmly and left. Utterly shocked and disappointed. As far as the food, it was decent. There are better indian food places in Arusha, I can assure you. For example: Amber restaurant, Bombay in Njiro and Lively Lady which is a mix of swahili, indian, bbq. Hot plate, we are surely never coming back and certainly telling our entourage about our experience.

A good place in the heart of the city with affordable but high quality meals. Staff are also very helpful I forgot my phone there and they brought it to me I was very happy about this too

One of the worst Chicken Tikka Masala ever….. The Naan given was Burnt and Crispy….. The rice was not properly cooked and no salt added. The food was not good at all.

First time going there. I had ice cream which was nice. Apparently the food there is really good. So next time I'm there I will need to try the food being cooked outside on the grille.

Cafe located in Arusha town . Food is awful. The cups smells so foul , vessels weren’t tidy . Don’t try any kinda Indian food . Expect presentation nothing is good

We showed up with 12 people without making a reservation during lunch time and it was no problem to host us. The food was incredible, some of the best Indian food we had. Really kind staff, super patient with us, didn’t get any order wrong though we ordered a million things. Highly recommend it, definitely one of the best places we ate at during our stay in Arusha 🙌✨👌

Terrific place for town centre meets and dining. Variety of meals from vegan to vegetarian. Not sure of beef and mutton. I had a mix of fresh juice, sugarless and it was refreshing carrot and passion with cucumber. There's a Variety of snacks like samosas and gulab jamun, meals like dosa and jeers rice with paneer curries, fries and chicken. Your choice. I will upload images soon once I visit the place again.

Delicious and authentic Indian food

My family was craving Indian food and we found wonderful indian food at Hot Plate. The prawn curry especially was delicious. The restaurant owner and the staff were very helpful and friendly. They even deliver to your hotel!

a small restaurant in the arusha city centre. with plenty of food options on their menu veg and non-veg and some dishes are nice some are pathetic to be honest. open for lunch and dinner.

I particularly enjoyed the garlic naan. The menu has a wide variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to choose from. I must say that the food is prepared to truly satisfy the standard of the Indian cuisines. If you are vegan, make sure to insist what can't be included in your dish. Otherwise, you will find lots of cheese in it. I will be back.

The food is reasonably priced and the quality is really good too. Went there for dinner the mains are big you can practically share whatever you order

Great place for authentic and incredibly tasty Indian Curry. Best I've had in Arusha and much further afield. Watching the tandoori in action is great fun too. No alcohol sold or allowed on premises.

Food was good but seating area is limited. Open seating area not good at all. They don't serve beer or any alcoholic beverages.

Absolutely legit place. I had the best kheema dosa I have had in a really long time with nice spicy chutneys. My girlfriend had a really good paneer butter masala too. Compared to other Indian places in town, this is levels above. Cannot recommend this enough.

Amazing indian restaurant! I really recommend to try the paneer butter masala, it's very delicious. The portions are also very big (the paneer butter masala with rice was enough for two people). Therefore the price is also very good. We went here multiple times during our stay in Arusha.

Not the best Indian in the world, but probably the best Indian in Arusha (sorry Taj!). The prices are so cheap you can't blame if the food doesn't taste Khana Kazanna level.

The best Indian cuisine in town! The place look basic but is very clean and well kept. Service is a bit slow but this is because every dish is prepared upon order. Staff is polite and efficient.

Authentic, delicious Indian food. Ended up eating here 3 times during my stay in Arusha. It's clean, staff is friendly and food preparation is really fast compared to East African standard.
